Alpha Zack’s POV
It’s been two long weeks since she left and it’s been hell. I can’t concentrate, I’m not sleeping or eating right and I can’t get her out of my damn mind. This is not the way I wanted to start my Alpha duties to the pack, I think to myself as I stare out of the car window. Before all of this I felt prepared for anything, now I realise that wasn’t true. I wasn’t prepared for her. My beautiful mate.
No one knows that I have had her under surveillance these past two weeks. If Lorenzo found out he would loose it and if my parents knew I’d get an earful of grief from them. Thankfully, Austin’s reports so far have been pretty brief. It seems that Lexi mainly spends her time either at college or a nearby bookshop where she seems to have a part time job.
