A Luna's Power

I rounded the stairs and walked down the hallway until I reached the living room doors. But just as I stood in front of them, I felt something strange—or rather, scented something. Why could I smell… vanilla? I looked around the empty hallway, but there was no obvious explanation for the faint, sweet scent that was now filling my senses. My mouth watered, and my heart started beating a little faster. Was that excitement? I wasn’t sure, but I found it suddenly hard to stay still. Without thinking, I quickly reached for the handle and opened the door. The moment I stepped inside, I was hit by a wave of a scent so overwhelming it nearly knocked me back. Vanilla, strong and intoxicating, filled the room. Where was it coming from? My eyes travelled to the far side of the room, where a red-haired woman stood with her back to me, facing the open doors leading to the garden. The wind blew through her hair, sending that irresistible, intoxicating smell towards me. What the hell? She must have sensed my presence, because she slowly began to turn around. And—f*cking hell—she was beautiful. Her face was an elegant oval, framed by flaming red hair. Pale skin dusted with freckles across her nose, and those deep, chocolate-brown eyes seemed to pull me in. She wore a black top, ripped jeans, boots, and dark gloves on her hands. She looked almost… dangerous. Mate! Oh no. No, no, no. That can’t be true. I refused to believe it, but my wolf—who had retreated into the darkest corners of my mind after Jane died—suddenly surged forward. He was crashing to the surface, desperate for the female standing in front of us. I shook my head, gripping the door handle tighter to keep myself steady. I had never felt him so strong, so overpowering. Mate! Mark her! Mark her now! He was clearly driven by a primal need, terrified she might be taken from us if we didn’t claim her right now. But I wasn’t going to claim her. I had loved only one female—Jane—and she would always be my only mate. “F*cking sh*t,” I heard the luna mutter under her breath. It seemed she had realized what I already knew—that we were mates. But even though every instinct told me to get out of there, my body refused to move. My legs felt like they were glued to the floor. Goddess, why are you so cruel? I wondered bitterly as we stood there, locked in a frozen stare, both of us seemingly paralyzed. Then, her eyes narrowed, and I noticed her hands clenching into tight fists. A sudden, threatening aura radiated from her, and for a moment, it looked like she wanted to kill me. “You have got to be kidding me,” she snapped. I blinked, confused. Why was she angry? She strode towards me with determined steps, her intoxicating vanilla scent growing stronger with each step. It almost made me growl, a possessive instinct rising in response. But her energy—clearly directed at me—was anything but welcoming. It was as if she was daring me to challenge her. “Reject me! Reject me now!” she demanded. She wanted me to do what? *** Lara is determined to prove her strength and independence. She is resolved to show the world that she doesn’t need an alpha at her side, and that as a luna, she can rule on her own. She has sworn never to mate, nor to surrender her power to anyone. Driven by the desire to challenge the system she believes is broken, Lara wants to change the council completely. James, on the other hand, is still tormented by the loss of Jane. Although he strives to heal and fulfill his duty in protecting what the king has built, the pain becomes overwhelming. It isn’t until he meets Lara that he begins to feel something again. However, like her, James has sworn never to have a mate again, and the two stubborn wolves resist the magnetic pull between them, creating a tense and toxic dynamic to cope with their unspoken feelings. Can they overcome their pride and fears, letting go of their vows to be alone? Or will their stubbornness ultimately tear them apart? *Book Seven* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart, An Alpha's Choice and An Alpha's Dark Secret.

A bite from an Alpha King
Updated at Dec 22, 2024, 00:07
I heard the leather of the king’s jacket straining as his powerful body expanded, leaving little room within the fabric. The king was suddenly so close, leaning in and taking a deep breath. He growled in satisfaction as he inhaled my scent. When he pulled back, his eyes had a dark, dangerous glow, and I felt my body tremble for reasons I couldn’t explain. What is happening to me? “So, little one,” he rumbled in a husky, deep voice, “care to explain why my own mate is trying to kill me?” He licked his lips as he eyed me. Suddenly, I became hyper-aware of myself under his gaze. Something about the way he looked at me sent shivers down my spine, though I wasn’t sure if they were from fear or something else. I glanced down quickly, momentarily doubting whether I was actually wearing clothes. I was—dressed in tight black shorts that hugged my strong frame, combat boots, and a sleeveless crop top that barely covered my breasts. No bra. Reassured that I was clothed, I looked back at the king. Yet his eyes still held that hungry, predatory look, and I couldn’t fathom why. “Are you not going to answer me?” he demanded, his tone almost threatening as he tightened his grip around my throat. I gasped, realizing I couldn’t breathe. He was so strong. I had fought countless rogues—powerful male rogues—and boys from my old pack. I had always come out on top. But now, faced with this man, I was utterly powerless. “L-...” I tried to speak, but nothing came out. His grip was too tight, and I grew weaker by the second. The king leaned forward, clearly curious, as if trying to hear what I was attempting to say. In that moment, I saw my opening. With all the strength I had left, I pulled the silver knife from my back pocket and drove it into his chest. He gasped, looking down at the knife in disbelief. His eyes then shifted to mine, filled with horror as I gave him a wicked smile. “Long live my father,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. *** Octavia has spent her entire life training to avenge her father, the late king, who was ruthlessly murdered by the new ruler. From the moment she could walk, her father molded her into a deadly weapon, and on her nineteenth birthday, she finally sees an opportunity to strike back and end the reign of the man who stole everything from her. But when she comes face-to-face with him, those piercing yellow eyes reveal a truth she could never have imagined. Valerio has finally reclaimed his throne, but with it, he must fulfill a promise to the man who helped him seize power—he must marry the alpha's daughter. Valerio doesn’t want a queen by his side, but a promise is a promise. As he arrives to claim his new queen, he receives more than he bargained for. *Book 1-10 Wolves' Fated Mates*

