*CHAPTER 7*
I wondered if my brother knows about the truth of our parents.
Now that I think about it, no one I met has a mother or father. Were they volunteers for the game aswell, and died the same way my parents did?
After that time at the café with the women I couldn't stop thinking about what she said.
Is the games really created to start war between humans, and what will happen if Jenisis pro is actually the start button.
I grabbed my jacket and called my brother, telling him to meet me at Olivia's house.
I have to talk about this to them. I know Olivia won't believe me, but I know Jessie will, Hayden aswell.
I knock on their door. Jessie came to open it. Inside is Hayden, he is making something to drink.
I look Jessie in the eyes, and say, “I need to talk to you, all of you.”
“What's wrong? ” Jessie asks worriedly.
“First, lets just get everyone here. Where's Olivia? ” I ask her.
“She's in her room, I'll get her.” she says.
I feel a little nervous, and I have this weird feeling in my chest whenever I'm near Hayden. I don't know what it is, but I do know that it might be because I like him.
“What's up?” Olivia says.
“We need to have a talk. But my brother has to be here aswell.” I say.
“What's wrong? You look stressed.” Olivia says.
She noticed that I am really nervous and stressed out. It's good in a way, that way she'll know I'm serious.
My brother didn't take too long. He came as soon as Olivia came into the room. With him is Alisa. Honestly I didn't care. I know Alisa will listen and try to help, plus she's good at keeping secrets.
“Okay, so we all are here. What's going on?” Jessie asks.
“Okay. So you guys know that I won that big prize and became a JBL. Yesterday, or few hours ago, I met up with "Seven" who's second in charge of Source head courters district 7.” I began telling them.
“Okay. That's interesting. ”Hayden says.
“Not at all. Here's the interesting part. She told me something that I honestly cant grasp around my head. It's an hectic peace of information and you guy's need to promise to keep it as a secret.”
They all look at eachother, and one by one they said "I promise."
“She told me that the new game is ment to start a war. ” I went on saying.
Olivia sits down on the couch and asks, “What do you mean by war?”
“It's supposed to make everyone JBL's or just jail breakers. And if that happens every one will get everything for free, leaving nothing for no one. And there's a catch, if you die in the game, you'll die in real life, same if you get hurt. People will die for no reason, and that'll mean everything will turn into violence.” I tell them.
“But what if you don't have an experience suit?” Alisa asks.
“Experience suit or not, you'll feel the pain either way. But one thing I think is that they'll force everyone to get a experience suit. ”
“Not everyone can become JBL's or jail breakers. But even if that happens, what's the big deal?” Jame says.
“Worst part is, if everyone becomes JBL's and jail breakers, head courters will make it seem if there is a glitch, that'll reboot everything, taking most of your SP and SPS, or worst case scenario is that they'll act as if you hacked the game, which will delete and band your account that'll leave you with nothing aswell. But Seven told me that if you are banned from the game because they made it seem like a hack, they'll still reboot the game, doing the exact same thing, then everyone will hate you.”
“But it's one person that'll be hated, so it's not a big deal.” Olivia says.
“No, they'll make more than 20 people hackers just to start the conflict. Any one can be an suspect. ” I said.
“What's the game?” Hayden asks.
I panicked for a moment. I don't know if I should tell them, but I had to push myself to answer him.
In a calm soft tone that's barely hearable I say, “Jenisis pro.”
“Your kidding me? The game that everyone can't wait for, that'll be bought instant as soon as it's on the market?” Olivia says a little sarcastically.
“Yeah. Before Jenisis pro, there was a Jenisis X, that had volunteers, same with Jenisis pro 5'120 experiment. ” I tell them.
“What's the other's about?” Jame asks.
“Jenisis X was a fail, I don't know who the volunteers was, but I know who was the volunteers for Jenisis pro 5'120 experiment. Sadly it was our parents. ”
“Mom and dad?” Jame asks. He is starting to tear up.
“Yes. That day when they were locked up and we never saw them again, they had to cover the fact they were volunteers for a murder game. In that way they covered their deaths.”
“Deaths?” Jame asks, he's voice tone seems even more sad.
“There was an malfunction, I guess, but from what I've heard everyone lost, so they had to be killed before they could spread a word.”
“Were our parents there aswell?” Jessie asks.
“I don't know... All seven told me is this little peace of information, so I honestly can't answer your question. ” I replied.
Everyone is quiet. You can't hear a sound.
I wanted to leave, but where will I go. I can't turn to games because I know why their created, so why would I carry on playing, when I'm already dead.
“So, is there a plan? ” Hayden asks.
Everyone looks shocked. Before I could reply him, Olivia angrily says,
“You honestly think we can do something about this? And why would we. We have no chance of winning.”
“Well I geuss we need to restart until we figure out how to win.” Jessie says.
Olivia rolls her eyes. She looks like she doesn't want us to do anything about it.
“What about that trip for two you won to head courters? ” Jame asks.
“I'm going to use that invite even when I know there's a big risk.” I telk him.
“What big risk?” Jessie asks.
“Seven told me I won because I'm going to be a test subject for the Jenisis pro game, before they release it. That's why I need to bring a geust, so that we can fight against eachother. ” I reply.
“Can you deny it? ” Jame asks.
“Yes, but then I'm not allow to go. I'll be kicked out basically, or they'll force me, or us.”
“Then go. Maybe we can figure out something, before you need to play. ” Hayden suggests.
“Yeah, and maybe we then can get a peak of their up to.” Jessie agrees.
I have no other options then agreeing aswell. I know what the risks are, and now they know too.
“Who are you going to take with you?” Olivia asks.
“I don't know. I need someone on both sides to help.” I reply.
“Take Jame. He is good at everything, including games.” Alisa asks.
“No. I can't involve more of my family in this, he can help, but not in there.”
“Then take me, I know all the basics, and I easily hack, without them noticing. ” Hayden suggests.
“Not a bad idea, but I don't know if you should hack anything. ” I reply.
“You guys are crazy if you think this will work.” Olivia comments.
“I never said it will work, I just think we have a clear shot of getting through. ” I reply.
She looks mad at me for what I said. But it doesn't matter weither she thinks it's a bad idea or not, we have options, we don't need exactly need her permission.
Olivia walks out of the room, lookin disappointed.
“When's the trip?” Jame asks.
“As soon as district 7's head courters are done building. ” I reply.
The is a stony silence for a few minutes. Until I hear someone knocking on my house door. I quickly sprung up to see who it is, I gotten a shiver down my spine when I see Seven standing there. I wonder what she's doing here, even more, how does she know where I live. Before I could tell my the others who it was, I left as quickly as I could.
“Hey, what are doing here?” I ask as I walk towards her.
“I need to talk to you.” she says. She looks in trouble and terrified.
I invited her into my house, then I offer her something to drink.
She quickly excepts.
I tell her to sit on the couch while I get something to drink. She asks if she can get water, or if I have, juice.
After I got the juice I sat beside her.
“What is it what you wanted to talk about?” I started the conversation.
“You what I told you at the café? Somehow they know I splattered the information about the game. I don't know who told them, but I hope it wasn't you.” she says.
“I would never tell them, I would've never even said a word if I don't trust a person enough. ” I tell her.
“I know, but somehow they found out. Look I have to go, but don't say anything to anyone further, please. ” she says and walks out of the door.
My heart beat is rising and I feel dizzy. I honestly can't deal with everything now.
I went to my room to rest. I don't feel well, and I can't talk to anyone about it anymore.
