Chapter Four The art of good news.    The news came to the two by storm.     Mason and Alexis were busy training some men when it happened. All of their minds were conflicted into leaving the two but there was something inside of them that wanted to prove themselves to the Queen — well, the two more than Steven ever did. They were training the soldiers in their fully capacity, but never reprimanding them if they could not adhere to their new pace.     Maddox was the only wolf who is aware of their supposedly disposal from the pack that the wolves were only seeing the sudden pace as nothing but an additional thing to what they needed to learn.     “Try that again.” Mason instructed as he frowned. “You are losing too much focus, Alexis. If that man is not holding back, you would f*****g lose this brawl.”     Alexis nodded, uttering a sigh. “Alright. Calm the f**k down.”     They barely have little to any no control to their emotions, which was making the training too difficult to bear. While there was something inside of them that wanted to stay, there was also another factor that wanted them to come back.     If they managed to leave the pack and heard that Nvae had died while they were gone, they would not know how to react in any way. To lose her when they are not around will probably ruin them in the cruelest way possible.     Can they even leave these two, they wondered?     Mason sighed as he sprinted towards Alexis, stopping the man before he could adhere permanent damage to a soldier. He knew that his strength was not limited in any point and he wanted to make sure that no soldier would be sent to infirmary because of the worries they face.     To know that Alexis was not focused enough to engage that kind of offense to a man that he was training was f*****g stupid of him, but something that made him realize that this was not a healthy environment for them to conduct something as dangerous as a brawl.         They needed a breather and fast.      “Everyone, we are taking five.” Mason announced as he looked at everyone. “I will link everyone to come back after some time. For now, enjoy some free time in the obstacle course if you could.”     “Sir!” All warriors shouted as they paced through another training for the day.     Not one had minded their reactions, understanding that they were facing some worries towards the beta female. Never had the three reacted the same so the warriors wanted nothing more than to train harder — in need to defend the pack and retaliate to the ones who had troubled their beta.     “You got to be f*****g kidding me, Alexis! I thought you had control over this s**t?” Mason grumbled as he lightly patted the man before him. He could see the conflict in Alexis’s eyes while he sighed. “You would have killed the man, and you knew that. I told you to control your temper.”     Alexis have always been a counterpart of Hani. Whenever they are stressed or felt pressured about something, they channel their anger into their strength. Alexis is much stronger than she ever did. Mason had seen the man killed someone with a single punch when he was enraged. It was possible as the man hold the strength of the wolf.     The man is a beast if you did question him or challenge him.      Mason can acknowledge that.      Alexis only dropped his head low, trying to calm his raging wolf from the inside. “I am just worried about your decision. While I wanted to protect the Queen with the best of my ability, I am not sure if I could leave the two troublemakers quite yet. Most especially now that V is not even well to begin with.”     Mason faced the same troubles, sadly.     While the two face some existential crisis about the decision they needed to make — Steven was the first to hear the news about the pregnancy since his link was not cut due to the intense emotion happening from both of his friends. He was sprinting through the training pad, in need to relay the message that he knew would be able to soothe the mind of his two friends.      If they knew about it, they would not think twice than stay in this place.     They needed to stay!     f**k, Steven wanted to stay in this place and face retirement.      Steven have been looking for ways to make the two decide on staying in the place as they never felt home as they had in this pack. While people in the palace had always been kind to them, they were always treated as someone who was watching over the royals and was given some treatment they did not want.     In this pack, while everyone knew that they belonged in the palace before — nobody gave them any different pass. This was the only place where they felt like normal wolves who are living in a pack and they had loved it more because of it. He knew that if the family was growing, they could soon move out of the pack house and build their own cabin that would be their permanent home.     For years, none of them have a place to call their home.       “Mason! Alexis!” Steven hollered with a smile printed in his face. “I bear some good news that you would both enjoy.”     Both frowned, remembering the old news that had come from this man. Despite him not making that news, it still feel like everything that would come from his mouth is nothing but trouble laced with the idea that it was good. If he uttered anything stupid, Mason was not sure if he could hold down Alexis from possibly punching this man.      Thinking that it was about the Queen, they simply sighed.      However, they do needed to weighs some pros and cons about the situation so they needed to understand.     “What is it?” Mason questioned, already advancing to Alexis who frowned at him..     Steven smiled. “She is pregnant!”     