Say You'll Stay
Updated at Apr 17, 2024, 14:14
A spicy secret baby story Allie I met him during my only night of freedom. He was the boy from the rival team, and I was the coach's daughter. Falling hook, line and sinker for that sinfully sweet smile, I followed him to his car. An hour later, he kicked me out and left me in the driveway of a stranger's house. He never even asked for my name, but he sure left an impression. It was a tough road following that night, but the reward was sweet: my son, Jadon. Five years later, he's back in town. Somehow, we're supposed to navigate co-parenting like real adults. It's hard when he's everywhere, all the time, never leaving me alone. Did I mention neither of us are single? Oh, and that he? It's Lucas freaking Kennedy.

Broken Mates

Book One of three. Mate. She realized it when he broke the kiss and rested his forehead against hers. She felt tears drip onto her forehead. He knew. He knew all this time. “I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…” Why is he apologizing? Wait. “You’ve known this entire time? Why did you lie about not finding your mate?” She pulled away from him. Cal didn’t speak. Just stared at her. Waiting for her to figure it out. It wouldn’t be long now. “You’ve even been betraying the bond the past three months-“ she stopped. “Oh my-oh my God.” She paused and looked at him incredulously. “You-you’re rejecting me?” Bingo. “Am I that…unappealing to you?” Silence. “You just want to whore around? Is that it?” Nothing. “What is it, Cal? You couldn’t bare being mated to your best friend? Need your freedom?” He continued staring at her. “If that was your plan, why kiss me? Why did you-today-what? Was it your one day to see what life would be like with me? Was it awful for you? Or maybe I intimidate you, too.” She wasn’t getting anything out of him. He just watched her with a hardened look on his face. Tears falling, she lunged forward beating her fists at his chest. “ANSWER ME!” He grabbed her wrists, maintaining what little composure he had left, he looked her in the eye. “You know the pain of the betrayal is going to set in from the past three months. Unless you want to feel it, you know what needs to be done.” She didn’t miss a beat, and this cut deep wounds in his already pained heart. She squared her shoulders and composed herself. She wouldn’t appear weak for this. “I, Kaiya Reign Thompson, reject you, Callum Everette Jackson, as my mate. May our bond be severed without regret.” He felt it. He felt the pain from the rejection. Honestly, he had been feeling the pains for months and thought of himself already numb to most of it. He took a few breaths prolonging the moment as long as possible. “Do it,” she gritted out. “I…” “NOW!” she screamed not caring who heard at this point. “I, Callum Everette Jackson, reject you, Kaiya Reign Thompson, as my mate. May this bond be severed.”

Bonds of Another Kind Part Two

“This is punishment for you always flirting with his wife, you realize that, don’t you?” Toby was whining like a little b***h. He was wearing sunglasses inside like an a*****e because he drank so much in three minutes flat. Not that Brandon stopped him. Toby was usually the smart one, though. “I don’t flirt with Nora.” “Yes you do! You always say you’re gonna steal her away if Alex is a douche.” “Of course I say that! He was a douche to her for like a hot minute.” “You didn’t even know her then!” “I know it made her unhappy.” “Guys,” Jack groaned from behind. He was setting out the tools across the dresser in Alex and Nora’s room. “Both of you shut up. You sound like a couple preteen girls right now.” “Jack,” Toby pulled out his best argumentative voice. “You can agree with me on this. He literally brought up his d**k in his toast at their wedding.” “As a joke!” Jack slammed a wrench down, causing both brothers to stop and look at him. “Brandon, you project your issues way too much to notice you’re being inappropriate with a woman who has been in love with the man for easily fifty times longer than you’ve been alive. Toby, quit acting like the world is out to punish you. Man the f**k up and just kiss the girl already. You’re both acting like dipshits. And if either one of you flirts with Nora or brings up their genitals around her or Alex again, I won’t stop either one of them from maiming you.” “Somebody’s in a mood today,” Brandon scoffed while setting the ladder up. “Your mother took Grim’s blend and cussed my ass out all night thinking I let you two idiots in on some secret without her. So yeah,” he picked up his drill and messed with the bit, “I’m in a f*****g mood right now.”

The Wrong Mate
Updated at Dec 10, 2021, 01:05
Warning- this is a prequel to an existing series. If interested, it is suggested you read Broken Mates, Strength in Darkness, and Of Gods and War. It is not necessary to read the series to understand this book, nor is it necessary to read this to understand the series. It is purely a love story. Darrin Jackson has known his entire life what he was destined to be- Alpha of the Diamond Sky pack. Like his father, and his father before him. It runs in the family, and Darrin has no choice but to accept the role. At five years old, he already knows what life has in store. Except for one thing. Charlotte. The minute she asked him to move his foot from her chair, Darrin's life changed forever. Growing up together was a breeze. Learning what love is like from a young age is what made Darrin confident to tell Charlotte he knew they were mates at thirteen years old. Well, until his true mate called to him, leaving Darrin caught between his love and his mate. For Charlotte, losing Darrin meant gaining something different. Possibly better. Brady.

