Luca's POV
"Miss Cade?!"
The shrill sound of a female voice has me raising my groggy head and rubbing at my heavy eyes. A furious looking professor Kingly is staring daggers in my direction and I have no clue what for.
"Eliza Cade!!!!" she bellows again and I turn my head to look at the source of her anger. I jolt up in my seat immediately when I see Eliza. He face was bathed in sweat and her face was contorted as though she was in pain.
I grab her shoulder and shake her a bit but her eyes don't open. Placing a hand on her forehead I retract it quickly, shocked at how hot her skin was. I stand while removing my airbuds from my ears. Walking around Eliza's desk, I gently lift her head off her desk and proceed to lift her body into my arms.