Mason had to pull the man back down to where he was sitting to not damage their friend, in fear that Miller would be busy in having to fix two idiots all because of them could not stop their f*****g temper. Before Alexis could try standing up again, Mason was quick to him an eye that set him to bite back a snarl.     “We f*****g heard you the first time, Steven. We are not dumb, you asshole.” Alexis grumbled.     Jeez.      Steven almost chuckled, wondering what is up with his ass. However, he was too corrupted with nothing but happiness at the moment to jab some insult to the clearly troubled man before him. Both were annoyed with the smile in his face. Before Mason could even push Alexis to punch the man - Steven was quick to give the news that had probably saved his life.      “No, I am not talking about the Queen!” Steven could not help but smile as he passed the news. “Hani is pregnant! She is with a child!”      To say that the two was surprised seemed like an understatement. Even if Maddox and Hani had been mating for months and months now, it never passed their judgment that she would ever bear a child this early in the marriage, as they all knew that she had some precautions about pregnancy and had some dose of birth control.     Mason and Alexis did not even know how they would react to this.      The two looked at Steven as if he had grown two heads, blubbering nothing but words they could not understand. Hearing that the child that they had mentored was now bearing a child, someone who would be a small version of her was nothing but a call that they were growing old.      All three of them knew the situation passed before them.     They could not possibly leave the pack now, knowing that Hani needed some more protection when she is expecting and it would be another question asked to know that the child will need some uncles that will teach them how to shot someone in the heart and kill who dare opposes them.     “What did you f*****g say?” Mason asked, clearly wanting to know if he had heard right.     “Our little Hani is expecting!” Steven grinned. "She is pregnant!"      The two did not act twice before they sprinted towards the pack house, in need to make sure that she really was what Steven had reported before they beat the man for sputtering such lies. Something inside of them felt like they were bursting in nothing but joy.      Hani had always adored children and to have someone who was hers — they all knew that she was thriving at this point. She deserved every kind of happiness that was thrown in her way and they felt nothing but joy in that.      “Mason.” Maddox smiled as he opened the door, judging by the way that the man was beaming - he was for sure that Steven was not f*****g lying. “I was about to link you.”     His eyes grew wide, clearly surprised and breathless at the same time. “She is really pregnant?”     “Three weeks.” Maddox announced with the most brightest smile yet.      Happiness radiated from the man and anyone can smell it from a mile away. To an Alpha, having pups is just as great at having their mate. Having that sense of having someone who holds his and his mate’s genetic something so wonderful. Maddox had never felt so contented in his life as he does now, so he would do his best to have that from happening and nobody can f*****g stop him.     “Fuck.” Alexis muttered, chuckling through the happiness.     Mason smiled, patting the man like he was a dad that had heard that his child was expecting to have his grandchildren. “Congratulations, Alpha.”     “Thank you, Mason.” He smiled, ushering them inside, “She is in the living room, if you wanted to see her.”     Mason and Alexis did not even wait for a second as they bolted through the door and into the place where their little Hani was. Hani was not even surprised when both buff men had given her a hug in the most gentlest way that they could, as they mouthed nothing but congratulations before her very face.     She chuckled, pushing them away. “Okay, give me some space.”     “I can not believe you are this old enough to have a mini version of you!” Mason could not help but smile as he looked at the woman. “I remember the times when you are nothing but a little kid who flinch at the small reaction of a recoil.”     “Okay, shut up. I do not need that kind of reminder.” Hani rolled her eyes.     Alexis frowned as he saw the burger placed on her side table. “You can not pass on your diet and just eat garbage! In order to have a very successful pregnancy, you needed to give yourself proper nutrition. That child is a wolf, after all.”     “What?” Hani questioned, confused.     She was sure that her husband was the one who was eating that burger and since her pregnancy, the thought of burger make her nauseated. Before she could even tell them the news, the two had already rushed to the kitchen and seemingly asking for some staff to prepare her some foods.      A sigh escaped her lips, but that did not stop the smile from appearing to her lips.     The staff had already some panic when Maddox had basically stormed in the place and demanded for her to ask for anything she wanted. While she was sure that craving would be an everyday thing for her, she was not exactly looking for anything specific by this hour.     “So you finally realized that it is not just me who reacts like that in this pack?” Maddox teased as he hugged the female from behind, his hands automatically landed on her stomach and soothing it with his heat. “I told you, sweetheart. I am a very sane man compared to anyone else.”     Hani sighed. “Or I am living with all the possible insane men in the world.”     “That is also a possibility.” Maddox agreed, grinning at her.     