CHAPTER XIX : INFUSED WITH THUNDER

-Kurezma-

"No, it's ok, it won't kill me though unless you wanted to kill me and put poison on it" he answered as he laughed but there's no sign of pain anymore "this isn't too deep anyway" he assured me

"Of course, I won't... How are you now?" I snapped and looked at him, well, the wound is larger than I thought... I started from his calf to his shin, it almost surrounded his lower leg near his knees

"Feeling better than a while ago" he answered while Aisha's covering his wound with a bondage

"I'm really sorry," I said and went near him as Aisha finished covering his wound, she sat aside and packing up the things she used in helping Kuzma

"You can't bully her anymore dude, now that she can possibly wound you" Aisha interrupted in between her laughter as she fixed the little bag

"Yea I'm a little scared now" Kuzma added and laughed out loud "Ouch!" he exclaimed "It's still painful" he groaned as he felt the pain "especially the kick during the explosion, that was insanely fast," he said as he laughed

"Don't overdo yourself, do the moving later" Nazif reminded him an assisted him to sit himself down

"You were quite strong Kurez, I didn't expect for you to show up like that" Ashtan praised me and tapped my back as he gave me a sweet smile, aww that helped me ease my worries

"Sure is, it's actually my first time being wounded by someone here in school," Kuzma said as he sighed while leaning towards Nazif

"Oh yea, I didn't even have the chance to do it" Nazif agreed with him and looked at me proudly

"Neither do I, I can't even lay my blades on him during sparrings" Ashtan added himself, I just breathed deeply and laid myself comfortably on the ground.

"Probably because I told him not to be so harsh on me" I answered them and looked at them worriedly

"Yea, I did what you said, to be gentle, but not gentle enough to let you wound me" Kuzma answered and looked at me intently

"What do you mean?" I asked him as bewilderment crossed my face

"I mean, I made it easier for you, but not as easy as you thought... I struggled you know, that means you're simply strong" he explained himself with his bright smile

"Ok" I just said and smiled in relief "Thanks" I shortly said and then stood up to drink water. They also stood up and Nazif helped Kuzma to stand up then assisted him to walk together with Ashtan "That's what you get when you bother me while I'm eating though" I joked and laughed out loud as they laughed with it.

-Kuzma-

    Kurez was amazing a while ago. She fought strong, I mean, she just mixed swordsmanship with martial arts. Her technique of using both are nice, I didn't know she could do that. She was amazing tumbling around ahahahaha Her fighting styles are amazing too, no wonder she'll become strong in no time. 

    Well, best students are taught by the best teachers, so... I'll take credit for this ahahahaha just kidding. Seriously speaking, her fighting skills just dramatically rose, she just became strong and brave in an instant, I didn't actually expect that. And that thundershock, what was that for? Did she do that? I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure it's not me.     Sooner or later she'll be known for her exceptional skills, just like me.

    My wound still hurts though, but it's bearable. She just wounded my lower leg circling it. I hope it heals fast so that I can walk properly. If I can't walk until tomorrow, I'm afraid I have to be absent and stay in the Healing center all day, or two... 

    But no worries, I heal fast. It's just that, I won't be here tomorrow, I'll miss another surprise from Kurezma's power. I wonder what'll happen tomorrow, or what power and strength she will achieve...hmmm....

"Hey, are you ok?" Ashtan asked and sat near me, he's holding his water bottle and is now closing it, probably he's done drinking

"Yea, I'm fine, I just thought that I won't be here tomorrow because of this" I initiated and looked at him "So I'd like you to lead the training tomorrow, and teach them techniques, ok?" I requested him, he just nodded in response then smiled at me, good thing he's here, I know I can trust my sister with him

"Sure" he then opened his mouth to utter that word, I smiled too as I got the answer I want... that's nice

"And make sure to take care of my sister," I asked him an errand, his eyebrows just met each other implying me to explain "I mean you should pay her a closer look, she grows every day, you know" I explained myself which brightened his expression 

"Of course," he said and chuckled shyly as he scratched the back of his head

"I wonder what will blow your minds tomorrow" I sighed and gazed at Kurez who's holding her sword and talking with Nazif and Aisha on the grass not far from us "Why don't you teach them using their weapons with the thunder right now?" I reminded Ashtan since it's still early for dismissal. I'll just sit here and watch them as they do it. I already know how to do it anyway.