An Alpha's Dark Secret

All I saw was her, sitting beside Chris, smiling that sweet smile of hers. Even a quick glance was enough for me to see her clearly and smell her intoxicating lavender scent from across the room. It almost drove me mad. I nearly lost control, ready to walk over and take her right then and there. Even my wolf was as obsessed with her as I was. Mine... I tried to block him out as I sat down in front of her, acting as though I didn’t notice her, trying to keep my distance. But I knew when she was watching me, and when she spoke, it was like hearing the sweetest, purest melody. Her voice was so soft and light that for a moment, I forgot where I was. Let’s take her. Now! I groaned quietly, pretending not to listen to my wolf. Thankfully, no one seemed to notice. Everyone’s attention was on Kate’s sister, Madeleine. Her name was as sweet as she was, and when I heard Selene say it as she called out to her, it nearly pushed me over the edge, tempting me to do what my wolf wanted. I gripped the armrests of my chair so hard that it creaked under the pressure. I could almost picture myself taking her right here in front of everyone, just so they all knew who she belonged to. James, sitting beside me, glanced at me, clearly hearing the sound of the creaking chair, but I shot him a look that told him to ignore it. He turned away, but just as I refocused on Madeleine, I saw Chris place his hand on her shoulder. F*CK NO! My wolf and I were in complete agreement on this. While Chris was clearly devoted to Kate—and it was obvious she was the only female he wanted, especially after everything they had gone through together—there was no way he should be touching Madeleine so casually. She was mine. I was growling loudly before I even realized it, the sound deep and menacing, causing all the glasses, plates, forks, and knives on the table to rattle and shift. Everyone turned to look at me, but my eyes were locked on Madeleine and the hand resting on her shoulder—his hand, which had no right being there. I shot to my feet, slamming my hands down on the table, glaring at Chris with deadly intent. The message was clear: if he valued his hand, he had better remove it, or I would do it for him. “Do not touch her!” *** Madeleine has stepped into her sister’s place, bound to marry the formidable Alpha Hunter Dayton. This means leaving behind everything she’s ever known, all for her sister’s happiness and to put an end to her father’s troubles with the king and the pack. But after her sister invites her to the castle, Madeleine’s world is turned upside down when she encounters the one person she least expected: her mate. Evan, tormented by a dark past no one knows about, keeps everyone at a distance. He’s resolute in his desire to never find his mate, choosing isolation over intimacy. But when he meets the stunning Madeleine, the pull of fate is undeniable. As much as he tries to resist, the connection between them grows stronger, and he finds himself drawn to her in ways he can't explain. But his past threatens to keep them apart, forcing him to fight his demons… *Book Six* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart and An Alpha's Choice.

An Alpha's Choice

“You didn’t see me. Do you hear me?” she said, her tone laced with warning. Oh, she was a bossy one, wasn’t she? Why did I find that so appealing? I was usually the one in control, restraining others and doing as I pleased, but the image of her tying me to a bed while she took charge sent a jolt of desire straight to my c*ck. Sh*t, just ten seconds with this female, and I was enchanted. I felt like a lost puppy discovering its master… or mistress. She slowly moved her hand away, clearly assuming I wouldn’t say anything. As I remained frozen and silent, she seemed to relax a little. “Good boy,” she said, tapping my chest a few times. What the fuck did she just call me? I thought. That ignited the alpha in me, and as she tried to get up, I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close. She gasped, placing her hands on my shoulders as she attempted to push herself free. “I don’t think you understand who you’re talking to, little mate,” I said in a dark tone, before trailing my tongue over the soft skin of her neck. I felt her shiver in my arms, her scent growing even sweeter. “An assh*le who wasn’t taught not to touch a lady without her permission,” she sneered. I laughed. Oh, she liked to talk back, didn’t she? I was certain we could put her mouth to better use—like around my c*ck. F*cking hell, I could already envision those sweet pink lips wrapped around me, her green eyes looking up at me with innocence. It almost made me lose control. “Is that how you speak to your alpha?” I growled, a smile playing on my lips. “Hah! You aren’t my alpha, and I don’t know what makes you think I’d ever want you as my alpha,” she shot back. Mmm, this female has claws and teeth, I thought. I liked it. Correction: I fucking loved it. “Who the f*ck are you, anyway?” she growled, pulling back. “Does it matter?” I asked. “I know who you are, Kaytlyn.” She looked confused, but I gave her a smug smile. She rolled her eyes, clearly not enjoying this little game. “And you’re supposed to be dead,” I said. “Sorry to disappoint,” she replied, crossing her arms defiantly. She wasn’t sorry at all. In fact, she seemed amused that I was pointing it out. “No, you’re not,” I said. She shrugged arrogantly. “So? What are you going to do about it, whoever you are?” She shouldn’t have asked me that. It was a foolish mistake to challenge an alpha who was desperate to mate with his little mate and whose body was pressing against hers. “How about I get you out of those tight jeans and f*ck you so hard on the floor that your family can hear your screams and know you’re not really dead?” *** Chris is forced into a mating with Madeleine, the young daughter of a powerful alpha and luna with whom his father shares a close bond. His father demands that he leave behind the life he loves and the people he cares for to protect his sister from an even worse fate. Neither Chris nor Madeleine wants the mating, but as Chris uncovers the truth in the house of secrets, he learns that the eldest daughter—whom his father originally intended for him to be mated to—isn’t as dead as he had been led to believe. Kaytlyn has lost everything: family, home, friends. Cast aside as an embarrassment, she quickly learns to survive on her own. But when an attack forces her to return to her parents’ house, she comes face to face with none other than Chris, her true mate. *Book Five* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate and A Luna's Broken Heart

A Luna's Broken Heart

When she didn’t speak, I repeated, “Is there anyone I should call for you? Or would you like to call them yourself?” Her green eyes were filled with sincerity as she shook her head. “There is only me now.” “Now?” I echoed, unsure. She lifted her hand and started biting her nails, seeming anxious. I worried I might have triggered something in her, but then she began to smile. Her smile soon turned into soft laughter. I was taken aback, wondering why she was laughing. When she noticed my confused expression, she stopped, removed her hand, and said, “Sorry, I must look like a crazy person, laughing out of the blue. I’m just so… happy!” “I can see that,” I said, still puzzled by her reaction. “When you asked if I had someone you could call, and I said no, it just made me realize there really wasn’t anyone for you to call, and that made me happy.” “It made you happy not to have anyone to call?” “I know how that must sound, but yes. It did!” For a moment, I wondered if she was truly unhinged, but then I reminded myself I didn’t know her entire story. Perhaps she had escaped an abusive relationship or lost someone who had caused her pain. “Well, I’ll let you get some more rest then. Your doctor mentioned it’s important for you to have plenty of rest and food to aid your recovery,” I said, rising from the bed. “You don’t want to ask me about my story?” she asked, looking puzzled. “I told you, you don’t have to share anything you’re not comfortable with. It’s your story. You can choose to tell it to me, to someone else, or not at all. It’s up to you.” She offered a sweet smile, but as I turned to leave, she grasped my hand. With my support, she slowly stood up from the bed. “What are you doing? You should stay in bed,” I said, concerned, tightening my grip on her hand as she attempted to rise. She exhaled deeply, finally standing on her own. Her green eyes locked onto mine, deep and serious. I wondered what she was about to say, but instead of speaking, she reached out and gently brushed aside the side of my blazer, exposing my shoulder. The white shirt was slightly see-through, revealing a mark that was a painful reminder of a past I was trying to forget. I stared at Cecilia, feeling alarmed, and then quickly pulled back, covering myself. “What are you doing?” I asked. “It hurts, doesn’t it?” she said softly. I looked at her in confusion. “When they mark you and then cast you aside for someone else.” The cheerful demeanor I had seen moments ago had vanished, replaced by a somber, intense expression. Her gaze remained fixed on my shoulder, even though it was covered, before she turned her green eyes back to me. They looked like glass, as if there were no emotions behind them. “I think you’ll want to hear my story,” she said. *** Selene struggles to reclaim some semblance of normalcy after months of isolation from the upper-class world she once thrived in. Cast aside by the king for a traitor’s daughter, she has become the subject of society’s ridicule. However, when a new resident arrives at her home for abandoned and abused mates, Selene is taken aback. This new arrival is unlike the others—she is genuinely happy. Intrigued by the newcomer and her story, Selene begins to see a way to sever her final tie to Valerio and possibly regain her life. But she soon realizes that doing so may come at a steep cost. Rider was presumed dead by everyone, even by his own brother Valerio. Hidden away and deeply scarred by the loss of his family—especially his twin brother Ryker—he has abandoned his former life of violence. Choosing instead a path of healing, he dedicates himself to saving lives rather than taking them. When Rider discovers James, a person of great importance to his brother Valerio, he feels compelled to help bring him home. But convincing James is no easy task, and in the process, Rider is forced to step out of the shadows and confront his past. *Book Four* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love and A Second Chance Mate