She could only laugh, seeing that her husband had been agreeing to her words when he had heard that she was expecting. While Hani knew that it was nothing but the beginning of this journey — she was glad that he was more than involved that he was.     It really seemed like she really has a family that what she credits herself. Holding her husband’s hand that lays on her stomach, she could almost feel herself smiling. She knew full well that the child’s future would be nothing but good.     For she knew better that there are hundreds of people inside this pack who will make sure of it — most especially, her husband. She was sure that Maddox would do almost everything in his power so no harm could come to their child. . . “The Luna is pregnant.”     Jax smiled as soon as he saw a spike in her reaction, feeling nothing but glad that she was responding to their words. He was glad that she seemed to have been surprised with the news, as he knew that when she wake up and saw the Luna pregnant, she would be nothing but confused to what was happening. To hear that her friend, who had been opposed to our kind, was pregnant with the very same man that is the leader of the pack almost seemed nothing but funny to everyone.     He knew that his mate would find that hilarious as well.     A lot of things needed to be explained to his mate when she woke up and according to Mason, she had always been someone who had loved learning new things about their kind. For her to know that she will live with the same species for all her life, she will be in a treat.     Jax barely know things about his mate. Every story they tell him is all about what she was interested to do. One of the things they could never tell him was her name. It seemed like something she had made importance and only her mate would be the one who could personally tell him her name.     The Luna does give him the codename that she does receive call in.     V.     She does respond whenever he does address her as his little mate and he grew fond of calling her in that endearment as it was the last peace of agreement that they bothered to have. Nobody had ever had a chance to call him “Blondie” and he does miss being addressed in that way in the loving tone that his mate used to have.     He does not know if the code “V” does correlates with anything in her name, but he was glad to know something that was important for her. Jax will give her every time in the world when she wake up, and he will make sure that he will make her realize just how wonderful it is to be alive.     Clutching on the small hand around his, he offered a small smile.     “Please continue on fighting for your, little mate.” He whispered softly, fighting the need to have his wolf burst out his whole emotion to the woman who was continuously getting worse as the day had progressed. “We have a bright future ahead of us, little V. I am sure you also wanted to meet the little critter that will soon burst out of the Luna’s stomach, so you should really do your best and fight.”     Beep.     Nothing but machine answered him again.     Jax was getting used to it — but not in the same tango that he was fine with it. He wanted to hear her expression and see the emotion in her face. To see how glad that she would be that her best friend was pregnant or to see the subtle expression in her face whenever he would offer her affection.     As his watch ringed with the time, he knew fully well that he needed to amend to his job. That being said, he pressed a soft kiss in her forehead before slipping out of the room. Jax had left to make sure that everything was fine in the room and closed it with a soft bang. He wanted to continue in his work as soon as he had gone out from the room but given the situation, he couldn’t do so.     He had noticed that there were new people around the hospital that does not belong in the place. It was both Rex and Carl—two soldiers who are known best when it comes to spotting people in patrol. These two men could sniff out someone who does not belong in a pack from a mile away.     Why are they here?     They were strolling around the hallways where his mate was placed and it was not really a hard to decipher that they were here to spot on her. Jax was not aware that his mate was in a need of some guards in her post — nor did he have a slip of memo that someone had sent these men for her.     “Rex and Carl. Come here.” Jax called, gathering the attention of both males before ushering them forward. His eyes were calculative as he asked. “Is there any reason you’re both here and not at the south border? Did the Alpha have some deals that he needed from the hospital?”     Carl bowed his head, showing his respect before he answered. “We are ordered to watch all who needed to enter the beta female’s room. So far, only three staff in the infirmary could enter — with the exception of those who are close to her.”     “Why is there a need to do that? Is she in danger?” Jax questioned, clearly alarmed.     “It is straight instruction from Miller, Beta. We do not have the right to question her and we are only glad that we can serve your mate.” Rex answered immediately.     Doctor Miller?     Beckoning them back to their post, Jax had long forgotten his job as he trotted his way towards where Miller was current is. He needed to understand why the woman had to know why she had grabbed two of the best men in patrol in order to guard over his mate. She would not do anything like that if it is not important, something had happened and it was making him fear to know what it was.     He knew that Miller would not pull such stunt if it is needed — it was the very reason why she has the very power to do so. Having to be in control with the safety of the beta female, Miller’s words almost seemed absolute to the warriors too.     