Ryder's P.O.V.
Leaving Keira with Kyle was giving me a weird feeling. Kyle doesn't like to be intimate with anyone. But today he was too behaving strangely. First, he held her hands in the college, and now he was sitting beside her holding her hands. I feel a little bit jealous too...
I reached the doctor's room. Dr. Gill who had operated on Keira was sitting on his seat. When he saw me through his glasses, he signaled me to take a seat in front of him. He was doing something on his system with full concentration. After a while, he put down his glasses and looked at me.
"So, Mr. Blake, there are certain things about Keira which I need to discuss with you", he said with a serious tone. I gave him a curt nod. He continued. "Well, the thing is, this is not the first time, she has these kinds of serious injuries. She has been in tremendous torture for a long time and we are sure that she has amnesia too as there is a huge blood clot in her head. She has some serious internal injuries too in her upper body", my eyes widened in shock instantly. How on earth that she survive with so many injuries?
Then he showed me her scans. There were clear impressions of present injuries and partial impressions of past injuries which were healed almost. I was staring at him like he has grown two heads. What is he talking about??? How could someone survive all this time with so many injuries let alone live a normal life? One thing is clear that she is in some kind of great danger. All the assaults were deadly. I discussed her line of treatment with him and after half an hour I left him and went towards Keira's room.
As soon as I reached her room, I saw Kyle searching for something in her stuffs. "What are you doing?" I asked him while entering the room. "I placed a bug on her bracelet in the afternoon and her bracelet is missing. It was with her when they attacked her as I heard her scream, but not on her wrist. So, it must be in her bag which they have taken with them", he answered me.
After that, he again showed me the CCTV footage of the incident. We both looked at each other and he smirked. he knew what he needed to do.
He left me there with her. I was standing beside her bed and looking at her. "Please wake up Keira", I whispered. I leaned towards her and then did something I was not expecting to do. I kissed her softly on her lips. I know it was wrong. Till yesterday morning, I hate her without any reason. And now, I am kissing her when she was unconscious. I must feel guilty but there is no guilt in me for my action.