A Second Chance Mate
Updated at Dec 12, 2024, 05:15
Mate. No, no, no. That was a hard no! I refused to listen to my wolf, who practically shouted the word in my head. There was only one female for me. No one else! I won’t accept it! I reject her! My wolf growled threateningly in response to my inner protests, clearly disagreeing with me. Traitor, I snapped at him. Our Amelia was the only one for us, so why was he suddenly so interested in this little female in front of us? This half-blood who had appeared out of nowhere. “What’s your name?” Chris asked the little one as he turned to her. This pulled her beautiful brown eyes away from me. Thank the Goddess. But then I noticed her hand in Chris’s, and a surge of anger rushed through me. I was ready to jump between them and beat the hell out of Chris for even touching her. No, she isn’t mine. Yes, she is, my wolf taunted. Shut up, I ordered. I forced myself to stay still. Any movement would make my feelings too obvious, and that would mean admitting I had accepted her. “Isabella,” she said in a small, delicate voice. F*ck, that voice. It nearly brought me to my knees. Her words reached me in places nothing else could, warming me from within. Sh*t, this was dangerous because I wanted to hear her keep talking. I didn’t care about the subject. I just needed to hear that sweet voice. Maybe I could get her to talk about the weather? Or even better, make her moan my name as I buried myself deep between her thighs, marking her as mine… Oh no, this was bad. Very, very bad! I thought. This couldn’t happen! I shook my head, trying to regain control, but my wolf was clawing to be let loose, eager to take this female as ours. Mine. No mine. No ours! I wasn’t having any of it, but unfortunately, the Goddess seemed to enjoy torturing me. Suddenly, Chris asked, “Where do you live? We’ll gladly take you home.” The female’s expression shifted to sadness, and she let go of Chris’s hand. I was relieved by that, but her sudden insecurity and the way she looked ready to run made me shift my weight back and forth. I felt an overwhelming urge to rush over and assert my claim, to be the one comforting her and ensuring her safety. “I-I… You don’t have to. I’m fine,” she stammered, staring at the ground, looking almost ashamed. I knew exactly what her words and her shame meant, and I hated myself for speaking. “You don’t have a home, do you?” *** Isabella is a half-blood seeking revenge for her brother’s death. With the wolves rising up against Valerio, the king of wolves, who they see as weak for falling in love with a traitor, Isabella is given the chance to strike. However, it’s not the king she’s after—it’s Damian, the king’s third-in-command. Damian is haunted by the memories of his late mate, Amelia, and all he wants is to join her on the other side. But fate has other plans. Isabella is the one person who seems capable of breaking through his cold exterior and making him forget his loyalty to his first love. Will Damian cling to his desire to reunite with Amelia, or will his growing need for Isabella become too powerful to resist? And what will happen when Isabella discovers that the one person who ever truly cared for her was killed by her own mate? *Book Three* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King and A Beta's Undying Love

A Beta's Undying Love
Updated at Dec 11, 2024, 22:10
“Lily. Look at me,” his deep, commanding voice said, compelling me to obey. Reluctantly, I lifted my gaze from the floor and met his intense, ocean-blue ones. As soon as our eyes locked, I felt like I was drowning, realizing I had made a mistake by looking into them. “Please. I need to get back to work,” I whispered, though I remained rooted to my spot. I was captivated by his powerful presence, unable to move even if I wanted to. Everything about him was intoxicating—his looks, his piercing eyes, and his strong, refreshing scent. Each breath I took seemed to make my heart skip a beat. I couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be touched by him in more intimate ways. My thoughts turned darker, imagining more than just his hand on my cheek. You need to stop yourself! No, don’t stop! Kiss him. He’s so close! Stop yourself! No, don’t! Yes, stop! My heart and head waged a fierce battle. My head told me to leave, but my heart wanted something entirely different. I knew the rational choice was to listen to my head. So I tried to quiet my heart and prepared to rise, but before I could even move, two strong hands cupped my face, pulling me toward warm lips that hungrily yet gently claimed mine. Valerio’s beta, Garrett, is desperately searching for his mate. Known for his fondness of women and his tendency to believe they are his destined partners, he has long struggled to distinguish between true connections and fleeting infatuations. Fearing he may never find the one meant for him, Garrett’s hope falters. But everything changes when, during a visit to his secret sick mother, he unexpectedly discovers his mate—Lily. Lily is a strong, independent woman who loves caring for others. However, when she learns that her cancer has returned, her spirit begins to crumble. What will happen when these two lost souls cross paths? Can love bloom when two worlds mix, or will their differences keep them apart? *Book Two* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King

The Dragon's Call
Updated at Dec 8, 2024, 00:31
He was tall—at least a head taller than me—and wore golden armor adorned with a dragon emblem on his chest. A sword hung at his side, his hand resting lightly on its hilt. Was he the one who intended to kill me? “Who are you?” I inquired, my voice firm. “My apologies, Princess, for interrupting your wedding night.” The people around him, who were casually rummaging through my father’s belongings, chuckled at his so-called apology. “Your husband is…” He glanced at the man beside me. “Dead.” “Oh, so perhaps I should offer my condolences instead of congratulations,” he mocked. “As if you didn’t know he was dead. You probably ordered it!” I sneered. The man looked taken aback, as if he hadn’t expected me to respond so defiantly. “Who are you?” I demanded again as he took a step closer. “I’m Ashes, son of Acheron, King of The Dragons.” *** Laelia, princess of the North and heir to the human kingdom, finds her fate sealed by her father’s desperate plan. To protect their people from an impending dragon attack, he arranges her marriage to the arrogant Lord Keplin—a man who sees her only as a stepping stone to power. Determined not to be sold off like a pawn, Laelia refuses to submit. But with nowhere to run and her father’s will unshakable, everything is hopeless. Meanwhile, Ashes, the third son of the dragon king, is tasked with a deadly mission: travel to the North with his brothers and kill King James, ending human rule over the North and ensuring the dragons’ safety. What Ashes didn’t anticipate was Laelia—a fiery, defiant princess who refuses to bow, even to him. Can these sworn enemies find common ground, or will their mutual hatred destroy everything? *Book One*

