Alpha Kade’s POV I watch her car speed off out of the street and follow it with my eyes as it turns the corner. That brief conversation, if you can call it that, wasn’t nearly enough. Since the moment I saw her yesterday at the boundary line I knew I was in trouble. It took every ounce of my self control not to grab her into my arms then and there but it seems the words I said to her on our last encounter had the effect that I had intended. She hates me and I don’t blame her. I am knocked out of my trance when Roman approaches me, his arm still linked with my mother’s. “Kade honey is that you?” she says excitedly as she approaches. “It is Mom. You look great today.” I compliment her while I lock eyes with Roman who I can tell is simmering below the surface. “We thought we would c
