Luca's POV
I take Eliza's hand in mine and turn to walk her out the room. We only take a single step for when her grandmother appears at the door and her eyes narrow when she sees Eliza.
"Her parents are only still packing and you're already making her cry boy?" she says to me while looking me over. I'm about to defend myself when I feel Eliza's arms snake around my waist and her head leans into my chest. My arm comes up to encircle her shoulder as she sighs softly.
"Luca isn't the reason I'm upset grandmother" Eliza says in between sniffles and her gran walks into the room with a small smile on her face.
