After taking a few days to re-invent myself and spending them with Asher, him skipping school as well, I finally decide it's time to go back. Asher and I aren't dating, just friends with benefits. He told me that he doesn't want to tie himself down, and I agree, because I know I don't deserve for anyone to love me anyway if even my own father can't. I know that this is probably the best I'll ever have, and I deserve this. My dad showed me that, that I wasn't worth anything.
He picks me up from school and I jump on the back of his motorcycle, not listening to my mom as she yells out of the front door "Don't you dare get on the back of that motorcycle with that boy! He'll ruin you, Melanie!". I just laugh at her as I hop on anyway before Asher speeds away. Doesn't
