Fiery Fairy

The battle between Yuna and Yann started with Yuna releasing a blazing fireball from his right hand. Yann acted leisurely as he didn’t even show any sign of dodging the attack.

When the fireball is already in front of him, a pillar of water suddenly spurts out from the ground and extinguishing the fireball easily.

“Girl, you’re still too green. This level of attack will only expend our energy. How about you stop with the pointless attack and just hit me with your best shot?”

Of course, Yuna doesn’t have any intention of following what Yann is telling her to do. Yuna is now trying to find an opportunity to launch her ultimate attack since that is the only chance that she has. After making the first initial fireball attack, Yuna moved away since the opportunity is there given from the water screen that is blocking her fireball.

Yuna then launched a couple of fast-moving fire darts. It looked harmless, but if it lands, it will be enough to give second-degree burns. As the attack is coming from an unexpected angle, Yann needs to move to dodge the attack, but it is still done effortlessly. It was just like a walk in a park for him while Yuna is trying her best to run in a marathon.

Yuna keeps on launching fire darts and a few fireballs every now and then while Yann easily handles them. She keeps on waiting for the best time to launch her finisher.

“Girl, I am becoming tired of this cat and mouse game. Let me end this right now.”

Yann then stopped in his track as Yuna was still moving around the field, trying to find a chance to get a chance to attack. Yann kneeled with one leg and put his right hand on the ground. Not long after, a dragon made entirely of water appeared from the ground behind him and roared to where Yuna is standing.

Even if she used her deciding move, she still needs to control it perfectly to strike at the dragon’s weak point.

Seeing the dragon in the distance, Yuna starts invoking her secret weapon right away. Right now, as if something is sucking the moisture in the air, the air becomes dry as if someone is walking in the middle of a desert. Even the hot wind started to gather and rise, creating a mini cyclone with Yuna as the center.

What is happening right now isn’t Yuna controlling the winds but the wind that is moving because of scientific principles. In the eye of the cyclone, embers of fire start to form, just like a lotus flower blooming in the middle of the night. From one to two, two to four, it keeps multiplying until it covers the inside of the cyclone entirely. An explosion then occurred, eliminating all of the wind as if the area around Yuna become a vacuum space.

The move earlier is now completely covered Yuna’s body in fire, as if she has become an incarnation of fire. Her power also soared unreservedly, nearing that of a B rank. It is a fantastic achievement considering that Yuna is only 15 years old and her power is almost at the B rank. Given that Yann is B rank based on Yuna’s sensing, she should have the power to fight against him, although it was only for a short period of time.

A special move like what Yuna is doing is uncommon. After all, a move that enabled the user to fight a rank higher than their usual rank isn’t something you can find easily. Of course, such a powerful skill will come with severe limitations or drawbacks. For example, Yuna’s ability that turned her into a human torch will make her stranded on top of the bed for two days with all her body feeling weak all over.

If Max is here right now, he will understand why Yuna is called the fiery fairy. Right now, she looked like a fire spirit that is beautiful but scary at the same time. It is now ready to face the water dragon that is already looking at her like a predator looking at its prey.

At this form, Yuna can even fly due to the different air temperatures below her feet and the surroundings. Yuna then moved forward to attack the water dragon that is baring its teeth at her.

The water dragon pounced forward while Yuna reciprocated with a punch from her fiery body. Yuna’s punch stopped in front of her, but soon after, a large wave of fire comes out from her fist. The moment the wave of fire comes upon contact with the water dragon, a large amount of steam is generated and rising to the sky.

The dragon’s face is melted and deformed due to the attack earlier, but it is slowly recovering itself. Yuna, however, didn’t stop there as she already has the upper hand. Not to mention that her transformation time is limited, and she still need to defeat Yann.

Yuna launched a sweeping attack with her leg to aim at the dragon’s body, and it succeeds in cutting the dragon in half. The lower parts fall to the ground and immediately splashed everywhere, returned to their original water form. The upper half is still trying its best to counter-attack as a new head has been formed, although it is smaller than earlier.

It’s trying to bite Yuna, but she easily catches its mouth with both hands, and she tore it apart into pieces as the smaller parts of the dragon's body evaporate when it comes into contact with her body. Her gaze immediately turned to Yann, but at this moment, there are already three other water dragons surrounding Yann.

“I have to admit that you’re very talented, but you’re still too young. In a couple more years, you might be able to defeat me but unquestionably not now.”
