CHAPTER XXXIII : A REMATCH

-Kurezma-

            So that got me thinking why they had that sudden closeness and they wouldn't tell me. And when i ask them, Kuzma would just give me a playful smirk and Ashtan would just change the topic as he gets nervous and restless all of a sudden that he can't look at me in the eye... what's wrong with them? There's something they're not telling me. 

            The match between the three of us turned nice though. I just wonder where did Nazif get that sudden sense of authority though, and that thing that Aisha was seeing. No one bothered to brought those topics up so i just set them aside and minded training.

            "Hey" Ashtan woke me up from my thoughts as he snapped his fingers right in front of me

            "Oww" i snapped out of it and turned to him immediately the moment i regained my composure

            "You were spacing out all of a sudden, are you ok?" he asked with full of concern upon his voice

            "Yea, i'm fine" i answered nodding my head and smiled at him "Let's continue" i invited him

            "What?" he asked with confusion within his voice as he pulled me to look at him

            "What's what?" i asked back to know what he means... oh right! this is not what we were talking about while ago

            "I thought we're resting first, you insisted..." he said reminding me of what i asked him before, i remember arguing with him about letting me rest

            "Yea, i mean let's continue walking... to where we'll be resting" i reasoned out as i smiled awkwardly meeting his confused gaze

-Aisha-

            "Try harder Aisha, i know you can do better than that!" Nazif screamed as he blocked my sword by his axe.

            "I am trying harder!" i screamed as i smashed my sword against his axe for the second time but he managed to block it again

            "Hey you can wound me if you want, be care-free" he said as he pierced his looks towards mine "But not a large and deep one, ok?" he said between his heavy breaths

            We are having a rematch right now, and i think i've been slow and incompetent the way he comments between my attacks. Of course i don't want to hurt him, i can't afford that. I'm not weak though, i just don't want to show off my skills since he's not an enemy.

            "Let's just stop this" he said as put down his hand holding his axe and pushed away my blade staff that was pointing towards him "And continue later, ok? you must be so tired right now" he said with a slight smile formed on his lips

            "Ok" i softly uttered as i walked next to him towards the spot where we usually rest ourselves

            "Hey, are you ok? You're spacing out ever since we stopped training" he poked me to snap out of it

            "Yea, i'm fine" i stated strongly proving him that i'm fine at all, we just sat down the moment we got here. This spot is so relaxing, the air ventilates this place well that it felt so cool and nice. It doesn't receive that much of a sunlight and the cloud right here felt so soft that it's almost like a pillow.

            "Are you sure? You don't seem like" he honestly said while checking my neck and forehead to see if i'm sick or what, then nodded to find out that i'm not "Tell me what's bothering you" he added

            "You" i shortly blurted to answer him out of nowhere that i didn't even had chance to prevent myself nor to take it back, i just stared at me waiting for me to continue

            "What's with me?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows but confusion and concern reflected in his peaceful face

            "I don't know" i just said not knowing what words i should put to describe what i am thinking right now

            "What? Just spill it out, ok? I'll be listening" he said with the sense of trying so hard to make himself sound so soft

            "You won't understand" i insisted upon telling him that made his eyebrows wiggled more and made himself look more confused having no idea what's going on right now

            "Then... then let me understand" he insisted too with a convincing tone mixed with so much care and concern, i can see it all in his eyes and in his firm lips

            "I don't understand it myself either" i sighed in defeat and looked down trying to hide my emotions from him... this concern really sends a lot of bewilderment to me, i don't know what's going on

            "Ok, i won't force you to tell me, but I am always here to listen to you, ok?" he said with a soft tone as he tapped my back lightly many times "Especially when it's because of me" he continued that magneted my gaze to him and see his soft expression

            "Thanks" i thanked him shortly and went on immediate silence and so is he, then i made myself comfortable upon where i was sitting despite the awkward moment between us but it didn't bother us at all and the silence helped us to ease the awkwardness that built up.

            "Hey Aisha, let's have a rematch" Kurezma said as she came walking towards us calling me, i looked up to her

            "All of a sudden?" Nazif asked for me and looked at me with a concerned look building up in his face

            "Yea sure, but what about Ashtan? or Kuzma?" i answered him as i returned her a question as well

            "There they are" she answered pointing them somewhere together and talking seriously about something again "Talking about something again, i bet it's the same topic as before, what do you think it is?" she continued with irritated but curios voice

            "Some man talk?" Nazif guessed himself as he let out a chuckle right after he spoke the word

            "Leave them alone, let's start?" Kurezma asked handing me my blade staff as she held her with her left hand... i think she's left handed, i somehow noticed it when she does things, they're same with Nazif

            "Shouldn't you be resting first?" Nazif asked me worriedly as he stopped me from getting on my feet

            "She was resting her head to your shoulders for a long time now, that'd be enough" Kurezma answered that made my cheeks burn hot... gosh, she noticed ahahahaha

            "Oh..." i heard Nazif gasped in shock that made me look at him as he bowed down getting his axe as a reason to look away

            "That's ok guys" Kurezma said teasingly implying us something as she winked at me with full of meaning

            "Let's just go, Nazif look out for us, in case something happens" I said and poked the both of them when i notice that Nazif had been looking down for a while and Kurezma is clouding her face with some silly looks

            Nazif signaled us asking if we are ready to start the dual between me and Kurezma. We were standing in opposite sides exchanging glances as we wait for Nazif to signal us again indicating for us to start. Kuzma and Ashtan just finished talking about something already that they came walking towards us to witness our match. 

