CHAPTER X : EAGLET BECOMING AN EAGLE

-Ashtan-

     It really is nice to see how Kurezma embraces things being taught to her. I can see how she improves swiftly. She's like a flash of lightning who just bolted so sudden. But at least I can say that our eaglet is now becoming a keen eagle.

"Hey you're doing good" I approached her, she looked at me with a smiling face then i sat beside her. We're already done training for this day, we're just resting ourselves before we get home. I went to her holding my water bottle.

"Thanks, you're amazing too" she replied, she moved a little to give me more space. She's wiping some sweat that's falling from her face down to her neck. 

    This girl has her beautiful skin tone, she's not that light though, at least it suits her. She's not beautiful though ahahahaha just kidding

"You're a fast learner too, I wonder why you haven't learned that immediately. You should be very strong by now" I added then she smiled again in reply. I saw her shook a little upon what she heard but immediately composed herself.

"Gee thanks, I'm actually not, that's why I'm this dumb until now" she shyly answered, I saw how she bit her lower lip out of embarrassment then smiled bitterly without looking at me but boy... she's cute when she does that ahahahaha

"No, I don't think you are. Seriously, you're pretty strong" I negated her, I added emphasis to the word 'pretty' and that's when she looked at me with her confused looks. 

    She must've not understood me, but so do I. It's not so me to give out some genuine compliments over someone I just got along with.

"Yea, just because the one teaching me is strong too, that's why," she said playfully and winked at me, well...that's good to know, but I wonder why she didn't become like this when Kuzma's the one teaching her and started learning when I took turns.

"Kuzma's strong too, how come you haven't learned a single move?" I jokingly asked her and let a low laugh which, I think she heard, why she laughed too

"Well, that guy actually is more of like, teasing me, rather than teaching me. That's what he always does" she said in between her laughs, she sounds cute when she laughed. I raised one of my eyebrows then added a teasing smile

"Is he?" I shortly asked then laughed as well, I've known these two for teasing each other. In fact, I envy them because I had no siblings, I'm just jealous of how happy they are. I often play with my cousins, I don't have that much of a friend.

"Yea, but don't get me wrong, I've learned things from him too... I still love him though he's like that" she clarified, she's still genuinely laughing, I clearly see how she's happy about it. 

"You looked so happy" I commented, she just looked at me and smiled brightly, now she looked cuter than a while ago

"Yea, aren't you too?" she agreed with me "You should talk more, especially with the ones you love, that'll make you extra happy" she explained to me and softly tapped my shoulder, she really is something. I just nodded with what she said and gave her a slight smile

"Seriously, that's the only thing we can do in this sorrowful world, be happy ourselves" she continued, well, she's correct. Knowing the fact that we live in a world that Happiness died a long time ago, it really is necessary. I remember my aunt used to tell me about her grandparents who used to socialize with other tribes before. 

    That they used to visit other tribes and explore the beautiful Azhakkstadd. But things didn't go well and now, we ended up like this. The world became imbalanced which caused the forces of nature to rage in anger.

"Oh then I should talk to you more," I said which made her popped her eyes. What's with her? She looked weird with that

"What? I mean, you're a jolly person, you just lighten up the mood, so I guess you'll lighten mine too" I winked at her, seriously, what's happening to me? I just like talking to her

"Ah ahahaha I see" she blurted then laughed "Anyways, let's get home already," she said then stood up and went to get her things. I did what she did too.

-Aisha-

    It's really nice to see the weakest student gains her confidence and become stronger herself. I wonder what made her change. She used to be so clumsy before, and the fact that shocked me a while ago is that she doesn't know how to punch. But I see she's not that kind of a violent one. She can use her powers in rightful ways.

    I was more surprised about what she did yesterday. Is it just me, or she really had just produced very strong electricity that made our thunder beast move controllably and even fired at the pole? She is full of surprises all of a sudden. Plus she also had weird stuff going on with her. Just what is she?

     I used to read history books, which I mentioned before, but I haven't seen or read anything like her. I have this feeling that she isn't just a simple Trueno. And I witnessed how she moved a while ago, she's like she's fighting with strange power... her aura says so. I sensed a combatant from her. 

    Will she become a very strong Trueno who fights like she owns the battlefield? I'm a little nervous but I look forward to it. Now, we're still training to make her stronger.

    A while ago, Kurezma punches and kicks as if she can break a thick wall. Trust me, I can really sense it. Ashtan taught us basic fighting moves and attacks in order to help us practice more of our abilities. 

    Maybe tomorrow he'll be teaching us how to fight with weapons, and then combining thunder with what we've learned. Seriously, this is what we studied years ago, but I think it's also nice to learn it again to make us more efficient.

"Hey, let's head home already" Nazif called me as I was sitting from a bench just doing nothing. I looked at him with confusion upon my eyes, and he just gazed at me, as if waiting for me to talk, but I don't feel I have to answer him. So I stood up and walked towards the exit of the field.

"What's up?" he asked again as he ran to catch up with me, then I stopped to look at him 

"What's up with you?" I asked him back with a sarcastic tone "We don't live together, and we don't live near each other, why are you bothering me?" I continued and made him snap out of his thoughts and laughed hard

"That was funny, but I'm not following you though, it's just that there is only one way going in and out this place so we'll have to cross each other's paths for now," he said with a playful smile in his face, this fool, I never meant that

"I mean..." I mumbled but then I realized what he said was correct too, but I wanted to say is that why does he walk with me all the way out, he can just walk with his friends out there...ughhh never mind. I looked away from him and his whimsical smile, no, folly I mean

"What was that?" I asked catching up with me again, see? He kept on catching up with me when he shouldn't, that's what I wanted to ask. But I don't wanna waste time talking to this guy.

"Nothing just shut your mouth and let me go home peacefully" I snapped then walked faster to avoid his nonsense. I just live nearby, well, our community is not so big actually, so our houses and other buildings are just near each other. 

    We don't need vehicles to reach our destination, unlike in places like the Mortals live, or the Combatants, the Earth Kingdom, and so on who has a large territory, they really need vehicles to move around their place. Plus, we're Truenos, we can just run as fast as lightning wherever we want to go

"Goodbye, take care" I heard him as I went out from the battlefield

"You take care, fool" I greeted him back but I didn't bother to look at him. I forgot I should be walking home with Ashtan, we live together since my mom used to take care of him for some reason. I forgot to tag with Ashtan it's because of that Nazif who keeps on nagging me.

     I heard a sound of acceleration from somewhere and stopped right in front of me, it's Ashtan who ran fast to catch up with me. This is what I was talking about. We don't need to ride something, we can just do that here.

"What's with the hurry?" he asked then started walking as I passed through him

"Nothing, that Nazif again, keeps on guffing around, I got annoyed that I forgot about you" I answered him with a serious irritated look on my face as well as with my voice

"Oh" he said then laughed "That guy again, kept on talking about him" he added which made me stop and looked at him with my eyes widened

"No! Of course not! He keeps bothering me, and that's all" I defended myself from Ashtan's tricky thoughts "But where were you? Where have you been? I shouldn't have forgotten about you if you were just in sight?" I asked him to change our topic, it just makes me more disgusted with Nazif 

"I just had a little chat with Kurez" he said while walking without looking at me

"Oh" I shortly said getting back on him, he turned to me with a smirk

"Teasing me, huh?" he said between his smile which made him look a little scary, I know him, and I know that among the two of us, I'm the one who has a shorter temper so I'll be the one ending up disgusted. Plus he's just so good at teasing other people around his comfort zone.

"Nope," I said then hurried home to avoid his smirks and grins