Maddox was quick to order everyone that if Miller had linked any warrior into needing some aid for the beta female, everyone was to respond without another question asked. Since they all worry about his mate, he knew fully well that no warrior would say no to her. He should have added that they would have been aware of this, as he was sure that none of the people in the pack house knew about this.     Jax was always the first to know about the condition of his mate.     To have something out of his knowledge does put pressure in his mind. Miller was a very able doctor and to have her suddenly cast some guard outside her room — and them being the best at what they do, he knew that there are possible signs of break in to his mate’s room.     And that idea haunted him to the core.     If any piece of s**t ever laid their hand on her, he would not think twice than to offer their head back to a platter and served to whomever f*****g bastard had ordered them to do what they have done.     “Please leave the files on the table, Jenna. I might need a second to assess this record.” Miller was quick to reply as the door shifted open, not being bothered into looking into the files that her older sister had her equipped upon visiting. Her sister had varies possible theories to what had happened to the beta female and she wanted to know the reasons why.     There are still possible reason to her words and she does understand how she was able to form this with the new record thats he had gathered from the test. Her older sister was more fielded out in this type of thing so she could trust her judgement well.     Jax frowned, seeing the sprawl of paper all around. “Miller. I suggest you lift your head and address me properly.”     Listening to the command, her eyes grew wide as she stands straight. “Beta! I was not aware that you are visiting. I apologize if that offended you.”     “What is all these?” Jax questioned, in need of answers.     “These are all possible theories on what could have occurred to the beta female.” Miller responded all too fast, informing Jax that she had some fill of some caffeine due to some restless work. “There are quite a lot of theories about her and I needed to examine every symptoms, cause and everything around it to narrow what could have been a possible reason.”     Jax nodded, understanding her position. “And what about the guards posted outside her door and lingering in the hallway whenever someone who is not in your staff is visiting?”     Miller stilled, completely forgetting the fact that he needed to talk to the Beta about this. Even if she was not sure about her theory, she did place the two was precaution. For now, the two had not reported anyone who wanted to go inside the room besides the two staff that she had mentioned.     So she never really had anything to report to the beta.     Wanting to ease his stress, she answered truthfully. “I had suspicions that someone had infiltrated the infirmary and might have slipped in her ward. To make sure of that, I needed to control who was going in and out of her room.”     “What?” Jax questioned, clearly alarmed about something as serious as this. “When did this happen?”     She shook her head. “I am afraid that I am not sure about that, Beta. However, when I checked her the last time — I noticed the same symptoms from the first time that I had treated her. So I took some blood samples.” Miller grabbed some files in her folder from the very data gathered from the beta and the latest one.     Jax frowned as he looked through the data. “These are the same sheets, Miller. I think you gave me a wrong chart to differentiate.”     “No. I am afraid not, Beta.” She replied, holding her temples as she felt a migraine coming through. “The one on your left is her first data and the other is her latest one.”     “That is impossible. You have drained her out of every poison and you have checked. Did you made a mistake?”     “I did checked on her and there was no mistake on my practice. All my approach to her health is perfectly safe and had given her good values on her status.” Miller nodded, which made Jax understand her standpoint in having some mutt infiltrate their infirmary, “This very reason is what lead me to think of two things. One, there could have been some toxins inside of her that was not whipped clean — but her wounds have healed so it does not work in that way.”     Jax nodded, controlling his hands to not crumple the files. “Which is why you had them posted outside her door and controlled the staff who is entering.”     “Yes, Beta.” She frowned, a sigh escaping her lips in the problem that was arising. “I wanted to see if there would be a difference in her reactions when we have controlled the staff who are entering her room.”     Jax feared his question but he muttered them nevertheless. “And what is your verdict? Did it have some effect or was it just some fault in theory?”     As if on cue, Jenna had entered the room while a file in hand. Knowing what the file entails, Miller was quick to grab the folder to see the difference in her blood and her reactions to the medication.     Alas, her suspicions were getting quite right.     “By the given charts of her situation, Beta.” She frowned before handing the folder. “You could see that the changes are getting quite good that normal. There might be a possibility that someone had slipped beyond our radar and poisoned her without us being the wiser.”     Infirmary does hold little to no security as it is filled with nothing but warriors who are injured but not enough that they could not fight. To have someone infiltrate the room knowing that his mate was inside — he knew that whoever that person was, it was aware that she was inside and whatever is happening to her body.     