As the two stood in that dark alley, it started to drizzle again. The heavy rain that had fallen late that afternoon had long since stopped, but its aftereffects were still going strong inside Ren.
When he felt the pinprick droplets becoming larger and coming down faster, Ren began to panic again, but for a different reason.
Noticing this, along with the scent of Ren’s pheromones becoming slightly stronger, Kade said, “Uh… my car is parked nearby. Want to get out of this rain with me?”
