The Thanksgiving meal was a festive affair, and Felix went out of his way to be attentive and helpful. Everyone loved the spread, and I was told repeatedly that this was the best food ever. I was happy they enjoyed the meal. There was about a foot of snow on the ground, and the boys wanted to try a bit of sledding later. When it was time for dessert, Frank stood with his glass of wine and said, “I’ve been wandering this continent for decades.
