“You’ve checked the surrounding forest?”
“Yes Alpha, there are no signs of anything suspicious.”
I nod in return and gesture for my warriors to begin wrapping up their search of the area.
As we begin to head back to the cars my thoughts turn to Annie and how she is getting on at the other location. If this search turned up nothing, there is a good chance that she is heading straight towards danger. When we were leaving the pack house earlier I couldn’t even bare to look at her.
