CHAPTER XXIII : THE CRIME

-Ashtan-

            "Why does that suddenly appear to us?" Nazif asked in so much curiosity between his chills, that monstrous thunder beast can literally send intense shivers down to your spine. It looked so scary as hell that your soul would forcibly escape your body upon seeing it. I can't even move anything from my body due to shock and fear.

            "Viggo is the Thunder Guardian, the Legendary Beast of the Thunder Tribe, I've read that...." Aisha initiated but she stopped to think for a while

            Before she could even continue what she was about to say to continue, Viggo suddenly hopped somewhere and fully disappeared from the dark that we can't see him anymore.    

    Then someone just walked slowly in front of us as footsteps begun sounding while laughing themselves out in a malicious manner, there are three of them if I'm not mistaken. It's hard for us to recognize them because they're wearing hooded cloaks that is big enough to cover half of their faces. But I'm very sure they're not Truenos or someone as welcoming as us, I haven't seen them around here before, their presence wasn't so familiar at all, I just had the hunch that they're not one of us. 

    Each of us has discernment pertaining to one another if we're of the same tribe. Right now, I feel different.

            "Viggo a-appears to..... s-s-someone to w-warn.... them" Aisha continued as her voice cracked trembling as she turned herself towards the unknown visitors right before us

            "Why didn't you say earlier?" Nazif asked hysterically, they're so afraid right now, I looked at Kurezma standing beside me who couldn't talk or move at all. I tried to move my hand to find hers then I quickly grasped it tight the moment I laid my hand on it. I held her tight telling her to calm down.

            I don't understand why this is happening to us. Who are they? Why are they here? What do they want? They're scaring us

            "Who are you and what do you want?" I bravely voiced out, I made sure that my voice wouldn't crack so that it won't make them think that we're easy targets. They're probably not bullies, because first of all there are no bullies in our place. Not even mobs or whatever, because I guarantee, there are no people here in Thunder Tribe that scares other people.

    I heard one of them laugh in sinister as I asked, maybe it's the one in the middle. I'm still holding Kurezma's hand as of now, yet her hand is very cold, she's really afraid or whatever, I don't know, but I don't want her to be afraid.... not on my watch. I hope these guys won't hurt us, especially Kurezma who's under my care right now.

            "You don't need to know" the one in the middle spoke. His voice is deep and husky, it's quite intimidating. He smirked as he spoke his words "We came from afar, is that how you welcome visitors?" he asked with a sinister tone, he's devilish

            "You didn't come here properly dumber... you didn't even introduce yourselves, and now you're expecting the heck out of us to welcome you?" I asked him back, which made him laugh crazily... gosh he's scary but a little dumb. His laugh echoed the whole place bringing a frightening ambiance, it's so sinister you wouldn't even want to hear

            "Shut up" the one on the left shouted loudly as he raised his right hand pointing to our direction

            "Stop" the one in the middle shoved his hand drastically preventing him from doing something or whatever. They both put their hands down simultaneously and just stared at us blankly for a while

            "What are we gonna do with them?" the one in the right spoke asking his colleagues 

            "They're just kids, they can't do anything, they're just weak" the center man answered, how dare he say that in front of us

            "Kids? They're just our age" the one on the right exclaimed complaining as he turned his head to face the one in the middle

            "And we're not weak" I added as I quickly struck a weak lightning in front of them avoiding to hit them by just using my eyes. Yes, I didn't move anything, just my eyes. I thought that's enough to scare them away.

            "Wrong move" the center man uttered and ran towards us

            I quickly grabbed my sword and looked at my friends, they're still frightened, can they fight like this?

            "Wrong move, this is our territory, not yours, watch yourself" I answered threatening them as I positioned myself to give him a kick as hard as I could when he went near me, he flew backward but composed himself quickly.