That gives them a solid year gap on who could have been inside her place. Logs do not work, as he doubts that someone inside the pack was a mole who wanted to kill their beta female.     Jax stilled, knowing a specific day which he had some worries.     Hurrying to where the tapes where held, Jax was quick to instruct them to find the ones that were saved on the day of the attack. Due to some f****d up reason that he had grown to hate before, Maddox always let the staff hold onto tapes until he verified every single frame inside of that.     While Jax seen it as nothing but a pain of the ass as he was the one who needed to make sure that nothing slipped from the guards who are watching them — and it was just now when he had he finally realized the importance of that practice. The guard was quick to pull out the tape and inserted it in the player, having to choose different location — one specific event caught his eyes.     “Camera 3, Brian.” Jax instructed.     Brian nodded, clicking through the camera. “Zooming on camera 3, Beta.”     There was a woman who seemed to be someone whom he was not familiar with. Jax already knew that the woman was with the group of marked red who had poisoned him along with the Alpha. That would mean that the person who had been aware of this was fully knowledgeable in poisons.     “Someone really did enter her room.” Miller frowned and uttered a soft gasp as she saw that the woman had injected something from the very veins on one of her arm before exiting from one of the windows. Everyone was nothing but surprised to see that happen before their eyes. “f**k. She really did do something to her.”     “But her vitals were steady by then?” Jax questioned.     Miller nodded. “I am very sure, Beta.”     “Be sure to keep this issue at bay for now since the Luna is pregnant. We couldn’t do or say anything that will affect her pregnancy.” He muttered as his eyes glistened on the woman in the screen. “I will make sure that the Alpha is well aware. Have both guards to be discreet when the Luna does visit.”     “Of course, Beta.”     Jax furrowed his brows as he memorized the feature of the woman in the video. For he will do everything he could to locate that piece of s**t and personally rip her body into shreds. While he was someone who had never been a fan of the violent side of his Alpha—he will never show remorse to mutts who dare threaten the life of his mate.     That fucktard will die—and all that she loves will go to drain with her. . . Hani could only show a smile as her hand touched her belly.     She was nowhere showing any physical signs that she was pregnant but the mere fact that there was a small version of her—or her husband—that is growing inside of her was making her nothing but euphoric.     While she had always adored children in her whole life, she never knew that she will be able to have one with the compelling schedule of her job. Back when she was nothing but a hunter who had little to no knowledge of how werewolves usually act, she never knew that people had the power to fall for someone like her.     Then again, she fell for someone whom the very kind she wanted to haunt from before. She was sure that someone was laughing at her life from a mile away, and she could honestly do the same.     Even with her carrying a small bean, her work never really stop.     Though, Maddox was giving her some slack since she was not allowed to visit places not that would consume her time. She does realize the importance, as there would be more people who would talk to her and congratulate her about the child. To have countless people telling her what she shouldn’t and should do during her pregnancy is one thing she knew she’ll have a hard time.     While she will love appreciating their advice, it would be unbearable for her to be able to adhere all their requests at once.     Grabbing another folder in her desk, she focused on reading the damn thing while flopping some bites of mango in her mouth. She had been craving fruits lately and her husband had made sure to stock the whole kitchen with very fruit that existed.     “This isn’t right.” Hani frowned as she circled a data in the folder. Grabbing the one that was sent to her yesterday, she saw the error in the given report from one of the companies that are functioning in the human world.     Quickly grabbing the phone, she had ringed the one who was managing the firms. She found out that talking by phone really does help ease her stress on most days.     “MB Co. This is Mr. Miller’s secretary speaking.” The woman greeted on the phone. “May I please know who I am referencing to?”     Hani flipped through the pages. “It’s Hani Blaze.”     “I’ll page you right away, Mrs. Blaze.” She replied, already knowing her position in the company. While the secretary was indeed a human, she does know the two people who rightfully own the company—which was Maddox and Hani Blaze.     “Thank you.”     While her pace of work was in the same page, she does found herself having some usual breaks whenever she would need to vomit and run into the bathroom. Her morning sickness was not bad but she had been vomiting for what seems like five to six times a day and it’s stressing her out.     A sigh escaped her lips as she rinses her mouth, clearly done at feeling like s**t. While everyone does say that pregnancy has it’s perks—she was beginning to understand the cons in the situation. She could hardly finish most of her tasks as her need to pee, vomit or grab another snack was like a bell that she needed to follow.     Walking back into the office, she was surprised to see her husband.     