The MURDERER of my parents is my mate!! Chuckle* I, Leonor Hurgus, reject you, Xenia Hurgus as my mate!!" After a year... "How can you even become my mate? Have you seen yourself!! You didn't even get your wolf!! You're not fit to become my Mate.. I, Nikolai White, reject you, Xenia Hurgus as my mate." And currently, I'm again standing in front of my third mate after getting rejected by my two mates already. Yes, my first mate was my adopted brother Leonor, who has hated me since I can remember. Leonor is the Gamma of our Crystal Moon pack, which is one of the strongest packs. Even My parents were also Beta of this pack. And the other one was my crush. Yes, I used to like him from my high school since he was never the part of our bully gang, which made my life a living hell in high school.. My school was not any normal school.. it was the highest ranked school which is only prepared for royal Alpha families and their strongest Gamma and betas. Just because my parents were the greatest Beta of our pack, they allowed me to study here. I thought Nikolai would be a great mate of mine as Moon goddess mated him with me, but who knew that he was the biggest bas*ard of the century!! Actually, he is our king, but still, I can't help but hate him because he betrayed me and loathed me for something I never did! I didn't even notice when he came in front of me until I heard his wolf whispering, "Mine." I don't know whether I heard it wrong or his Wolf actually growled 'Mine'??? Since the Moon Goddess mates us as Ares said, now I'm waiting to get his rejection. I slowly raised my head, and his glowing Golden eyes hitched my breathing. His eyes, HIS DAMN GOLDEN EYES, can make any girl fall to her knees. However, surprisingly, Ares didn't utter a word but only kept staring at me. But just under his intense dusky gaze, I felt like I was being captured in his eyes. But immediately, I moved my eyes off him because I didn't want to fall for him any longer. Getting hurt by him once was enough for my poor heart to handle. I am his mate, right? And I know he'll reject me. Then why did he bother to call the entire pack here? Scoff* I know. He wants to humiliate me and reject me as I am just a wolfless girl who keeps wandering around since I don't have anyone in my life. I could feel my eyes turning moist, but I wanted to stop myself from crying in front of these cruel Wolves who knew nothing but power. With my eyes stuck on the floor, I was waiting to get rejected by him when a majestic tone of Ares rang around the entire hall, making my heart drop on the floor after hearing his words. "Marry me, and become my LUNA" his deep husky tone rang around the hall, making everyone gasp hard in surprise, or you could say in SHOCK. My state was the same as I raised my head and noticed his face in front of mine. I could not help but shout in his face, "WHAT??" My heart stopped beating for a while as this can't happen! He..he is the greatest King of Alpha, and I am a mere wolfless girl! How can I become his Luna?? But to my surprise, Ares looked expressionless like always, he was looking calm like the afternoon waves of a sea. Looking into my eyes, he again said in a loud tone, "I, Ares Wright, accept Xenia Hurgus as my mate and the Future Luna of the werewolf land." Again my breathing hitched while everyone around us started whispering among themselves. 'Have you gone crazy? Don't you know who I am??' I immediately talked to his mind as I couldn't point it out aloud in front of everyone but guess what? He ignored me like air. "But Alpha, she didn't get her wolf yet! Moreover, she is not fit to be our Luna?" I heard my bother, I mean step-brother Leonor talking to Ares from behind. Of course, he can't allow me to be the Luna of our pack since he hates me, but why should I give a damn about his thoughts when he has been treating me like a piece of s**t since the death of our parents! Moving my eyes off Ares, I looked around and noticed that half of the eyes were filled with surprise, and others were envious. Most of them bullied me for my whole life, and now they're envious of me. Shouldn't I be happy after seeing their sulking faces?? “I am marking my Mate; it should not bother you, Leonor,” Ares said in a cold tone making my brother shut. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even notice when Ares held my hand and started walking toward the top stairs. I kept staring at the back of his head because I was not in a position to reject him or point out my feelings here because, of course, I didn't want to die in his hands. I even noticed his parents were standing near the stairs; surprisingly, beautiful smiles were lingering on their faces. And even before I could digest whatever was happening to me, I felt Ares sneaking his hand around my waist and pulling me closer to him as we both faced the pool of wolves. "I finally found my Mate after waiting for years, so there's no point in wasting time." Ares said, making my eyebrows squint but a small gasp escaping my mouth at the shock as Ares took my hand in his and pulled out a ring from his pocket, "The Marriage will take place tomorrow, but for now, I want to give this token of our marriage to you today as a symbol of our future." My wide eyes are just locked on him. This time even I forgot that we were in the middle of Wolfs as I kept staring at his golden eyes, and he gently slid the ring on my finger. I could hear a round of applause from downstairs, but I just couldn't move my eyes off him. Is it really happening? Am I really about to marry the greatest LYCAN KING? He again sneaked his arm around my waist and faced the wolfs when I murmured in a low tone, "Are you sure about the marriage?" No one could hear us, and my heart was not getting a good idea of his decision, so I again asked him. This time he looked into my eyes and said, "I will get everything ready for our marriage; you should just think about our WEDDING NIGHT." Hearing him, my eyes went wide, and even before I could control my mouth, a curse slipped out. "J.E.R.K!!"
