CHAPTER LXVII : THE SLEIPNIRS AND THE HIPPOCAMPI

            “Can you make me one?” Zati doubtfully asked Kurezma pertaining her dress. Zati had been wearing Vedasto’s clothes all along since we were back at the shores of Psychic Nation. And Vedasto had not been wearing an upper cloth ahahaha and everyone seemed to forget about that, if not only for Kurezma

            “I haven’t done it before, but I’ll try” Kurezma said as she looked at her hand also doubting herself if she could make one

            “Don’t bother… we’re going to the Air Empire anyway, we’ll get you something to wear from there” I said interrupting them

            “Yea, ok… we better get there” Zati agreed with me “I forgot to tell you about that thing earlier ahahaha” she added

            “It’s also getting late yet we haven’t had our dinner yet. We should get to the closest village fast” Hazol said reminding us. Now he said it, I’m feeling hungry now as if I can hear my stomach growling right now “Now Eeya, it’s you time to shine ahahaha” he said as he laughed giving me my chance to use my power

            I just nodded at them and sat at the special chair at the very back part of this vehicle that Harald placed for the so-called driver that he is saying ahahaha which happens to be me in land. Yet he’s right though, this is a perfect place to use our powers to drive this thing.

            I started producing ice with my hand to make something that will drive this vehicle. At first, I had an idea to drive us that way Zexal drove us back in the ocean, but isn’t that tiring? I started thinking of something else. I started creating a horse as the finishing touch of our vehicle… nice, well we have now a carriage ahahaha.

            “Can you transfer that chair here in front?” I asked Harald if he could move the driver’s seat in front of the vehicle. I mean, come to think about it, where can you a vehicle where the driver’s seat is behind it. Weird right? He started transferring it in front and then I sat on it.

            I created two Sleipnirs to carry this carriage and made an icy rope to hold them with my hand and in this vehicle. Sleipnirs are known to be strong and fast, and I’ve been training for how many days to master making one. I’ve learned enough already to make two of them right now.

            I started making the two of them run and felt excited as I became the horseman right now ahahahaha I can also feel the other’s excitement as this vehicle started running. It’s a total success, right? They’re so smart to come up with this kind of thing, now it has been a big help along our challenge.

            I noticed how steep the slope of this mountain in this side is. Just perfect for the greatest slide that they could experience. I made sure that there is ice under the vehicle so that it would run smoothly since it didn’t have wheels or anything to make it run smoother.

            “Hold on tight everyone” I said as we came closer to the part where we fall and slide downwards this mountain ahahaha this is so exciting!

            “Why!? What’s happening!?” Hazol asked as he stood up to check on what’s ahead “Oh my gosh!” he exclaimed as we suddenly went down fast

            “Eeyaaaa!!!” he screamed as he hugged the pole near him to keep him from falling or hitting something ahahahaha

            “Isn’t this fun!? Woo-hoo!” I exclaimed then I noticed that only Hazol is not enjoying what’s happening here “Hey psychic boy, calm down!” I shouted so he could hear “I thought you planned this!” I added

            “Not this fast!” he shouted back as he kept hugging the pole

            “Just enjoy it!” I suggested “By the way, we need your force field now!” I said reminding him as we’re fast approaching the crowded part of this mountain where we might hit big rocks and some trees “Now!” I shouted as I saw that we’re going to hit a stone. Gosh! I can control the horses but not this vehicle!

            He quickly made a force field to protect us even if we hit anything.

            “Just keep it up!” I said as I kept on controlling the direction which these horses should go “And hold on everyone!” I said reminding them

            “This is so amaaaazing! Oh gosh!” Kurezma exclaimed as she’s enjoying our trip right now “I’ve never done this before! I didn’t know you do this thing here… unfortunate for us we don’t have mountains above” she added

            “Same with us! We can’t do this underwater… if we do we might destroy some important artifacts in there ahahaha” Zexal cut himself in… I knew this would be so enjoyable! Good thing I suggested ahahaha at least we’re having fun during our challenge and just being serious the whole time. We’ll all learn better in this kind of training.

            “Gosh! This feels so greeeeeaaaat! But can you please help me with this shirt!?” I heard Zati screaming, I wanted to look at them as they all started laughing but I can’t. I have to focus since the real challenge have started, there are a lots of trees on the way and the rocks are getting larger since we’re approaching the foot of the mountain.