"Oh yea, I should" he snapped out and jumped up. He grabbed his sword then ran towards the others.

-Ashtan-

"Hey" I called them while they're sitting down the grass comfortably, nice timing ahahahahaha

"Hey, how's Kuzma doing?" Kurezma greeted me back and checked his brother, I just smiled at her telling her that he's totally fine sitting himself under a tree

"He's just fine, and he told me to proceed with the lesson for this afternoon," I told them, so they just stood up and went further to the field.

"Ok, so what are you going to teach us?" Nazif asked as they all stood up probably to prepare for training

"Remember when Kuzma told you to use your weapon with thunder?" I reminded him with excitement on my tone and my eyebrow raised, then he gave me a grin "That's our lesson for today" I continued

"Wow, let's get started" He exclaimed as he literally jumped due to excitement while carrying his ax

    We went to the middle of the field where it's usually safer when using such electricity, you know, less damage. I stood up in front of them holding my sword and started teaching them. We were taught how to use thunder on our first year, then basic self-defense on our second year, and weaponry on our third year. 

    So in our fourth year, it's all about mastering it all. We're not taught about infusing thunder with self-defenses or weapons, so we learned it ourselves. Sometimes you have to learn things yourself, and not rely upon the others, because there are no other people who can help you except yourself.

"First, I'll show you what it's like to combine thunder with my sword" I initiated as I held my sword up in front of me, then started concentrating. 

    Well, actually I can do this without meditating already, I can just simply produce thunder with my sword as my rod, but since I'm teaching them, and probably it's their first time so I have to make sure that they won't miss every single detail. 

     Thunder started electrifying my sword after a couple of minutes, it zapped from my hand until the tip of my sword. My sword just totally raged with electricity, and I can feel much power flowing from it. 

    Dimians must have known that we, Truenos will be using this technique. Or if someone told them so. But weapons that are made for the Thunder Tribe are made of Silver, Copper, and Gold. They did a great job in making its blades sharper, but aside from that these metals are very conductive to electricity. 

    Especially silver, because it contains a higher number of movable atoms or so-called free electrons. In order for the material to be a good conductor, the electricity passed through it must be able to move the electrons. The more free electrons in a metal, the greater its conductivity. That's the simple fact about it.

    Metals are commonly good conductors of electricity due to the fact that vibrations are passed on quickly to each electron as particles are packed very closely. They also obtain a large number of free electrons, which I have mentioned earlier. They can move freely, they don't have to orbit around their metal atoms, as a result, electricity travels a lot faster colliding with both atoms and other electrons. 

    However, Dimians wisely chose Silver, Copper, and Gold for us because these metals ranked the top three in most conductive metals to electricity, as silver ranked first, followed by copper, then gold. Mainly because it has something to do with their temperatures, impurities, crystal structure and phases, electromagnetic fields, and frequencies. 

    I don't know any further information about those, how did that happen, what does it mean, or how is it even possible... I don't actually know, leave it to the Dimians. They're the only ones who know.

"Dagger thunder blast" I uttered as I waved my sword towards a large pole near us. My sword electrocuted that pole and made it bent a little opposite from our direction. Well, maybe that's how powerful it is.

"So powerful, how do you do that?" Nazif asked with astonishment both his face and his tone

"Yea, teach us" Kurezma stated excitedly and picked her sword from the ground where she laid it down. I just smiled at them with an assurance that they'll sure learn it in no time.
