Despite my lingering suspicion of the Markson family due to Karen's actions, I now realize that not everyone in her family shares her behavior.

I was touched when the Markson brothers came to apologize for their sister's actions, even though they were not involved in her plans.

After having dinner with my in-laws, Eric's mother insisted that we stay overnight since it was too late to leave. I welcomed the idea as I was already exhausted from the drive to my in-law's house.

Leaving the dining table my mother-in-law Susan, Rose, Anna, Tina and I went our separate ways from the men to have some girl's time. We made our way to the family room to sit back and unwind.

"So what is going on with you and the Markson brothers Rose? Tina asked with a grin written all over her face. "I don't know what you are talking about," Rose replied.

"Luke and Liam had been checking you out the entire time at dinner. There's no way you hadn't noticed them staring you down all night," Anna stated.

"I don't care if they were staring at me; the fact that I am not interested in either one of them," Rose had pointed out.

"They are very handsome young men; why not give one of them a chance," Susan stated. "Mother because they were always mean to me," Rose replied. "That means they like you Rose," we all said in unison towards Rose.

At some point Rose left the group; I guess she was getting annoyed by all the questions and having her in the spotlight. Eventually, I also excused myself because I was ready to go to sleep.

Upon arriving in Eric's old room, I headed straight to the bathroom to draw myself a soothing bath. As I settled into the warm water, I could feel the tension leaving my body, allowing me to relax.

Lost in relaxation, I was surprised when Eric joined me in the bathroom. He began to give me a comforting massage, starting with my aching neck and moving down to my tense shoulders.

I moan at his touch which encourages him to move down to my collarbone and even further to cup my beasts. My breathing became heavy as Eric started to lightly kiss my neck.

With his warm breath on my neck, Eric whispered in my ear. "Did you enjoy yourself tonight beautiful?" I confirmed to him that I indeed enjoyed myself and even I told him about the conversation is girls had about the Markson brothers.

Eric continued to massage me as he informed me of the conversation he had with his father, Luke, and Liam. He said the brothers wanted to help us out by sending Karen to prison. Eric gave me the details of why Luke and Liam wanted to help us.

So I wasn't the only one Karen tried to ruin just to be with Eric. Even her stepbrother couldn't stand her, which is saying a lot about her character.

'Karen has it bad for you and did you ever realize how much she loves you? I asked Eric. "Of course, I knew Karen had a thing for me but it didn't matter because I wasn't interested. Also, I didn't know she would go to the extreme to harm anyone over me," Erix told me

"Karen may do a lot of things and crazy is one of them. However I understand; you are smart, handsome, and kind. Any woman would want to be with you baby," I confessed to Eric.

'The only problem with that is I only want one woman," Eric said sweetly. I felt Eric's hands removed from my skin and I immediately began to miss the warmth of his touch.

I wasn't sure what Eric was doing but I heard a lot of movement behind. Eric then leaned into my ear whispering for me to move forward in the tub.

I followed his order and next, I knew Eric got in the tub right behind me. His closeness made me relax more. He enveloped me in his embrace and pulled me closer to him so my back was resting on his hard chest.

I leaned my head back enough so Eric had access to my lips. I didn't have to say a word; Eric instinctively knew what I wanted.

He captured my lips hungrily as he roamed over my body. I snaked my hand to the back of his neck to pull him closer.

We released each other lips; breathing heavily as we were out of breath the our passionate kiss. "I love you so much, baby." I love you even more beautiful.

We sat in the tub a little bit longer just to enjoy each other's company. Eric can never keep his hands off me; he wrapped his arms around me so he could rub my growing belly.

After our bath; Eric got out of the tub first then he reached for my hand to help me out of the tub. Eric took his time to dry me off from head to toe. He even took special care to moisturize my skin.

After brushing our teeth we both step back into the bedroom feeling refreshed. We snuggle up into bed together absorbing each other's warmth.

I was feeling a lot better than I did this morning about dinner with Luke and Liam. Now I know I have more support on my side. It baffled me that Karen hated me so much when I'd never done anything to her but now she will pay for her actions.

"What's on your mind beautiful, I can see the wheels spinning in your head," Eric whispered in my ear. "I was just thinking why Karen hates me so much. Even though she had deep feelings for you she didn't have to treat me so badly," I confess to Eric.

Eric held me in his arms giving me words of comfort. "Everything is going to be okay beautiful; Karen just has serious issues. She is the type who hates that she can't get what she wants. Don't stress yourself over Karen, she isn't worth it.