An Alpha King's Revenge
Updated at Dec 7, 2024, 00:01
“Think very hard about what would be smartest right now. Lying or the truth,” I interrupted before he could claim ignorance. I was going to find Connor. Someone had to know where he was, and even if I had to travel the world to punish all those who wanted to get rid of me, then so be it. I would gladly show my power if they needed me to, but I knew once word spread around that I was hunting down the traitors, people would soon fall in line. They couldn’t help themselves. “Well?” I prompted. Julian seemed close to snapping, and I knew it was just a matter of time before… Suddenly, Julian went for the gun, grabbing it and pointing it at me. I just smiled and leaned back in my seat, and the others didn’t move either. “He will bring a better world,” Julian declared. “He will get us all killed. The humans will never accept us. They can’t handle it.” “We will kill them!” he insisted. I shook my head. “Maybe there was a time when we could overpower them. The thing is, they have evolved. They no longer use swords and spears. Now it is guns and missiles. We simply cannot win,” I countered. “And that right there is why no one will ever follow you! You are weak!” he retorted. “Well, if I am so weak, what are you waiting for?” I challenged. “Pull the trigger.” *** The world has spiraled into chaos. Chris is dead, Kate has vanished, Hope has been kidnapped, and Phoenix has lost his mind. In this maelstrom, Octavia and Valerio are desperately fighting to reclaim what’s their power. Despite the overwhelming darkness, none of them are willing to surrender. They are driven by a burning need for vengeance against Connor and the ruthless Dark Soldiers. A Queen's Dark Prison
Updated at Dec 7, 2024, 00:00
“I'm not sorry to tell you that I prefer another female in my bed,” I informed her. She didn’t seem very satisfied with that, glaring at me. I just rolled my eyes and walked away, going into the bathroom, quickly undressing, and getting under the warm water, but I wasn’t there for long. I knew the quicker I got some sleep, the quicker I could get back to work. So I showered at lightning speed before drying off and walking back into the bedroom naked. The cat seemed already to be sleeping, and I quickly got under the covers too. I didn’t care if I pushed her. This was my bed! And I hadn’t invited her, but as soon as I got under the covers, the little furball lifted her head and then got up so she could lie on my stomach. “No!” I protested, but there was no stopping her. She climbed on top of me and started making herself comfortable. She ended up lying down so she could face me, and once again, it looked like she was smiling. “What can I do to get rid of you?!” I grumbled, but she just lay there, closing her eyes and looking so damn comfortable that I didn’t have the heart to move her. I fell down on the bed, sighing deeply, before I pushed an arm under my pillow and got comfortable. The little cat started to softly purr, and I was surprised when the sound actually seemed to calm me. Soon, I was fast asleep. For the first time in a long time, it wasn’t a nightmare that held me trapped. No, I actually dreamt a good dream about my mate. Her, in my arms, naked and still breathing heavily after a good round of mating. Her head was on my chest, and one leg was over mine. I stroked my hand down the side of her face, and she was looking up at me with those unbelievable eyes. I had never seen anything like it, and my own eyes were yellow. But I had grown up with people around me who shared the same color. Octavia was the last of her kind, and she was all mine. *** Octavia has become a mere shadow of herself. After enduring relentless abuse, she finds herself ensnared in her wolf form, unable to claw her way back to her humanity. With each passing day, fragments of her former self slip away, swallowed by the ever-encroaching darkness. She views everyone through a lens of suspicion, leaving a trail of lifeless bodies in her wake. Both virtuous and villainous individuals pursue her, each harboring their own agenda. Connor seeks to harness her as a weapon, while her mate longs to cradle her once more in his embrace. Valerio, consumed by the loss of Octavia, finds a glimmer of clarity in the alliance with Hunter. With renewed focus, he returns to his kingdom, assuming his role as king. Yet, despite this semblance of stability, his heart remains fractured, incomplete without his queen by his side. Desperately, he reaches out to others for aid, knowing he cannot salvage his fractured kingdom alone. But can they rescue Octavia from the clutches of her primal instincts and mend her shattered soul, or is she forever condemned to roam the wild, lost to her own nature? An Alpha's Love And Fire

