I’d rather not have a visit from the police because the bastard decided to do something drastic.” “Got it. Question, why not bring the cops in on this, especially now?” “Several reasons,” Eddie said before Jules could reply. “I have no proof of what he’s been doing, or I guess that he’s the one responsible for my accidents to start with. Also, I’m carrying fake ID, which I have since all this began. Several different IDs, depending on where I was. I’d rather not be arrested for that.” Cal smirked. “You’d be safe if they tossed your ass in jail.” “Right.” Eddie rolled his eyes. “Not quite how I want to spend the next ten years or whatever the sentence would be.” Jules
