MARLIYA’S POV

Kenzie and I are both covered in sweat as we bake in the sun, my dad left half an hour ago when he realized that it was just the two of us being here, but as soon as he left, Kenzie and I both got onto our phones and invited Logan and Jack.
We talked before doing that, because they are best friends and she and I think that Jack accepted the alpha role for Logan.
We might be wrong, Jack is not the brightest, so we might be very, very wrong.
"Is he on his way?" I turn on my stomach, the hot sun beams burning my cool back. "Yeah, yours?" I love how she asks 'yours' as if Jake was hers. Perhaps they would end up as mates. I don't know when Jake's birthday is, but Kenzie's is in a few months, but could she trust him with her heart?
"Yeah, let's just hope they don't show up
