The world is not as simple as it looks, there is a force that governs the evolution of the world, a dark and powerful force.
The time of great change arrived on Earth as the legendary mana finally reached, and all living things went to some sort of evolution, including animals, insects, and animals. Meanwhile, humans who were able to withstand the power of this mana gained the ability to acquire power, strength, and skills by defeating monstrous creatures.
One of them was Bai Zemin, a twenty-year-old genius student of Beijing University and the main hero of Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse.
He was at his dorm when the Legendary Mana landed on the Earth.
The entire planet entered was in chaos as it reached a new era. Only one law existed: “survival of the fittest.” From this point on, all human beings were at the mercy of death.

Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse Chapter 1
From his dormitory room at Beijing University, Bai Zemin watched the rain from outside the window. The weather has been changing dramatically for the past years, and as much as he wanted to stay inside the dorm, twenty-one-year-old Bai Zemin needed to go to school.
His father was a city employee while his mother was an English teacher. In their family, only his father has no power. Another part of his family was Meng Qi, a pretty girl her parents brought home when he was twelve. His mother was friends with Meng Qi’s mother and initiated taking care of the little girl when her parents passed away.
The following year, Meng Qi would join Bai Zemin at the same university. And while rummaging for his uniform clothes, Bai Zemin’s world was shaken by a strong force like that of an earthquake. Odd things began happening to him, especially when a green text appeared before his eyes, saying something like “The Soul Record has arrived on Planet Earth”.
Then a beautiful woman with an innocent face and an attractive body appeared in his room. Outside the window, the world was in chaos. A girl was running from danger. She accidentally fell and strange people caught up to her. They tore their limbs to eat and soon after the girl became one of them. Bai Zemin people outside his house had become zombies.
What surprised the protagonist of Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse novel was the appearance of a human-sized bee that pierced the head of the zombie and crushed its brain. As the bee eats the zombie’s brain, it grows more height.
The bee advanced toward Bai Zemin who used the chair to defeat the massive insect. He gained the Level 5 Big Bee’s Soul Power in return. The woman praised him and introduced herself as Lilith, a Sixth Order succubus who belongs to the Demon Faction.

Lilith was surprised that Bai Zemin believed her introduction so easily. After witnessing what happened around him and himself, nothing seemed to surprise Bai Zemin anymore. She offered to be hers but Bai Zemin refused as he didn’t want to die. No matter how beautiful Lilith was, his attention was on the red scroll in his hands which seemed to hold power.
While he’s trying to work on his power, his room is attacked by zombies. Bai Zemin killed them with the bee’s stinger and his Blood Manipulation skill. While fighting, he noticed that he did not gain other skills from the dead zombie.
Lilith explained that he would become immune by killing the same creature with the same type and level, and thus, he would only gain less. To gain more, he must defeat creatures of different levels and types.
To get out of danger and before Lilith explained why she was in his room, they had to leave the place and be somewhere else safe.
Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse Chapter 3
His room was on the fifth floor of the men’s dormitory complex. They walked to the hallway where staggering zombies walked to them. Lilith suggested Bai Zemin used his power but he refused, thinking that he must not use them impulsively. Yet as three zombies approached him, his anxiety kicked in and he immediately used his power.
Lilith told him to use his Blood Manipulation skill to warm the zombies’ blood and bring them to their eyes. Bai Zemin did just that and the zombies exploded with heat. As they continued their exit from the dorm, Bai Zemin became more careful in using his power.
He would use the blood from the zombies he killed first before using the bee’s stinger to annihilate them. But when they reached the 1st floor, he encountered a strong zombie with a fist that could crush his brain if it landed on him. Bai Zemin created a chain of blood around the zombie which cost him 10 mana to defeat the creature.
He reached Level 8 and also gained an orange rare treasure orb the size of a baby’s fist that fell from the zombie’s corpse.
Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse Chapter 4
After squeezing the orb in his hand, it became a dark golden sword. It is the Xuanyuan Sword. His strength increased by twenty points, which is equivalent to the strength of four people combined.
Stepping out of the building, Bai Zemin witnessed other students running for their lives. One of them was a pretty girl being chased by a massive brown dog.
The hero of the Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse saved her by mutating the dog’s head and asked her to come with him if he wanted to live. More students followed him as he saved more of them. One of them was named Zhang Ming.
Bai Zemin approached one of the students who was scratched by the zombie and asked him to leave knowing what would happen after that. As he turned around to leave, the students followed him, as well as the scratched one. Bai Zemin turned back and punched him in the stomach, making the student kneel on the ground.
At the sight of it, Lilith couldn’t help but be more pleased with Bai Zemin.
Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse Chapter 5
They all headed to the gymnasium from the male dormitory. It was about four hundred meters in distance and Bai Zemin beheaded all zombies on their way. The number of students who were following him increased to twenty-four.
One of them was the vice president of Beijing University’s student association, Lian Xuan. He acquired level 3 since he had no choice but to fight the zombies to survive. Luckily for him, their group found Bai Zemin while ten zombies were attacking them or that would mean death for him.
He was chatting with a girl when a fast green shadow hovered around their group. Without a thought, Lian Xuan pushed the girl as cover to save himself. As a result, the girl was split into two. No one noticed his cruel action but Lilith, who was not surprised at all. She had seen far more cruel things than that.
The green shadow was a tall mantis. It advanced toward Bai Zemin when it realized its powers and the hero protected himself with a sword. But it wasn’t enough. The mantis was faster than him. Bai Zemin had to use his status points to increase his agility. He then began to combat the creature for survival and to gain more power.
The sound of the metals attracted the zombies. To protect the survivors, Bai Zemin moved to a safer spot. Using the blood of the zombies, he created six blood chains and wrapped them around the mantis. Without wasting the opportunity, Bai Zemin slashed the creature’s head and instantly reached Level 13.
The creature also dropped objects: one red and orange orb each and one scroll.
