-Ashtan-
The Ordo king ordered us a three-day self-training. He was not present during that day as well as the officer that he asked to train us. Maybe they were off to somewhere, I heard they went to the Fairy Kingdom, yet I don’t know why. But I don’t care what the reason is, it’s none of my business.
During those days, I learned so much about myself which I didn’t think that I will learn at first. That’s why you should not be contented with your capabilities and think that what you learn is already enough. You should always put in mind that the world is such a big big world and you are just a small person who knew nothing.
I didn’t know that I’d grow even stronger as I participate here. Now, I can say I am proud of myself, and even Kurezma. Last time she went off asking each of us about our power like she’s curious the whole time. I mean, she shouldn’t be asking me anymore, she lived in the Thunder Tribe and learned our ways.
There’s no way she’d be clueless about our power. Yet she still asked me to teach her everything I know about electricity. And so I thought her everything I know just like last time when I have to teach her. That’s not all, she went asking everyone, every element, and every knowledge that she wanted to know.
When you wanted to learn, you disregard everything you have learned before and look forward for what you will learn now. I mean, don’t forget about what you learn already, I just said that you should keep your head down low and set aside your pride then be open to new things. Just know that you don’t know things.
That’s one thing I like about her. Though she’s the strongest her, she acts as if she knew nothing and that she has a lot of things to learn on her way. That’s an attitude that a person must have when they want to learn. I was so amazed at her when she started to learn the power of the Fairies, the Psychics, the Sorcerers, and the Dragons.
Yet it seems like the Sorcerer isn’t that welcoming ahahaha I don’t know, I don’t want to say it but there’s something about him that is so not likeable. Is it because he’s a Sorcerer, the tribe who was once an enemy of Azhakstadd? But now, it’s much more different, or maybe because he’s simply a sorcerer.
The one who uses dark magic, some sinister feeling I sense from him. But I try to ignore that, he came here for peace though. And he came here to help as one of the tribes who united with us, and a person who wanted to eradicate darkness all over our world.
Earlier this morning, after we had our warm up activities, the Ordo king told us to have a team training. Just like what we had in Thunder Tribe, how I go close with my friends, Kuzma, Aisha, Nazif, and especially Kurezma. This would be a nice way to create bond within us to avoid awkwardness in everything we do.
The reasons are the same with what the Trueno Chieftain said last time about team training. Each individual has unique gifts, and talents and skills, which I witnessed this past few days. I admit they were all so strong. That is why we have to collaborate with each other because if one’s strength is combined with others, then it would be great.
This means a sense of unity, of enthusiasm for common interests and responsibilities, as developed among a group of persons closely associated in a task. Teamwork is also the oil that makes the team work. It can enable smoother movement towards targets, can prolong forward momentum, and can help teams to overcome obstacles.
It doesn’t mean everybody doing the same thing or everybody being able to do each other’s jobs. It’s more a means to a synergistic way of working, where the sum is greater than the parts. If properly managed, teamwork maximizes strengths, bringing out the best in each team member.
These specific, possibly unique individual strengths are then complimented by the strengths of others, or of the team as a unit. And that is what I kept on saying earlier that combined strength and abilities of each of us will make us even more powerful so we can stand a chance against our enemies.
Great ideas don’t come from lone geniuses. I admit, I sometimes can hardly use tactics when I fight, so I needed someone to assist me, just like how we need Astral, Dafrosa, Ran, Hazol who were so smart, and the others like Cymone who is so strategic. Each of us has different styles, and adding everything up would mean high chances of winning.
Diverse perspectives help you come up with winning innovations. Just as I have said, this is where difference of experience, opinion, and perspective come in. Diversity is a well-documented pathway to unlocking new opportunities, overcoming new challenges, and gaining new insights.
Teamwork also makes us happier. It’s true, it’s so boring working alone. At least we have someone we can turn to if we needed someone. And I tell you there are so many things that we can get from happily and positively working with others. And this is not from me, it’s from the king of Know-all, the Ordo King.
So listen to him when he speaks.
After telling us about having a team training and discussing with us some things about it, he then divided us into two groups. Unfortunately, I wasn’t in Kurezma’s team anymore, but it’s fine. We have Ran, Sohel, Astral, Thresh, Joriz, Dafrosa, and Cymone.
We have the Fairy, the Sorcerer, Air, Fire, Poison, Earth, and the Mortal… and also the Electric. That’s already fair ahahahaha at least we got one more person than them. They only had seven people whereas we had eight people, because there were fifteen of us.
Right now, we’re getting to know more about each other first so that we could have a peaceful training without feeling so much spaces between us. I really don’t want to say it nut Sohel is really so aloof. He doesn’t talk too much, maybe it’s just his personality. I don’t know.
I don’t want to be judgmental here, and I don’t want to think bad either ahahaha. Anyway, let’s just divert our thoughts into something else.
Kurezma went to me after hearing our groups. She was somehow disappointed that we’re not in the same team. But I just told her that it’s fine, and that it’s not about the team. It’s not that we won’t see each other again. She just smiled at me and told me that let’s just grow together in this training.
After my team and I talked with each other about some things, we immediately started training that was led by Ran. Since he’s from a higher tribe, we gave him our trust to lead us. Though it’s not about the tribe, we just trusted him to lead us since he knows things better than us.
“We kept on training every day, it’s not like you guys don’t know what to do” Ran said after we enhanced our combat skills sparring with the partner we chose earlier for the training. We all sat down to have our water break
“It’s just the same as usual, but right now, we have to train not only ourselves but also others. We also have to strengthen our connection, about how we rely with others and how we synchronize with others” I agreed with Ran as I added the essence of teamwork.
“Right now, it’s not just about us, and us alone. But it’s also about everyone around you who fights alongside with you, and even those people who rely on you” Sohel added right after I finished
“Yea we keep doing it every day, there’s no way we don’t get strong… but I do still hope” Cymone said “I’m the only one who don’t have powers here so I should train myself more, you help me Ran” he added as he grinned at him
“But I’m the weakest…” Dafrosa cut herself in
“Don’t worry Ran’s going to help us all” Sohel said right before Dafrosa could speak again
“And not just him, we’re here too. We are going to help each other as team, okay?” I agreed with Sohel as he smiled at me
“Don’t worry guys, I learned a lot from my home country, I’ll help you out… and you will help me too” Ran smilingly said reassuring everyone “And all of us here has our own weaknesses, it’s not just the same but we all sure do have. That’s why our team is made so that we can overcome it with the help of each other” he continued
“We are each other’s keeper” Astral said cutting herself in the discussion with full of determination “I look forward growing strong with all of you” she added
Is it just me? Or this discussion felt so dramatic ahahaha but whatever, at least all of us are agreeing with this
“Thank you guys, I really look forward becoming strong with all your help” Dafrosa said as she drank her water
After that short discussion, we came back to the field together to resume our training. Ran, as usual would supervise us and tells us what to do on how we could do our work better. He’s like our coach telling us what to do so that we could do something that will improve ourselves.