“How can you know that when you haven’t even tried?” I questioned. She sighed and glanced at the ground for a moment before meeting my gaze again, pain evident in her eyes. How broken she appeared. Despite having her mark removed, she had lost herself. “I pour my heart into everything I do,” she confessed. “I pour my soul into it, and I can’t take that risk because I know the outcome.” “You don’t know,” I insisted. “But I do. I do know.” “Cecilia...” I began. “Don’t... Don’t give me some long speech about why I should give this a chance,” she interrupted. “I can’t...” “Why?” I implored. “Because I’ll fall in love with you,” she admitted. I stood there stunned, surprised to hear her say those words. It was everything I desired—her love. I wanted her to fall in love with me, and I knew she saw it in my eyes. She knew I wanted her to. Okay, forget dinner. We’re taking her straight to the bedroom. No, wait... Forget the bedroom. Use the wall, the floor. She can be on top, so she doesn’t have to lie on it! We’re going to make her fall in love with us right now! I almost wanted to laugh because I felt so elated, knowing without a doubt my mate would fall in love with me. But Cecilia didn’t look happy. She appeared scared, or... terrified. *** Lucian has long yearned to find his mate, but it seems the Goddess has other plans. Despite his hopes that Angela might be the one, bringing a flicker of light into his life overshadowed by tragedy and his uncle's dark secrets, it was not to be. Numbing his pain through fleeting connections, Lucian never expected an ordinary day to change everything. When a mysterious stranger enters his life, he realizes she may not be a stranger at all. Cecilia knows the agony of having her heart ripped from her chest—quite literally. Determined never to feel such pain again, she buries herself in work. Yet, when her luna, Lara, invites her to the castle, she meets Lucian, her second chance. Despite her resistance, she finds herself unable to reject him, but Lucian is not one to give up easily. Can Cecilia overcome her fears and let love in once more? And what will happen when Lucian's dark past refuses to stay buried? A Luna's True Mate
Updated at Dec 6, 2024, 23:47
He was practically drooling, and I found it funny, but then again, it had been a long time since we were affected by the bond like this. “You mean when someone wasn't expected to compliment me?” she asked. I nodded. “I mean a serious and genuine compliment.” “I can’t remember,” she told me. “That long?” She nodded and looked a bit embarrassed, and I moved closer to her, seeing a small smile spread on her lips. “You look incredible,” I complimented. The energy between us shifted as we stood close together. It was thick with tension, and I noticed her gaze briefly flick to my lips before returning to my eyes and then darting away. Perhaps she’d been taught not to linger too long or match her mate’s intensity with her own gaze. “Thank you,” she whispered. “You look very handsome too.” “I appreciate it,” I responded, then turned and gestured for her to follow. “So, where are we headed?” she inquired. “That’s a surprise.” I led her over to where my bike was parked, and she seemed surprised as I handed her a helmet. “A motorcycle?” she remarked. I nodded. “My daughter isn’t the only one who can ride one,” I remarked. Lauren smiled excitedly as she took the helmet, and I donned one as well. After helping her onto the bike, she wrapped her arms around me without hesitation, and my heart quickened. We swiftly rode out of there and into the city, where I parked in front of a bar. As we dismounted and removed our helmets, I allowed Lauren to take in the surroundings. “A bar?” she remarked, smiling at me. I nodded. “I thought you might prefer some greasy food, beers, and a game of pool, but if I was mistaken—” “I already told you that you weren’t. This is perfect!” she exclaimed enthusiastically. Hearing a luna describe it as perfect surprised me, even though I had suggested it. I didn’t recall Victoria being particularly interested in such places, but Lauren was different in so many ways. I thought I had her figured out, but I was clearly mistaken. “Shall we?” I held out my hand, and she took it. *** Lauren is finally free of Connor, but when she awakens from the torment she endured after their connection was severed, she discovers that the Goddess is not yet finished with her. She learns that Logan, Lara's father, is her true mate. However, Lauren is uncertain about her feelings. She has a lot to figure out, not only about Logan but also about who will lead her pack now. Logan hasn't been fortunate when it comes to mates. Victoria, his first true mate, abandoned him. Camilla, the mate he chose, died. Now, he discovers that Lauren, previously mated to the unstable Connor, is his mate. Can he really make it work with her, or will his bad luck affect her as well? *Book Fourteen* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart, An Alpha's Choice, An Alpha's Dark Secret, A Luna's Power, An Alpha's Favor, A Beta's Half-Blood, A Spiritual's Mark, A Queen's Dark Prison, An Alpha King's Revenge, and An Alpha's Love And Fire This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

The Dragon's Fight

“Laelia, just listen—” Samuel began, but I wasn’t having any of it, interrupting him with a shake of my head. Now that I was pregnant again, the fire within me burned even stronger, making my body feel warmer, more powerful. “We’re just trying to ensure that you actually will be crowned queen,” Liam reasoned. “Going to war… many die.” I could see the pain in my brother’s eyes. He had been sent out before, fighting against other humans trying to seize more control over the lands. “I can protect myself.” “You’ve never fought in one!” Liam protested. “Now I will…” “Laelia…” “Am I the white dragon, or are you?” I challenged him. He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment before responding, “You are.” “And am I the one who will sit on the throne ruling the North and the South?” “Yes…” “Then why shouldn’t I fight in this war? I can’t ask these people to give up their lives if I’m not even willing to risk mine!” I declared. “But they aren’t the future queen!” Liam countered. “No, but a queen is nothing without her people! I cannot ask them to risk so much if I won’t fight alongside them. They are my people, and I will protect them with everything I have.” *** Laelia now knows the full truth—her uncle’s betrayal and the depths of his ambition. Together with Ashes and her brothers, she must seek allies across Acardia, assembling an army to challenge her uncle, who now controls both the North and the South. But their journey is filled with obstacles, and rallying people to war proves far more difficult than she ever imagined. Will Ashes and Laelia finally claim the throne together, or will the war cost them everything—including each other? *Book Three* Recommended to first read: The Dragon's Call and The Dragon's Love

The True Northern King - James
Updated at Dec 4, 2024, 23:32
“Happy birthday, Your Highness,” a beautiful older woman said. She curtsied elegantly and then moved aside to make room for a younger version of herself. The girl couldn’t have been older than eleven, maybe. “Serina, bow to the prince. It is his birthday,” the woman instructed. The young girl was dressed in an awful pink dress that made her look like a big pillow. I almost wanted to laugh at the sight. Yet, despite the ugliness of her dress, she was still very pretty. She had long blond hair and strikingly blue eyes. “Happy birthday, Prince,” she said in a small, light voice. I wanted to roll my eyes. Who even had such a light voice? She curtsied as she wished me a happy birthday, then slowly looked up. I smiled, a bit cruelly, and then looked away, trying to appear thoroughly bored by her. She didn’t like that, and I could even hear her huff. For some reason, I enjoyed her reaction. It was fun to see, and I wanted to make her even angrier. Her cheeks turned a funny shade of red. “Say thank you, boy.” My father gave me a hard slap on the back, forcing me to step closer and stand right in front of the little girl. I shot an annoyed glance up at him. He was standing by my side, making conversation with the older lords and ladies, while ensuring that I was polite, greeted our guests, and thanked them for the many presents. My father raised an eyebrow at me, clearly not understanding why I was hesitating. But as I turned back, I saw the girl’s smug look, and I didn’t like it. I wanted to annoy her again, to see her face turn red once more, but instead, I mumbled, “Thank you.” “Louder, James,” my father said. I glared at him over my shoulder, then noticed the smile spreading across the little girl’s lips—Serina, that was her name. What a ridiculous name. It sounded like someone trying to imitate an animal noise but failing miserably. “Thank you,” I repeated, louder this time. She crossed her arms and looked as if she had won some kind of battle between us, but I promised myself this wasn’t over. Who even stood like that? Was she not supposed to be a lady? “Come, Serina, let the prince greet the next guests,” her mother said, gently taking her daughter’s hand and starting to walk away. I watched them go, but then suddenly, Serina turned her head and stuck her tongue out at me. It made me angrier than I could describe. “James!” My father brought my attention back to the guests who continued to arrive, and I quickly masked my anger. However, I promised myself that I would find that annoying little girl later and show her exactly who the future king was. But it took a while before I could break away from all the guests and their cheerful birthday wishes. I searched for the annoying girl as I moved through the large crowd. Where was she? Then suddenly, I saw her. She was dancing on the dance floor with… Henry? *** James—the protective older brother, the peacemaker, and the heir destined to be king. Many believed he would lead the North into a glorious future. But, as it is already known, the North was never his to rule. Betrayed and manipulated by his uncle, James met a tragic end. Yet, behind every great king lies a story. This is his. *Book Four* Recommended to read: A Dragon's Call, A Dragon's Love and A Dragon's fight

