MARLIYA'S POV -- I stare at our house that's towering high up in the sky, the sun sitting behind it as it goes down. I glance to the side, looking at my parent's cars. Both of them stand neatly parked next to one another and I blow out a breath before opening the door. I quietly shut it before silently walking on my toes to the living room where I hear talking. "We can't just stand by and do nothing," my father's low growl makes shivers run up my spine, "I know, but what else can we do?", "Take the pack away...I'll work till we have a son." his words are full of darkness and it hurts. His decision to have a son hurts, because he's deciding it based on anger, not love...Never in my eighteen years have they tried for another baby because I was enough...I don't understand why he would say
