Chapter 3“So how did it go?” Robin asked excitedly.
Shirley was rather amused by Robin’s excitement. She understood that Robin was having a bit of a rough patch in the love department, but she was starting to feel a bit smothered and annoyed that Robin would not let her alone about prying into her love life. She was always happy to share a few details here and there, but Shirley was really a very private person. And she found it funny that the time that Shirley wanted to avoid saying anything at all about her love life was the one time that Robin seemed most interested. Of course, she had a reason to be.
“How did what go?” Shirley asked feigning innocence.