Maddox was pulling on his tie as he read through the reports she had made so far. His eyes were all around the place as he checked every single thing that she had advice through everyone. He does not doubt the ability of his wife to handle affairs; it was the very reason why he let her manage these tasks without a compliant from him.     But why was he here?     Checking her clock, Hani frowned upon checking that it was only four in the afternoon. While she was glad that her husband was home early, he had never arrived back home in such hours.     “You’re doing really good, sweetheart.” Maddox complimented as he looked at her. Smelling her scent from a mile away. A small smile ushered on his lips before beckoning her over. “I have something to show you.”     Hani nodded. “Okay.” Walking to where he was, Maddox was quick to place her on his lap as he grabbed a file that she was about to scan when her need to vomit and pee had controlled her body before she even could. Wanting to voice her confusion, she uttered, “Why are you back so early?”     Maddox smiled, holding her stomach. “My need to be with you is intensified than before now that you’re expecting. You might need to give me some slack if I get too annoying, sweetheart.”     Hani chuckled before pressing a soft kiss in his cheeks. Maddox was nothing but excited into having her pregnant that she swore that he must have screamed in the link for everyone to know the news so fast.     “I never knew that you adore children.” She murmured.     He only smiled as he casually sat her down in the table. “I adore anything that comes out of you.”     “Even my s**t?” Hani teased.     “I cannot believe that came out of your mouth.” Maddox fire back.     Both couple chuckled as they enjoyed their whole day talking about the future that they wanted with a child. Hani had never felt more contented in her life and to have someone who was supporting her in every ways that she was not sure of—it was nothing but heaven sent.     When it was around 3 in the morning, Hani suffered the consequences of being pregnant and in craving of something that the pantry never had. She was looking for some blueberries that she had finished gobbling up earlier. Now that she was out of that and a carton of milk in hand, she dashed to where her husband was sleeping and shakes his body.     “Maddox.” She called.     The man did not even answer, only his soft mutter of a frown had expressed in his face as he burrowed deeper into the covers. Hani knew that he had been exhausted in training earlier in the day and needed some sleep but her need to eat some blueberries was more important.     “Maddox.” Hani called again.     Again, there was nothing.     She grumbled. “I’m going, then!”     “Wait.” He replied, still laced with nothing but sleep as he grabbed her hand. “Where are you going? And… is it still night out?”     Hani declined his entire questions as she replied. “I wanted some blueberries!”     “I bought you a couple, sweetheart.” He replied, in need of sleep.     She frowned. “There’s none left!”     Already knowing that she needed to clench her need to satisfy her cravings, Maddox was quick to stand up from his bed and grabbed some shirt for him to wear. He was not sure where he’d be able to get some blueberries in this hour but he doubts that he could sleep with a whimpering mate beckoning him for some blueberries.     “It’s three am.” He grumbled, a dissatisfaction covered his face, “Where would I get some blueberries in this hour, sweetheart?”     Hani tilted her head. “The baby wanted the blueberries.”     “How does that help me in any situation, sweetheart?”     She could see the irritation building up inside of him that she finally realized that Maddox hated being awoken from his slumber. To her side of things, she never really did disrupt his sleep, as she knew fully well that he needed every second of it. For that very reason, she never saw him grumbling about the fact that she had basically dragged him off the bed.     “Are you saying that you could not give your mate and your unborn child some delicacy of some blueberries?” Hani frowned, wanting to make him realize just how much she wanted some blueberries. When Maddox only blinked, obviously fighting sleep, she grabbed both of his shoulders and shook his body. “Our baby wants blueberries!”     Maddox sighed as he grabbed his key, already knowing full aware that he needed to venture to the land of the humans in order to find some store that could offer him the very delicacy that his wife was craving for the second. “Fine. I’ll buy a whole f*****g plot of land of blueberries for you after this.”     Hani laughed, offering him a jacket. “Thank you so much, my dear husband.”     The woman was nothing but jumping on the passenger seat for what seems like a few minutes. Every store that they passed would not miss and Maddox always have to make sure to check if they have any blueberries. When the clock had strike close to four, he chuckled as soon he noticed the sleeping figure of his wife. Carefully adjusting her seat, he made sure that she was comfortable as he continued to venture the land of the humans in need to search for some damn blueberries.     “Damn.” He sighed as he pulled out of what seemed like the tenth store. “How come none of these motherfuckers have any blue damn berries.”     Clicking through the navigation, he found another store, which was ten minutes away. Seeing the sun that was slowly rising, he looked to the spot where his wife was smiling through her dreams and could not help but lose all his lose tension.     Then again, he was prepared to do everything for her.     Grabbing some damn blueberries is nothing.     He will offer her the whole world—and more.
