After getting myself ready, I went downstairs to have breakfast. "Goodmorning, Ms.Gi," one of our maids greeted me when I met her in the hallway. I just smiled at her; when I arrived at the dining hall, I saw daddy and mommy busy holding their laptops. I approached the table and sat down as well. "Mom, Dad. I already told you that when it's mealtime, it's just mealtime, nothing about work." Daddy put their laptop away. "I won't do it again," Mommy replied. "Hmmm." Manang put food on my plate. "I'm fine, and I can do it," I told her, then I smiled at her. I served myself, "So what is your plan?" I looked at dad when he asked me that question. I just graduated from college, so he asked me that. "Ahm, I still want to explore, so I can find out what I really want." They nodded at my answer. "Just tell us, we will support you whatever you want," Dad said. I smiled at them. "Thank you, mom and dad." "For you, honey, we will do everything that makes you happy," Mommy said We started eating, and I was just listening to mommy and daddy talking. When they mentioned something about David, who was my first love when I was young and also my childhood friend. "What about David?" I interject in their conversation. "Oh honey, your aunt's son is coming home next week," Mommy told me with a smile on her face. I smiled, and I simply took my phone and secretly texted Bella; when they replied, I stood up immediately after I read Bella's reply, "I'm sorry, mom and dad, I need to go" I approached them first to kiss on the cheek. "What happens?" Mommy asked worriedly. "I'll be back!" I shouted as I left the mansion confused; I immediately texted my two best friends where we would meet. ♥ I'm here now in a coffee shop; I've already ordered for my friends as well. A few minutes before the two arrived, I immediately waved when I saw them entering the coffee shop. It's good that they saw me right away, so they approached me; when they approached, they sat down immediately. "Girl! You know we don't have a car, if you had picked us up, we wouldn't have had to spend. Right? Then you're making it easier for us." Bella complained. I smiled at them. "I don't know if this woman wants to be an old maid," Bella said, laughing. "You don't have a boyfriend either, so shut up," Loraine. I was just shaken by what they were saying. Loraine was more matured than we, and Bella was cheerful and talky. "Excuse me. I'm choosy. I haven't found Da wan for me yet." "Exactly! That's why I don't answer Dexter because I don't see him as my future husband. If I have a boyfriend, he should be my future husband too." "Fine! Whatever. Wait, we came here for you; why are Lor and I just talking here?" Bella suddenly asked. I sigh. "Remember my childhood friend?" I ask. They nodded. "Which one of them? Aren't they two?" Oh yes, my childhood friends are two. "My first love." "Yuuuuun! Straighten the case right away," Bella. "He's coming home from Switzerland," I said happily. Bella suddenly screamed at what she read, "OMG, Girl! Maybe she's really the one for you !!" Lor's ears were covered because of the strength of Bella's voice. "We're not at home, Bella. Keep your voice down," Loraine said, annoyed. "I'm sorry, grandma." It made-face to Loraine "Kj" Bella looked at me. "Wait! Is this why you broke up with Kenneth?" "No! I hadn't heard the news about this when I broke up with Kenneth." "So why did you break up with him?" Loraine asked. "He's just my college boyfriend." "Lame. Why don't you guys take it seriously when it comes to relationships? We're not kids anymore," Loraine said to us. "Hey, we're only 20; make yourself live to the fullest. There's nothing wrong with what Gigi did; that's an experience, Lor. And we each have a choice in life so let her go." Bella Lor yelled at her, "Gaga! I'm not interfering in Gigi's life; you're my friend, I don't want the day to come, you'll regret the choice you made." she said, and Lor looked at me. "Don't do the thing you don't want to happen in your life, Gi." I hold her hands. "Thanks! I understand what you want to tell me; that's why I broke up with Kenneth because I don't feel for him anymore; I don't love him." "So, how about your first love?" Bella asked, so we looked at it at the same time. I shrugged. "I'll know that answer when we meet again. I'm not sure how I feel right now. After all, he just had childhood first love; you know those feelings have faded." "Yeah, right. So why don't we talk about our future? We are graduate students. What are your plans?" Loraine asked us. "I just realized now that in finding a job, your talent and beauty are useless if you don't have a backer." Bella sighed as she said it. "I told you guys that I would recommend you to my father." "How I wish we were as rich as you, Gi," Bella said. "Thanks, Gi. But I want us to go through the right process when we apply, and I don't want other people to say that if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be able to enter your company. Sorry for saying this Gi, I hope you understand me." Loraine said. I nod. "I know." We just talked; we forgot about my first love. Wherever our topics went. Until we thought of going home, I'm the one who takes them home, and it's good that they're both neighbors. "Thank you," Bella said. "My dad texted me to submit your application form to the company tomorrow, and don't worry because there are people who will actually evaluate you, and daddy is not involved."
