I had to go to a meeting this morning. I was up and out the door before Ember even woke up. Which means I did not get my goodbye kiss. Maybe that's the reason why I'm off today. The meeting is in full swing around me and yet I can't help but be distracted. I know the meeting is important, but I still can't keep my head in it. Today we are discussing the cleanup in the battle against Hades and Annabelle. They left a bit more of a mess than anticipated. At least the last battle wasn't on our ground. But now over half of our woods that we run have been torn to pieces, burnt to ash, or just downright destroyed. And no doubt there's other matters that need to be attended to besides just the forest.
