By nine o’ clock that night, everyone had eaten again, near to bursting, and we were all getting ready for bed. The boys were still wide awake and hyper because of the sugar, as well as the fact that all six of us would go tree-hunting in the forest tomorrow. We always did it on the day after Thanksgiving.