“Even if you cut off my head, even if you burn me until I’m nothing but ash, as I did Halia, the crown still isn’t yours. The South and the North will not follow you because they already have a queen.” “The princess?” Sirrush inquired, almost mockingly. I looked up at him, a smug smile spreading across my face, and nodded. “Yes. Laelia. They will follow her.” “She can’t touch us. We’ll make the people bow to us and show them she’s not their ruler. She’s nothing but a small princess.” “You don’t know her like I do,” I replied. “She’s as fierce as the northern wind. She won’t bow, and neither will her people.” The third person, still hidden behind my brothers, shifted uneasily at the mention of Laelia. I wondered who he was. “She’s just one woman. She won’t stand in our way.” “We’ll see about that.” “Are you afraid of a mere woman?” Sirrush taunted. “Me? No, but you should be.” “Really?” I nodded. “Laelia is different. She’s someone people look up to. She’s a force, a symbol, maybe even a goddess in some people’s eyes. She makes people love her without really trying. She gives them hope. Even if you kill me, they’ll look to her. They’ll always follow her.” It was clear, even to me, that my voice was filled with admiration. I truly did admire her. I had from the first time she looked at me. “You’re a fool in love,” Sirrush sneered. “And you’ll die as one.” *** Laelia is tired of sitting idly, waiting for Ashes and her brothers to return. Each passing day chips away at her hope, and when Samuel finally stumbles back, half-dead, she resolves to take matters into her own hands. Determined to save the others from Blaze and Sirrush, she sets out on a perilous journey. Ashes, trapped by his brothers, clings to the thought of Laelia as his only source of warmth. Yet, he knows the end is near. When he is finally freed and Laelia pleads with him to let go of the throne, he cannot. He must reclaim what was stolen, even if it means risking the one person who means the most to him. *Book Two* Recommended to first read: The Dragon's Call

The Prince And The Pagan

“You wouldn’t think such a small woman could be so strong,” Cole said, glancing back at Helena. “I couldn’t even resist.” I laughed, looking up at him. He smiled down at me, leaning in a bit closer. “Want to show me the steps?” he asked. I hesitated, knowing this dance was more intimate than usual, but the alcohol had loosened my inhibitions. I felt a sudden desire to try something different. Smiling cheekily, I turned around and pressed my back against his front. I pushed my long red hair over my shoulder and began moving my hips slowly. As I turned around, my feet glided effortlessly over the dry leaves and branches. I placed my hands on his chest, sliding them down his body and feeling the firmness of his muscles underneath. Cole’s crooked smile grew as I kept one hand on him, walking around him and trailing my fingers lightly across his chest. His gaze was intense, almost hungry. It was the only way I could describe it. As I moved around him, I guided his arms to wrap around me and slid an arm around his waist, showing him how to sway together with the rhythm. The music flowed through us, and the alcohol made it easy to push aside the confusing feelings he stirred in me, letting me enjoy the moment. But then, over his shoulder, I caught sight of someone watching us. *** With his father, the king, dead, Cole ascends to the throne fueled by a burning desire for revenge against the pagans he believes killed his father. His quest for vengeance nearly costs him his life, but when he finds himself living among the very people he sought to destroy, he discovers they are not the monsters he imagined. As he begins to understand their way of life, he realizes why his father never wanted them eradicated. Raven, a pagan whose family was slaughtered when she was a child, was taken in and raised by a new clan. When Cole, the prince and grandson of the man responsible for her family’s death, ends up living with them after a disastrous encounter with the followers of The God of Death, Raven sees an opportunity for vengeance. Yet, as she gets to know Cole, she finds he is not at all like his grandfather. Caught between her thirst for revenge and the truth of Cole’s character, Raven must figure out what truly matters. The Princess's Stolen Body