Angels and Misfits Part Two
Updated at Dec 6, 2021, 01:52
Buckle up, buttercup, this wild ride isn't over. This is part two to "Angels and Misfits" and cannot be read on its own. Withstanding the ultimate test of time, facing every possible force keeping them apart, Nora and Alex have faced the world and come out strong. A forbidden love, a secret romance, the loss of their child, and separated by memory loss, their souls couldn't be kept apart. Now they can face the world together. No longer a secret--unless the goddess would like another slap to the face with a dose of the Carella Special. Unlike their short 25 years together, Nora and Alex aren't alone. They will have Alex's brother Gabe, his human love Katelyn, and Alex and Nora's two newly adopted sons Orion and Evander. Caution: this story will have violence, mature scenes, and readers are advised that there may be tears shed by the end of the book. Possibly. Maybe. It's probable.

Angels and Misfits

Warning: This story spans over 200 years and the characters endure some darker times. Trigger warning at the bottom. There is a happy ending and a finished second half. *** Abomination. The Devil's child. Lucifer's whore. Nora was born in this world knowing two things. First, her mother had the purest heart of any human. She always believed some higher power was watching out for them and never did anything wrong. Second, the world was always going to hate Nora because of whatever her father was. He left before Nora could even form a memory of him. Long, purple hair with silver eyes, strength beyond any man's, and the ability to have an impact on the weather... She frightened the people around her. No one in 1813 wanted her around. They tried to kill her, but couldn't. No one, aside from her mother, had ever shown her compassion. They called her the abomination. Seared their marks into her body where no one could see. Sure, she could fight back, but what good would it do? If she killed them, it would only prove their point. Whoever her father was, and wherever he may have been her entire life, he need not come around. Because more than likely, she feared she truly was the daughter of the devil. ----- Son of the archangel, Michael, Alex was sent to kill her. Rid the world of the abomination before she became too strong. She could end the world. She was going to be far too powerful to control and would bring destruction as her strength grew. Whoever her father was, he left her with an uncontrollable amount of power unlike anything else out there. As far as Heaven knew, this girl was the only one of her kind. Alex, in order to move up in ranks within the Army of Angels, would go to Earth and end her life. And then he found Nora. Seeing her, helpless and broken while burying her mother... something told him Nora was different. So he hesitated. He watched from afar until he couldn't any longer. He needed to know her. There's just one problem. Angels may only be with angels. Nora is no angel. She is a nephilim. An abomination. ------- Triggers Some graphic violence (noted at the top of chapters) Lots of explicit language ------- There are "mature" scenes throughout. Chapters have label at the beginning.Second book is steamier than the first with more of that. No cheating, they do not abuse one another, no rejections or mate tropes. This is a duet within my universe. The order in which books are written are as follows, but this is a good duet to start with. If the other characters are interesting, you can read their books, but not necessary to understand this one. Broken Mates Strength in Darkness Of Gods and War Bonds of Another Kind Angels and Misfits Angels and Misfits 2 The Wrong Mate Bonds of Another Kind 2 Faaaacebook: jojo's misfit nation

Bonds of Another Kind

Jack has scoured the planet for fifteen years, searching. Searching for everything. His mate, his kidnapped nephews, even just peace. Instead, he found war, destruction, and death all around. In his fight to help as many people as he could, he never made it back home. Too much grief. Too many memories from the night that changed everything. After being sent home from the Alphas Callum and Kaiya, Jack knew he would regret not listening to his future King and Queen when they take their rightful place in their world. The moment he rolled back into town, he found her. His mate. Walking out of a gas station with...his nephews? The resemblance was uncanny, how much the older boy looked exactly like his own brother, and how the younger looked like Jack's sister-in-law. Anya's life changed the moment she came home to her brother parked in front of her house with two babies that needed a temporary home until their families were found. Fourteen years later, Anya, Brandon, and Toby find themselves in a whole new world when Jack brings them to his home.

