“Promise me you’ll visit all of the time okay!”
Anna says sternly grabbing both my hands in hers tightly.
“And call as soon as you get back to Blackstone.” Mia adds laying her head on my shoulder.
“Okay ladies I think Ella knows she has to stay in constant contact with you both or you will hunt her down.” James laughs as he rescues me from the clutches of my best friends.
“See you soon Ell.” he adds hugging me tightly.
I laugh at all my amazing friends as they fuss over Lucas and I as we depart to return to Blackstone. There is a light, carefree mood in the air and although we have all been through a lot, it feels like life can now begin to move forward again.
