I opened my eyes, hearing a key turning in the keyhole, I lifted my head to look at the door.
How on earth did I fall asleep?
I contemplated my next move.
Do I run?
Do I hide?
Do I fight back?
Before I could make up my mind, the door opened, showing me Kai standing at the door opening. As soon as his eyes locked with mine, I lost the ability to breathe normally.

Why is he so handsome?
He was holding his leather jacket in one of his hands, showing me a piece of his arm. Not only did I notice how muscled he was, but I could also spot his entire right arm was covered in one massive tattoo. It looked like trees, some sort of a river, and peeking underneath his sleeve I could spot the snout of a wolf.

Tala purred inside of me at the sight of our mate. But my brain was telling me straight up… NO!
He kidnapped me!
He had Judy’s pack killed and sold the girls off or let his pack members keep them as their personal slaves. How in the world could I ever be mated to someone like that? Clearly… The Moon Goddess made a big mistake! Maybe I just found him attractive , I mean… just look at him, who wouldn’t find him attractive? But Tala shook her head inside of my mind.

He walked towards me, throwing his leather jacket on the bed as he passed it. I could feel my eyes grow wider the closer he came to me. His eyes pierced through mine, so much it almost hurt. Eyes I wanted to look at forever, while I held his face in my hands, lying in bed together, naked…

I blinked a few times, seeing Kai’s gaze had moved to the double wooden door as he walked straight past me and into his dressing room. My mouth fell open.
Why doesn’t he say anything?
Am I supposed to say anything?
I could hear some drawers opening and closing.
Is he changing clothes?
Is his upper body naked right now?
Is he fully naked right now?
I sighed as I shook my head, hoping to get rid of my brain, which, right now, was playing some serious tricks on me. He walked back out as he was closing the last button on his shirt. A kaki shirt, which looked fantastic on his body, his perfect body.
FUCK SIENNA, STOP!
Kai looked at me again as he ran a hand through his hair.
“Let’s go.” He said, pointing his arm towards the door. Making me freeze in my seat.
“What?” Was all I was able to ask.
Where are we going?
Why? It’s in the middle of the night now,
Was he going to hurt me?
Did he change his mind and was he going to deliver me into the hands of his Beta Seth?
I shook my head from left to right, digging my nails into the fabric of the couch. Kai’s eyes opened wide as he saw my reaction, as if he couldn’t understand what I was saying.
“No.” I whispered, my nails digging deeper.
This couch is safe.
I am not moving one inch!
“Get up, let’s go.” He spoke again, and I could see in his eyes that he was getting angry with me. I shook my head again.
“No.” this time, speaking harder. I needed to stand my ground. Out of nowhere, he walked towards me, he was so fast, my mind didn’t even get a chance to process it. And before I knew it, he had his hands wrapped around my upper arms, as he lifted me off of the couch, and pressed me against the wall. Feeling the cold of the glass of the window, against my back.
His hands were firm, but he didn’t hurt me like Seth had done outside, as he was holding my arms in his hands. Holding me. But still, looking at him right now, he scared me to death to be honest. I gasped for air, feeling how close he was standing to me. This was the first time I had felt his hands on my body, and it made my inside scream for more, begging for more.
“You have been here the entire day and you have not eaten, you are coming downstairs with me to eat, right now!” He spoke in a threatening tone, yelling out the last two words, which made me close my eyes as the power of his voice scared me once again. He used his Alpha tone on me. Lucky me, Kai was not my Alpha, my father was. So his Alpha tone had zero effect on me. So, I picked up all my courage and set myself straight, looking him in his eyes.
“Or what? Are you going to kill me like you did with those other girls? Sell me off or pass me on to one of your pack members?” I spotted a slight change in his eyes, while I said that.
Did I strike a nerve?

Kai looked down, his hands still around my upper arms. When he looked back up, he was grinning, as he slowly came closer, pressing me against the window, his body pushing against mine. I couldn’t help but feel aroused by feeling his body against mine.

I could feel his lips brush against my ear, sending me shivers down my spine and turning my legs into jello, making it hard for me to keep standing straight.
“Maybe I will, but not before I’ve had my way with you.” My eyes popped open in horror, where I had felt pleasure about feeling his hands on me. I now felt disgust. This man was a freak and nothing more; a monster. He would never have my heart. I will never be his mate, nor the Luna of this pack of shits. I knew the rules, I knew all too well that in a world where he would have been a gentle man, he would have claimed me as his, we would mate and claim each other, have a mating ceremony and I would become his Luna. But hell could freeze over before I would give myself to him. I made that promise to myself then and there. He leaned back to look at me, seeing the disgust on my face, no doubt. He rolled his eyes at me and let me go.
“Fine, then go ahead and starve.” He threw his hand in the air, as if he didn’t give a s**t. Then he looked back at me with his eyes, black as night.
“Dare to say no to me again tomorrow, and I will gladly give you to Seth.” He turned around and slammed the door behind him. Closing it, as he left me once again, all alone in this massive room. Where I cried and sobbed beyond my control. Praying that my father would just barge in any second now.