I froze. My eyes caught the image in front of me, and that was when I remembered what I had seen in my dreams. She had been looking through the mirror in my dream too. I let out a small scream, turning around myself, but no one was there. I turned around again, seeing her look through the mirror. Scared, I took a step back, thinking she would grab me again, but she just stared back at me, not doing anything. I looked behind myself again, and that was when I saw it … This wasn’t my room! This was a very small room with brown wooden walls, and a small door, where you had to duck to get out. I ran over to the mirror again, reaching out for the glass, touching it and … “No, no, no, no,” I whispered, shaking my head. It was not possible! Something like this was not possible! It couldn’t be … but then how else did I explain what I was seeing? How else did I explain she was looking right back at me with the same scared and shocked expression as me?! “Oh no. It can’t be,” I whispered. “I just … can’t.” “Elisa!” I heard someone calling. Elisa?! Was that her name? I looked around, not knowing what to do. What did I say? What did I do?! *** Liana, gifted with the power to see the future, is deceived by a pagan woman when seeking help for her nightmares. The woman tricks Liana into a body swap, leaving her to try to convince her family she is truly the princess, all while trying to find a way back to her own body. Yet they refused to see the truth. Her only hope suddenly lies in Jonah, a thief with a heart of gold who steals from the wealthy to aid the poor. Jonah, who once tried to rob Liana, is taken aback by her unexpected kindness and her decision to release him instead of punishing him. When Liana seeks Jonah's help to regain her true identity, he finds it impossible to refuse her. “It has nothing to do with me,” I replied simply. She groaned in frustration and stepped closer. “So, you don’t care that I have to spend the rest of my life with an old man?” “No,” I replied coldly. “How can you say that? Don’t you have a heart?” No, I didn’t. It had been ripped out by a dark-haired beauty who claimed it, only to crush it and leave me with nothing but a hollow space. “Do you not believe in love?” she asked. I looked at the princess before me—a true beauty. Yet, beneath her surface, there could be something as unattractive as the face of a toad. “Do you?” I countered. She smiled, her golden hair catching the sun’s rays, while the wind gently kissed her cheeks. “Of course,” she replied. “Even if I don’t get to experience it myself. It’s real. I’ve seen it. Haven’t you?” I considered her question for a moment before glancing over her shoulder at the little lake in front of us. “Believing in love is like believing in magic,” I said. “It isn’t real. It’s just another fairytale for kids.” *** William, a steadfast believer in true love, endures seven brutal years of war in the icy northern kingdom of Seeka. His sole comfort is the thought of his beloved Vanessa, who he has promised to marry upon his return. However, at his homecoming, scarred by the loss of a friend and the horrors of battle, he finds Vanessa already married, having chosen a lord over him. Devastated, William vows never to love again. Meanwhile, Princess Grace, the only daughter of King Richard of Etheria, faces a loveless marriage arranged to fill the pockets of her country, who has lost much because of the war in Seeka. Her father’s choice is an old king who promises to restore prosperity, but leaves Grace with only loneliness. As she tries to fight her fate, her heart unexpectedly begins to beat for her new protector, Sir William. But can William, hardened by heartbreak, find solace in this unexpected affection? “What?” he asked. “She is my mate. I need her back, Killian.” “What?” he questioned. “She is my mate. I need her back, Killian.” He lowered his gun and holstered it, then shook his head as he placed his hands on his hips. Seconds later, he burst into laughter, baffling both me and my fighters. Why was he laughing? “Oh, no, no, no, no,” he countered. “She isn’t.” “She is!” “No, she damn well isn’t!” he shouted. I stood up, weary of this back and forth. “Helena is mine.” “She can’t be!” he snarled. “Why not?” “Because Helena is my mate!” he shouted, pointing to himself. “Why do you think I took her?” *** Helena is a lone wolf with a big heart, always believing that hard work will bring good things her way. My Luna's Revenge
Updated at Oct 13, 2024, 09:57
“I’m not going to hurt you,” I leaned in and whispered in her ear. Although her scent had a threatening edge, she went still as I drew near. “Let. Me. Go,” she snarled, but I did not comply. This female wasn’t accepting our mating bond, which wasn’t surprising given the day I’d had. It was merely another bump in the awful road, but I wasn’t going to let her kill me. I was lost and alone, yes, but I refused to let Skylar’s death go unpunished or my father’s betrayal be forgotten. He hadn’t believed his own son and had cast me out without warning. He would pay for that. “Only if you calm down and stop trying to kill me,” I growled. She hissed at me, still attempting to break free, but I was too strong. I glanced around at the other females. They were hesitant, clearly unsure of what to do. “Tell them to lower their guns,” I ordered her. “I’m going to tell them to shoot,” she growled back. “Then we both die. Is that what you want?” She didn’t answer but looked absolutely furious. She wanted me dead, yet she was helplessly pinned beneath me. “Fine! Lower your guns!” The females exchanged uncertain glances, still reluctant to move. “Now!” she commanded. That did the trick, and they all lowered their guns. “Tell them to take three steps back and turn around,” I ordered. If looks could kill, I’d be buried deep in the ground by now. But I couldn’t help but offer a small smile at her angry expression. She resembled a child denied candy. “Take three steps back and turn around,” she said through gritted teeth. The females complied with her command. “Now I’ll take this,” I said, holding her wrists with one hand as I grabbed the knife from her other hand. “Argh!” she screamed, her anger flaring. “You’re going to calm down, and then we’re both going to get up from here.” “You’re dead the second you let go of me.” “What made you think I’d let you go?” *** Accused of murdering a member of his pack, Dean is exiled by his father and forbidden to return. Devastated by his father's betrayal and the loss of Skylar, the woman he believed to be his soulmate, Dean vows to seek justice for both her death and his own wrongful exile. But he's not alone in his quest for revenge. Cara harbors a deep-seated hatred for all males and alphas, fueled by the abuse and betrayal she and other women have endured. Leading a group of women who share her desire for retribution, Cara is determined to dismantle the oppressive patriarchy. However, her plans are thrown into turmoil when she meets Dean, her fated mate. As their paths collide, both driven by a thirst for vengeance, Cara struggles to let go of her past for the possibility of a future with Dean. My Alpha's Pain
Updated at Oct 10, 2024, 01:14
“Let’s go find him,” Mary suggested, clearly understanding what was going on. The three of them left without even checking if I was following. I watched them vanish into the crowd of party people, then I turned around and left. But as soon as I stepped outside into the cold night and pulled out my phone, I realized I was stuck. Aiden had driven us here, and if I called Dean, Dad, or Kyle to come pick me up, everyone would just worry about me… again. I groaned in frustration. What was I supposed to do? I wanted to go home but had no way to get there. Even if I called a cab, they would still see me going inside. I glanced at the people outside, drinking, smoking, and enjoying each other’s company, then looked back at the party raging inside. I had no choice but to go back in. It was freezing out here, and I doubted anyone at the party was sober enough to give me a ride home, nor could I call anyone who was. Reluctantly, I walked back inside, pushing through the crowd, and tried to find my cousin in the sea of people. Where was she? It was impossible to find Mary among so many werewolves, so I sprinted to the nearest staircase, hoping for a better vantage point. Unfortunately, it didn’t help much. Frustrated, I climbed the stairs, thinking she might be on the next floor. The second floor was quieter, but a few people still lingered in the hallway, making it easier to navigate. I checked rooms with open doors but found no sign of my cousin. At the end of the hallway, I turned and ascended another flight of stairs. This level was almost deserted, and the music was faint. Most doors here were closed, but a few were slightly ajar. I peeked into the open rooms until there was only one left—the one with the door slightly cracked. I hesitated before slowly pushing it open. “Mary?” I called out. There was no response, but I spotted something—or rather, someone—sitting on a balcony, their legs hanging over the side, drink in hand. The male turned, and his strikingly blue eyes met mine. Mate… The word was murmured so quietly that I barely caught it, but I did hear it. Not again, I thought, as he swung his leg over the side and took a sip from his glass, his eyes scanning me with obvious desire. No, no, no, not again... *** Bella longs for her mate, especially as her friends and family have all found theirs. At a winter ball, she believes she has finally met her destined partner and surrenders herself to him, only to be heartbroken when he rejects her. Devastated, Bella isolates herself from those who cannot understand her sudden change. When her cousin drags her to another party, Bella encounters a second chance at love. However, she is wary, fearing this new potential mate might be just like her first and tries to keep her distance. Keith, tormented by his older brother’s death, refuses to accept his role as the next alpha. Determined to avoid the responsibility, he deliberately sabotages his reputation in hopes that it might ruin his father's plans of choosing him. Yet, when Keith discovers Bella is his mate, his perspective shifts. He now has a new purpose: to win her heart and prove himself worthy. *Book Three* Recommended to first read: My Cursed Love and My Luna's Revenge