            "Is that all you've got?" he asked and fired me with... fire? are they from the Fire Republic? Gosh thankfully I managed to avoid it

            "Fire?" Nazif questioned the same as I had in mind, out of shock, he defended himself using his ax from the other one

            "Yea fool, don't you recognize?" the one fighting him asked sarcastically

            "What are Yanars doing here?" Aisha asked as she fought the other one too, I just held Kurezma behind me waiting for the other guy to do something (Yanars - used to refer people from the Fire Republic) while I stood calmly and fearlessly not wanting to back out

            "You're trespassing, you know this is bad" I shouted to frighten them, I gave them the dangerous look that I barely show anyone

            "Who cares? Foolish rules" the center man jumped towards me to attack me as fast as he could, but I just swung my sword and electrocuted him. Unfortunately, he's just too fast to avoid it, even faster than me.

            He fired again towards me but I just blocked it with my sword. It's hard to fight when I have someone behind me. And his fires are like.... red-purple-black, what kind of fire is that? So dark... Strange.....

            "Stop this at once" I exclaimed threatening them for the second time around as I shoved his fire strongly away from us then back to him. I can hear clanging and clashing caused by Aisha and Nazif from their opponents, even some crashing that was all caused by us. I just stood there blocking these guy's attacks while waiting for them to stand back.

    Something scrunched from Nazif's directions which means something crashed as they damaged something. Now I don't like what's happening

            This guy blasted me with fire again, but still, I managed to block it.

            "I said stop!" I growled angrily and struck the three of them with lightning simultaneously knocking the three of them instantly. I heard them grunting in pain as the lightning hit them crushing them to the ground. They dropped themselves down and backed off as they went backward in mere defeat as they assisted each other up.

            "Go home" I heard Kurezma say with a tone of seriousness, threatening, and anger. It's my first time hearing her like that, she used to be playful and funny. Well, I haven't talked to her that much before, so I don't know ahahahaha but still she's different now

            "Scaring us away, huh? little girl" the guy on the left arrogantly called her little girl which I think made her even angrier because she stepped forward without minding anything

            "My foot" I whispered at her but she didn't even give me attention. She didn't mind anything that she didn't notice that he just stepped on my foot ahahahaha goodthing that didn't hurt a lot

            "What will you do? Huh? You just hid behind that guy the whole time like a scaredy cat" the guy on the center mockingly uttered. How dare he, he doesn't even know how powerful Kurezma is

            Without saying a word, Kurezma suddenly glowed bright and struck them with lightning stronger than I did before. I heard loud zapping as Kurezma electrified the three of them. I'm sure she cautiously did that because that kind of lightning could kill someone especially those who are not Trueno whom doesn't have much electric tolerance, but these three just dropped on the ground gasping for their breath, good for them. Kurezma is smart not to show them her most.

            "I said go home. Next time you attack someone make sure you're strong enough and make sure you're in the right place" she stated. The three of them just stood up again, their hoods are still on that's why until now we couldn't see their faces

            "I wasn't hiding her, I'm just preventing her to end you" I boastfully told them and laughed arrogantly, well I wasn't actually doing that, I just said that to scare them away again ahahahahaha I think it's my turn to brag now

            I heard Kurezma emitted something but it's quite inaudible for us to hear. I didn't understand anything of it, nor even heard it clearly. I wonder what it is. A color of dark blue outlined their bodies after Kurezma whispered something. I noticed her eyes changed in color too, the same color that outlined these three. What is this? What in the world of Azhakkstadd is she doing? So unusual

            "Begone" the moment she said that the three of them suddenly disappeared into thin air. We looked everywhere but they were out of sight. Nazif ran forward making sure if they're still there

            "They're not in our clouds anymore" Kurezma notified us, as we just looked at her dumbfounded. She walked forward without looking at us, what happened to her? She might be pissed because of what those guys told her, but no, it's a lot different, plus she's not the kind of person who's easy to be offended by.

            "Hey wait" I called and caught up to her, she didn't mind me and continued walking, Nazif and Aisha also did the same thing I did, but they just waited for Kurezma to speak

            "What happened to you?" I asked her, she just looked at me with a sweet smile as if reassuring me to stay calm.

            "What did you do to them?" Nazif asked too, but neither of us received our answers

            "Let's just go home, we'll inform our principal tomorrow about the sudden attack" Kurezma coldly uttered that made me shiver, she's totally different today.
