CHAPTER XXI : ELECTROCUTION

-Kuzma- 

    I felt the thunderbolts electrifying all over my body as it centered right into my chest. It's sending a lot of vibrating feels that became so heavy right in the middle of my chest down to my limbs. I can feel the electricity shocking me the way I'm feeling it's power and how it energizes me. 

    Then the tingling sensation slowly traveled from my chest up to my shoulders without missing any step. I could feel it tickling me as it flowed to my arms and my armpits that not even a single part of my skin flopped to be reached. Little by little the tingling sensation walked through my arms as if they're having their wedding march due to its slowness. 

    I can feel the electricity growing strong as it bridges my elbows down to my forearms until it reaches my wrists. It is thoroughly touching every space that gets on its way. The tingling sensation subsided as the electricity grew stronger and stronger as it landed to my palms which cupped my sword intertwining both my hands into it. 

    My hands felt hot and powerful, I can sense a large amount of energy stored into it. I suddenly felt a lot of energy rumbling in unfathomable motion in my hands. I know it'll just explode any minute by now or so. I slowly opened my eyes wide and looked at my burned red hands, but I wasn't feeling any pain at all. My hands are just feeling so strong. 

    The sky started to darken in night blue all of a sudden and the thunder rumbled wildly up above us. Yet we weren't alarmed at all, since we're used to it already, besides we're Truenos after all, we control the element of Thunder. And then suddenly a large amount of lightning directly struck my sword right from the skies. I felt my hands shaking as I tried hard to receive all the power I'm struggling to receive  right now with all the strength that I have at this very  moment. 

    My hands are shakily gripping my sword tightly but I flinched with the thought that I can't handle it. I'm still that weak because of my wound that is on the process of healing. Now my arms started to tremble as electricity kept on entering and flowing right through my sword with no stability and control. Well, it's very important to always remember not to doubt your powers.

    My eyes widened as my teeth crushed each other and started grunting loudly. This is very bad, I already reminded myself not to doubt my own power, and now it's becoming uncontrollably strong. My grunts began to get louder, and I felt like my teeth were gonna break soon. I am losing control of the situation. 

    I screamed faintly in pain as I felt blood dramatically dripping from my wound for the second time around.. How could this be? How did it all gone wrong? I was doing it smooth a while ago, how did it suddenly go rough? I'm so messed up right now!

    I forcibly let go of my sword as I felt that I can't handle it anymore. My hands and legs are in extreme pain, my head felt like it is about to explode, and my body feels really painful,  tired, and hot. I gasped when my sword dropped clanging on the ground. I started to breathe heavily and put my hand on my chest. This is really painful. Sweat and tears covered my whole face blurring my sight and ran all over my body giving the uncomfortable feeling.

    "Hey! are you alright?" I heard someone shouting asking me worriedly and felt a hand tapping my back gently, I think it's Ashtan upon hearing his voice, but I can't clearly see him

    "Y-yea, I'm a-a-all... Good..." I answered in between my breaths, I kept on panting until I already caught my breath and somehow stabilizing it. I felt air ventilating over me, probably someone is... wait, it's Kurez with her bare hands... she's using her power... I'm not sure if I'm hallucinating or what

    "Are you sure?" a female voice asked me, it's Aisha for sure... I just nodded as I took a deep breath, thanks to Kurezma's air, now I can breathe well

"Your wound is bleeding!" Ashtan blurted out as he noticed it. The moment he mentioned that, someone just touched my wound with their hand, and it felt warm. It made me feel relaxed

"That would help, but not totally," Kurezma said reassuring me, I just sighed in relief not feeling the pain anymore, but I can still feel my wound in there

"What did you do?" Nazif asked with his most amazed tone, he chuckled a little as he moved my leg a bit parting it to check 

"I just eased the pain, but not totally heal it" Kurezma answered, but how did she do that, she's not an Alsumu (used to refer people of Toxin Domain) Only Alsumus know how to heal other with just their hands

"With just your hands?" Nazif asked again, still carrying the amazement in his voice

"You knew I could control the other elements, so what's to be surprised about?" she asked back making us realize and understand "But I'm not yet good though, that's why I just eased the pain but not made it gone, I still need practice" she continued explaining

"Anyway, are you sure you're fine now, big bro?" She asked pertaining to me, I still can't see things clearly I still have no strength to raise my arms and wipe it, and speaking of, my arms are feeling a little numb right now

"Yea, I do now, thanks" I answered her with a faint smile on my lips assuring her that I am now, thanks for their quick aid  "Can you please wipe my face," I asked them, I bet they noticed that it's sweaty now. Someone wiped my face and my neck carefully with a towel and I can still feel Kurezma's hand fan, literally a hand "thanks" I uttered, I saw Ashtan holding the towel with his left hand, so probably he's the one who did it.

