14 Into The Breech It was well past twilight and on to full dark by the time Raedrick and Povol crept their way down from their rocky perch and to the brigands’ camp site. Or what had been the brigands’ camp site. The fire still smoldered, the glowing coals and last remaining flames clearly visible in the blackness between the trees, but it had clearly not been tended in some time.