            As they came nearer, i'm sure Kurezma and Nazif noticed their approach and turned to them for a while, i saw Kurezma's expression turned to a mix of playful, irritation, and suspicion but quickly regained her senses and turned to me.

            As we focused on each other, Nazif motioned his hands telling us that we could start already.

            I started running towards her with lots of confident as i spin my blade staff with my hand. This is going to be an exciting girl fight ahahahaha and i get to know what Kurezma is capable of in terms of battling. My eyes widen as she bolted up and rolled mid-air landing right in front of me. 

            And before i knew, she was already attacking me sending me strong and fast blades forced right through me and all i can do is to dodge its directions hardly catching up with the speed. I heard her scream softly each time she releases forceful swinging of her sword.

            I came into senses and accelerated as i swung my sword faster than what she's doing. I produced thunder into my blade staff to add more power and quickly struck her with lightning. She gasped as it reached her but she was quick to roll out and avoid my attack. 

            I can see determination plastered evidently on her face. I smirk as i observed how her fist clenched her sword holding it tight. I paused for a while but i shouldn't have done that, in split seconds she vanished into thin air and appeared right behind me and kicked me that made me fall off the ground. 

            I fastly grabbed myself and back flipped to stand and face her. She attacked me with her sword the moment i was spinning to get on my feet, i kicked her sword to prevent it from hitting me. I successfully stood on my feet and blocked her sword every time she tries to hit me.

            I jumped backwards to regain composure. She raised her sword upwards and i noticed that it glowed bright red which eventually emitted fire. As her sword roared with a blazing fire, she pointed it to me and launched it. I held my sword with both my hands in between as fast as i could and motioned it into circle before the fire could even get me. 

            I created a portal which made her fire traveled through space and opened right behind her which caused to hit her instead of me. She screamed in both shock and pain that made her to drop her knee on the ground gaining support from her sword that she pierced on the ground.

            She immediately looked up towards me with her deathly glare implying us that she's fine. She produced water right from her hand and poured herself maybe to ease the burning sensation that she must have felt due to the attack. She pointed her hand towards me attack me the second time around but with water this time. 

            I prepare myself to make another portal but the water moved swirling all around that gave me hard time capturing it. She succeeds upon striking me with water that caused me to flip and dropped off. I grunted loudly the moment i meet the ground, i heard a noisy thud that i caused. 

            Before i could stand up, i felt something hitting my back, and gosh it felt so painful! I looked up and saw her hand where a vine came out that's making my back sore and ripped the cloth covering it. I picked up my sword from the ground and turned around to cut the vines that kept on hitting me.

            I quickly stood up and collected lots of electric power all over my body. I groaned loudly as it caused me pain as I continued doing it. The moment I reached a very strong electric shock, the whole place glowed bright caused by me, I begun striking her from where I am. 

            She kept on dodging my attacks making her no time attacking me. She jumped every direction she can go as I stuck her with almost concurrently. I saw her breath heavily due to weariness that I caused her. I paused for a moment and created five portals with my sword fast.

            It opened portals all around her, one on top, on her left and right, and on her front and back, making sure that she can't exit it. I struck the portal sending her the electricity from all her directions making her electrocuted that she can't even escape it. Her grunts went louder that I can hear her from where I am standing, she screamed like she's in great pain. 

            I noticed Nazif, Kuzma, and Ashtan moved a little with worry in their faces. I smirked at the thought of her losing, but as I thought of it, she stopped screaming as she slipped down from the portals and made her exit. Due to much energy collision, the electricity exploded. The explosion had no other place to damage but to get through the portals and that was the time I got hit by so much force.

            I was forcefully thrown out somewhere, I heard Kurezma's heavy footsteps getting louder. I looked up and saw her running towards me without her sword.

            "Get up" she uttered as she pulled me up and pushed me away that made me drop myself again. Gosh! she's so strong, she's very far from the Kurezma that I knew to be very weak months ago.

            I quickly composed myself and ran towards her and gave her a very strong kick. I hit her leg that made her knee fall to the ground again. I slapped her forehead that made her groan hardly and fell backwards. She managed to stand up and gave me a fast knife hand which she quickly repeated many times making her groan softly. 

            But I just did a low and rising blocks to prevent her from hitting me. I raised my right foot and bolted a side kick that hit her left shoulder. She screamed in pain and made her drain some energy to sustain her. I purposely hit her in her left arm knowing that she's a left handed that she won't be able to hit me as loud with her right arm.