            Yet I think I know what’s going on there ahahahaha Vedasto’s shirt is kinda large for Zati plus the wind is crazy right now, so… it’s obvious what’s going on ahahaha

            After several minutes, we finally got to the shore indicating the edge of the ocean. Now, it’s time for me to step down from being the driver ahahahaha

            “We’re already in the shore, it’s Zexal’s turn…” I said as I let go of the ice ropes and my horses disappeared. Well, let’s meet again, sleipnirs.

            “I actually believe that your scheme is brilliant, and I do happen to learn the same technique as you do, so allow me to do the same…” Zexal said as he shoved his hands bending the water in front of us and started making the same thing I have made earlier

            “I bet you do” I said as I went back to my original position in this vehicle where I sat a while ago and let him do his work, oh wait, that’s not a sleipnir! Woah, his work is kind of impressive, I’m greatly stirred. It’s beautiful!

            “What is that?” Hazol asked as same with him and the others, we don’t know what kind of animal that is. It looks like a horse but lower body of a water creature, yet it looked so majestic and elegant. Though it’s all made up of water as same as my Sleipnir that was made of ice.

            But sleipnirs do look extravagant if you see a real one. It looks powerful and firm in its muscular stature and its eight legs do look tough and really made to with-stand such power. That’s why one would be very lucky to have one. I would love to see what this creature that Zexal made in its actual figure.

            “It’s a hippocampus, a creature of the sea and it rarely shows itself to humans. Its upper body is of a horse and its lower body is of a sea creature… isn’t it exquisite?” he asked showing it to us, and I agree with him, it didn’t fail me to give me the awe factor. I’ve never seen before though.

            “You would love to see an actual one, it’s way more better than this watery one ahahaha I haven’t seen one before, but I know it’s amazing. Our ancestors say that they only show themselves to a worthy one… my father said he saw one before with both his eyes, unfortunately he wasn’t able to interact with it as it just went passing by” he told the story

            The hippocampi went nearer our vehicle as Zexal rose his hand attaching the same method as I did with mine. He made water attach these hippocampi to our vehicle and as well as to him in order to control to which direction they would go.

            “So we’re here in this spot” Hazol started explaining as he used something to make us all see the map. I don’t know what it is but he’s like showing us the map through a large projection right in front of us.

            “You have to go to this direction to get to the Air Empire’s territory. In this part, there is a village and we’ll see if we could interact with people living there… ok?” he said pointing at one point to another trailing a specific area

            “Understood… now let’s go!” Zexal said as he started making his hippocampi run and pull our vehicle to the sea and venture all the way to the Air Empire. It looks so amazing seeing those never before seen creature… even the Vands don’t see it even in their own territory, then how can us who live in the land… right? ahahahaha

            Unlike how I drove this vehicle a while ago, this time it’s gentle and relaxing. I could sleep in any minute by now. It’s so complacent and satisfying that it makes all my worries be gone for a while. I could sense the cold breeze that is coming from the sea that I don’t usually feel and it’s so refreshing.

            The dark blue sea seemed so calm and so serene as moonlight touches it that made it sparkle aesthetically. Small waves came crashing softly towards our vehicle that shakes it a little as if it’s rocking us making us feel more comfortable.

            The whole surrounding is so dark and only the three moons above us give us light in this silent space, only the sound of these waves resound all over. I love it. I didn’t know that the sea is as gentle as this, it’s so homely and restful. I’m like regaining all my strength that I have lost during the challenge that we just completed.

            This might take us for a while which is in so much favor with me. The Air Empire is quite far from here, it just looked near in the map, so I would enjoy and make the most out of staying here in this wide and convenient space that accommodates us with so much pleasure before we leave it here for our team mission.

            Zexal is just doing his job as he sat calmly yet alert on that chair keeping eye on our way. He must be in great time enjoying the scenery in front of him as he misses his home under what he is seeing right now. He must feel so great as much as I do right now.

            Especially Kurezma right now, it’s the usual that she would experience things like this, and I know that. Everyone is having a good time in this adventure. I knew it’s not just a challenge that we have to pass to prove everyone that we are strong. It’s also a way to keep the stress out of us, and it’s incredible.