Of Gods and War - Book 3
Updated at Aug 9, 2021, 23:18
“You two broke up after the ceremony?” He thought back to the past few months seeing her without Alex, he even thought about Ethan tiptoeing around her all the time, even James was too friendly to her. He felt the anger bubble up inside, “you’ve been broken up for months and you’re just now telling me?” “I tried to tell you, but you didn’t want to hear it.” “When? That’s not something I wouldn’t want to hear. If anything, that’s good news to me.” He ignored her taking offense to him. This was some bullshit for her to keep it a secret. “The day after your ceremony. I went to tell you early, but you were adamant—” “So, you let me cut you off for something like that?! Kai! You should have yelled at me! You have a damn voice and I know you know how to use it!” He shot up from the platform, clenching his fists. “How could you not tell me?!” “I tried! You kept saying you were done and the night before you—” “That’s because I wanted to give you freedom from me! Wanted you to be able to live your life with the guy who was obviously making you so damn happy!” He felt Tyr’s rage bubbling inside of him, “damn it, Kai! Argh! Tyr! Stop it!” He pulled at his hair, and took deep breaths, trying to keep his wolf inside of him. Tyr was on a rampage inside, clawing his way out. Cal had no idea what he would do if he got out. Cal turned back to Kai, and watched her hold that same stoic face she wore for weeks after the rejection, “so, what then? Why did you guys break up? Or am I supposed to just know that too?” She swallowed before looking up at him. “You know, it was a hard time for me, Callum. I had so much hope for us that night. Your coming of age. I was looking forward to that night for years. Did you know I counted down the days to it since I was fourteen?” Cal frowned watching her get up and pace in front of him. Kai rarely ever let her feelings show and when she did, it was usually like him, explosive. “I allowed myself to be vulnerable that night. When you watched me from up on that stage, and lied to the entire world, it hurt, Cal. I was so heartbroken that night. In the end, it turned out you knew already and knew what was going to happen.” “You know why I did that, Kai.” “I know. I don’t blame you for it anymore. I understand and am big enough to recognize why you did it. What pisses me off to no end is that we did this dance for years, Cal. I told myself that night, that even though I had my hopes up, I would still keep my feelings locked away until I knew for sure. I wouldn’t tell you how I’ve always felt until I knew for sure that we were going to be mates.” “What do you mean?” He had a feeling he knew, but he needed the words. She needed to say it. “We keep missing each other in everything. We push and pull at one another and we’re never on the same page! I broke up with Alex. Then we rejected one another. And it’s so frustrating that even without this bond anymore, I still feel exactly the same!..."

Strength in Darkness

“What!” he looked between Heather and Kai, ignoring his father’s shocked look. “No. Kai, no. That’s not what this is—” “You know what? It doesn’t even matter.” She looked around the room for anything that might be hers. Seeing as she was comfortable enough without a shirt on, who knows, maybe she dropped a sweater somewhere. Finding nothing, she had to make a choice. Window or door. Dignity or climb down a tree. “Excuse me,” she pushed past Heather and Darrin. “Kai! Wait!” Cal jumped up and threw Heather aside and ran down the hall. When he caught up to her, she was halfway to the front door. “Kai, it’s not what it looks like. You have to trust me. They—” “Trust you? Cal! Why would I trust you? I just woke up in your bedroom with my shirt off! If Alex—” she swallowed her words. Shit. “Cal, whatever it is, it’s done. He doesn’t deserve this. I don’t deserve this.” “They’re mates, Kai.” “Who?!” “Sarai and Tyr! They want to be together, Kai. They do this sometimes.” “Do what?!” “Well, they, ya know,” he rubbed the back of his neck. “They spend time together.” Her brows furrowed, “they have sex?” “No! f**k, Kai, they’re not doing that! They like talk and kiss or whatever.” “Or whatever? I just woke up with my shirt off!” “They don’t go further than that!” “Wait. So you’ve seen it? You sit back and watch them?!” “Well no, but—” “Then how would you even know? Oh my god. You’re chaperoning our wolves, Cal. At what point will you stop him from marking her? Huh?” Her voice was getting louder, nearing a shriek as she continued to get angrier. “What would you do if they mated? How would I explain that one? You just…” she started pacing the floor, “you let me walk around not knowing what was going on all the while you knew, you knew, what was going on behind my back!” “This was only the second time, Kai. It’s not like they’re having a full-fledged affair.” Darrin and Heather walked down the stairs and near the entry of the house to watch the two argue in the foyer. As confusing as the situation may have been, Heather didn’t seem like she was ready to leave. More like she was willing to pick up the pieces of whatever happened here. “They’re not having an affair, Kai. They’re f**king mates! It’s not fair for us to do this to them. They want to be together. They want to have something.” He threw his hands in the air while she kept pacing in between her own yelling. “It’s not fair to them that they have to live with the consequences of what we did, Kai. I get it, but I also can sympathize with them. They love one another, Kai. I think we owe it to them to let them have what they have, despite the consequences.”
