My Werewolf System Chapter 1: An Obsession

They were watching a fighting video on PouTube during the school lunch break. It was now the most popular combat sport in the world, owing to the presence of a new species of humans known as the Altered, though some questioned whether they could even be considered humans anymore.
These ‘special humans’ had the power to change their appearance, transforming sections of their bodies to resemble the creatures with which they had been filled. They were stronger, quicker, and aged more slowly than regular people. If a person was ever infected with an illness, it may modify the human makeup to the point that it felt like a new body, curing it of the ailment.
Gary was preoccupied with money, and after seeing the Altered battle, particularly the enormous payout, he couldn’t think of a better way to get rich and renowned quickly.
Ironically, it was his fascination with money that would lead him down a bad road. A road he wouldn’t be able to back out of.
My Werewolf System Chapter 2: The Game Of Rugby
It was time for their daily warm-up, which meant running two large circuits around the school field. Gary, who had poor vision and couldn’t see the time on the enormous clock in front of the school, had always refused to wear glasses.
He believed that if he did, he would merely be confessing to himself that he had poor vision. They ran laps slowly and talked to each other and got scolded by their teacher Mr. Root every day. Then Mr. Root placed a rugby ball in front of himself on the ground. He chose Blake, the tallest kid in the class, from the lineup.
Gary was skilled at picking up tendencies and observing how people’s bodies moved before they did from years of watching Altered bouts. He could see through patterns that even the individual himself might not be aware of.
But it was useless because he didn’t have the body to make any move. Gary ended up getting his nose broken by Blake’s knee. After getting checked at the hospital he rushed back home and headed out to a club.
Gary has been keeping a terrible, dark secret from everyone. Not just his family, but also his closest friends. There was a cause for his dramatic change in look this summer.
He had joined a gang, unbeknownst to them all.

Gary’s summer vacation had been jam-packed with activities because he’d decided to join a gang. The gang members generally donned suits, making them appear to be ordinary businessmen or secret service agents. He found out that there were other kids of his age to join the gang. At the time, the globe was a difficult place to live in.
Since the introduction of self-driving cars, the economy has suffered considerably. It produced new employment but also eliminated many existing ones. Gary’s own family had been affected by the fallout.
However, one industry had begun to thrive because of this, and that was organized crime. It was extremely profitable for them since they catered to and nourished the genuinely desperate, who clung to anything in the tier fives, while simultaneously servicing the very top in the higher tiers.
In the gang, Gary met Kirk who saw something special in this kid and kept him close. Kirk decided to teach Gary how to fight.
My Werewolf System Chapter 4: The System
Garry worked as a transporter for the organization, and tonight his job would be to deliver whatever was in these suitcases. The rule they had to remember was simple “Never take the package, never ask what’s in the package, and never look inside the package!”
They had been granted $500, which was just half of the whole sum upfront. They would get the other half when they returned after finishing the task. A thousand dollars seemed like a lot of money to him. Especially for someone his age, and it would go a long way toward helping his family.
Gary’s task was to hand over the briefcase to the guy who was supposed to meet him at the location. He waited at the apartment building center, where there was nothing but dirt and a few cement sacks.
He found the dead body and got chased by the attackers. But unfortunately, he got caught and stabbed in the back. Even though his eyes were closed, and his vision was gone, something appeared in front of him.
My Werewolf System Chapter 5: What am I?
Gary’s eyes began to gently flicker open as he regained consciousness. Gary woke up in the woods, with no stab wound in his back. He should have been in pain. There should have been a wound there, but there wasn’t! His body felt better than it had in a long time.

It all felt like a video game, all those notifications, stats, and quests. He didn’t know why, but his favorite aspect of those games had never been mission fulfillment or world exploring, but rather grinding. He found quite interesting and strange quests while scrolling through the system.
In one of the quests, he was required to eat 2 kilograms of meat every day to gain XP. In another one, he saw:

His thoughts concluded after attentively reading this. He could only think of one mythical monster in stories or movies that had anything to do with the full moon.
