The next morning was even more brutal than the night before. Nobody wore smiles on their faces. They eat their breakfast in silence. All for different reasons. Lysa is so obviously upset about what happened the day before. The way she saw it, she had only made a new friend and yet it angered Vance. Dante was upset he didn't even have a chance to make a friendnd having to deal with his sister. And Vance was upset because he was forced to realize that he could end up not being Lysa's mate or that he may have to end up sharing her. No matter the reason, you could tell it's sadness in the air, so thick you could cut with a knife. I had even gotten up early to make all of their favorite foods and yet the food just got pushed around the plate and could barely taste.
