Cath They sat on some forgotten stumps that lay between the old trees and some more time passed before Red spoke. For a brief moment, he just closed his eyes, seemingly enjoying the caresses of the morning wind on his burned skin now that he was able to remove the cloak thanks to the deeper shadows of the mountains behind him. He was still restless, his whole body rigid in expectation of a new attack and it was all Cath could do not to follow him in this madness that was happening. Yet, Cath didn’t waver. He was not going to, even though everything in him screamed to run and never look back. With every breath he took, he still saw images of the future, not the real future, but a possible one nonetheless, that the shadow creature implanted in his head. And these images painted a gruesome
