Alpha Annie’s POV
I open my eyes and look around the unfamiliar bedroom warily. I am lying on a double bed in my underwear, my whole body covered head to toe in cold wet towels.
“Thea… Thea are you there? Where are we?” I ask in confusion, my mind still foggy and struggling to function.
There is no reply.
I sit up and hold onto my head which is pounding so hard it feels like it might split in two.
Just then, the door in the corner opens and Orla pokes her head inside, offing me a sympathetic smile. It suddenly clicks where I am and what has happened to me today as memories of the heat beginning flood my mind.
“Hi… can I come in?” she asks gently.
“Of course yes… I’m assuming this is your room after all?” I laugh lightly taking in my surroundings.
The walls are a light shade