"Why did you do that? You knew you'd screw up, you're not in condition" Ashtan told me with his serious expressions stating his point, I just smiled at him telling him it's fine

"I just tried" I shortly answered and chuckled lowly due to both tired and embarrassment 

"Yea, you shouldn't do that next time" Nazif reminded me, thanks to God Malikstar they're fast enough to be here, otherwise I'd faint and Malikstar knows what will happen next ahahahaha 

"That was quite strong for a weak body" Aisha agreed with them and started assisting me to sit properly. My hands are still feeling numb, I can move it but not totally. And I can't move my leg properly, I don't want to trigger my wound again, it might squirt blood out of it for the third time.

-Ashtan-

    We got startled by the lightning that struck our location so suddenly, and it's not usual. And I got even more startled when I recognized the one getting hit by it. From the looks of it, it seemed so unstable, so I hurried storming to where the lightning hit, there sat Kuzma, who can't move himself due to the explosion. 

    It wasn't so strong to electrocute him, it's just not stable to be handled. This guy just pulled off something when his body isn't in good terms of handling it. He's very weak as of now, but his hard-headedness still tried doing so. 

    We immediately ran to him and checked if he's fine, the thunder quickly subsided so I immediately tapped him to see if he's still conscious or what. He responded though. Kurezma just let out air through her hands, that's amazing. She also eased Kuzma's pain when we saw his wound bleed again. Good thing he's all just fine.

"Hey I said I'm alright, you guys should go back there and continue what you're doing" Kuzma insisted trying to push us away and resume training

"Ok, just promise us, you won't do anything that'll endanger you, ok?" Kurezma asked him in her serious tone, he just nodded with a smile telling us that he's not doing it again. 

"I heard what happened," someone from behind us said, we all turned around to find out who it was. It's the nurse from the healing center, based on his looks "I went here as soon as I received the call" she continued plastering a sweet smile on her lips, she looked beautiful, she must be at the same age as Kuzma, probably, or older.

     I wonder who called her, my eyebrows moved with confusion which she might have noticed as she motioned her head pointing at someone from the field. It's another student who witnessed what happened to us. I just gave her a slight smile then turned to Kuzma again. Thanks God Malikstar for that.....

"Yea, I wounded my brother hours ago, and now he's struck by lightning" Kurezma explained, the nurse suddenly shifted from lively to shocked. She looked worried as she gasped with her hands covering her mouth.

"Hours ago? how come you didn't call me immediately?" she asked hastily and went to check Kuzma as fast as she could, and his wound "So you already did something to it, but still, this wound is quite large," she said as she looked at it, it's covered by bondage but you can still say that it's really large

"Sorry about that. Anyway, you see he got struck by lightning because he got weakened by that wound, and still tried to do it, it made him unstable... that's why" I told the nurse that is looking at Kuzma

"See? that's why you should've called me sooner" she said and looked at Kuzma's face, I looked at him too, he's just having his neutral face. Not pained nor guilty ahahaha I wonder what he's thinking 

"It's not that bad though, he's just weak at the moment, so I need to bring him to the healing center so that I can watch over him while you guys train, ok?" she told us and assisted Kuzma to stand up, he can walk though but he still needs the nurses assistant

"Do you want us to help you bring him?" Nazif volunteered for help as he assisted Kuzma to stand up too

"No, I'm fine you should continue training now, I can handle this, and besides, the healing center is just near" Nurse kindly rejected Nazif's offer and walked to the grass

"Take care," Kurezma told her before she pulled out something from her pocket

"You too" She talked back and smiled at us. She pulled out something from her pocket and threw it mid-air. It's a lightning transporter, where she entered with Kuzma, probably to fastly get to the healing center. So that's what she meant when she said the healing center is just near ahahahahaha

    That's another skill of Truenos too, to use the transporter to travel both space and time. Unlike the Lofts (used to refer people of the Air Empire) who can just vanish through thin air as they travel both space and time. But using that is dangerous too, only those who are skilled enough to use it can use it. If you're not skilled enough then you might end up stuck somewhere in space or nowhere in time, I don't exactly know where.

"So Kuzma's probably resting himself now, shall we proceed?" I asked them minutes after the nurse and Kuzma just vanished. They just picked their swords up and walked with me towards the center field.
