I was getting seriously fed up with this bullshit. We all knew at this point that I was going to get my way, just as I usually do. It was annoying me that Council Member Perry was dragging it out. I wanted to get out of this f*****g pack and back to my own. I was sick of being treated as though I were less than I am. Chris Baxter thought that he could take what is mine, but I had thoroughly enjoyed the look on his face when she had said that her duty was to me. He looked as though his heart was splitting in two. I was looking forward to seeing his face when she rejected him. Goddess only knows how long I was going to be made to wait for that though.