“I don’t care if Marcus gets his hands on me and tortures me for the rest of my life,” Elena admitted. I disliked hearing her speak as if she was willing to throw her life away, and I couldn’t help but growl softly. “As long as my sister is safe, then it will be okay with me.” “Well, it won’t be okay with me!” I shouted, surprising her with the force of my response. Her eyes widened, and her mouth opened slightly. I mentally chastised myself for the outburst. But I had come to realize that I was not only a slave to Marcus but also to the bond I felt with Elena. “Why?” she whispered, her voice soft and confused. I didn’t answer. What could I say? “You’re my mate”? She wouldn’t understand those words, and I couldn’t explain them because I didn’t fully understand them myself. I only knew that I wanted her and only her. “Why?” she asked again, stepping closer. I still didn’t answer, avoiding her eyes. I could feel her drawing even closer, and my wolf struggled to break free, urging me toward her. “Why?” she demanded, her voice deeper and more insistent. “Because you are mine, Elena!” I shouted, cupping her cheeks and pulling her face close to mine. “I can’t breathe without you. I need you near me all the time. Every time you run away, it feels like I’m dying a little more. I want to give you everything I have… even though it isn’t much, I want you to have it all.” I couldn’t stop the flood of words. The one I had yearned for so long was right in front of me, and I wanted her more than anything. *** Elena, a young human girl, is abducted along with twelve others to serve a deranged alpha and his pack. Revenge, an outsider from birth, has always struggled to prove his worth within his pack. Caught in a mess of desire and destiny, Anastasia must figure out how to handle her many mate bonds. But will she choose all of them or only one? **** “What?” I whispered. “Bruce, is that not your old t-shirt?” I took an extra look at Ana before she disappeared down the hallway, and I realized that was my shirt! My heart froze in my chest, remembering when I had given it to her, the day I had come back from Alpha training and seen her bullied. The fabric was very worn, which was why I had not been able to recognize it at first, and that meant the little Omega had been using it! “Holy sh*t,” I whispered. And here we had thought Ana hadn’t desired us as well or even thought much about us, always hiding and trying to get away as fast as she could. All this time she had been sleeping in my old t-shirt! At first, I couldn’t really breathe because the realization shocked and pleased me so much at the same time, but then I felt my entire body shake with delight. I turned to Quinn, who was smiling from ear to ear, something he rarely did. I mostly got small smiles from him, but now he looked absolutely elated like myself. “I can’t f*cking believe this,” I said before we heard Ana return, looking confused at us. “Something the matter?” she asked, and it was obvious because of how sleepy she was, she hadn’t realized what she had put on. “No,” I replied, my heart hammering in my chest. “All right, then, didn’t you have work to do?” “We did. You’re right.” I pushed Quinn forward, and Ana followed us to the door once more. Quinn left first, and just as I was about to pass Ana, I stopped, gazing down at her with a big smile. She looked confused up at me, not understanding what was making me this way. “Is everything okay?” she asked. “Everything is perfect.” “Um… okay.” I stared at her for a moment longer, then I glanced down at her body. “Nice t-shirt,” I told her before walking out, and Quinn began chuckling as I followed him to the car. When we turned, Ana stood frozen in the doorway, watching us with a shocked expression on her face, realizing what she had been wearing. “She is going to think long and hard about that,” Quinn chuckled as we got inside the car. “I couldn’t help it. It looks so good on her,” I said. “I know. It’s going to look better on the floor though,” he said as we drove back to the pack house.

The Dragon Prince - Ladon
Updated at Jul 14, 2024, 21:23
I wasn’t even sure why he wanted to assist me. I could only assume he sought information from me. “Who says I am still offering?” he asked me with a cruel smile on his lips. I glanced at him, noting the way his yellow eyes seemed to darken. “Why don’t you just leave me alone?” I yelled at him. “I am worth nothing to you!” “I don’t believe that,” he said, pushing off the rock and striding over to me again. He placed his hands on the tree trunk and then applied pressure once more. I screamed so loudly that a few birds took flight from the trees. “Stop!” “What was that?” he asked, easing the pressure slightly. “You’re going to tell me everything you know about you and your little human gang?” “F*ck you!” I shouted, tears streaming from my eyes. He shook his head, appearing disappointed in me, and then applied pressure to the tree again. I screamed and screamed, reinforcing the rumors about him. He was cruel. Even more so than his older brother. “Stop! Please, God!” I yelled. “There is no God here,” he said, releasing the pressure once more. *** Ladon, the young dragon prince, is haunted by memories of his past, leaving him feeling hollow and unable to connect with those around him. Despite this, he dutifully helps his brother manage their kingdom. But his life takes a dramatic turn when he comes into close contact with Rivanna, a determined leader of a human group bent on overthrowing the dragons. Ladon believes he has the upper hand, but their encounter leaves him scarred. Rivanna has dedicated her life to the cause of liberating humans from dragon rule, serving the legacy of the late King James, Laelia's deceased brother. She firmly believes humans will thrive without dragons, but her first meeting with Ladon leaves a profound mark on both of them. As their paths cross again and become increasingly intertwined, Rivanna must confront her deepest beliefs: Can she let go of her convictions to follow her heart? *Book Seven* Recommended to first read: The Dragon's Call, The Dragon's Love, The Dragon's Fight, The True Northern King - James, The Mystery Man - Mefan and The Elf King - Rathilion This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

The Elf King - Rathilion
Updated at Jul 10, 2024, 04:53
“Or perhaps your frustration stems from elsewhere? Maybe there’s a woman who holds your heart already?” she probed. I met her gaze, noting the slight smile on her lips and the sparkle of knowing in her eyes. She always saw through me. “I often see Sarya in the hallways,” she remarked. “Sneaking in and out of your room.” I averted my eyes. Sarya doesn't hold my heart, I mused as I drained the last of my wine. “Or perhaps it’s a formidable queen you still think about?” she suggested, already aware of the answer. “She’s already taken,” I admitted. “Then look ahead,” she urged. “Not back.” “I know I need to look forward. I understand what I must do, which is why I’m doing this.” “You make it sound like you’re going to battle,” she remarked. “In a sense, I am. I never fancied these sorts of parties. I know how to fight, but this… this is not my forte, and marriage, I fear I might be even worse at. Nonetheless, the throne requires a successor, and perhaps… perhaps it might just bridge the rift between my father and me.” “So, you sacrifice your own happiness for him?” “What do you want me to do, Mother?” I responded. “I can’t have the woman I want.” “And Sarya isn’t a woman you could want?” she probed. “It isn’t like that between us, and besides, that wouldn’t really please Father.” “No, but she does make you happy.” “Yes,” I acknowledged. “All I want, my son,” she said, drawing closer to me and placing her hands on my cheeks. She was only slightly shorter than me, a tall and striking woman with white hair like mine and pale skin, adorned in a flowing white dress. She exuded a regal air, akin to that of a goddess, a sentiment echoed by many. “Is your happiness.” *** Rathilion, now The King of The Elves, rose to power by standing up for his beliefs and turning his people against his father. This decision has created a rift between him and the former king. In an attempt to mend their relationship and secure a future heir for the elves, Rathilion decides to marry, hoping it might bring some good and help him forget about the lovely Laelia, who is already promised to another. Valindra has never wanted to marry. If given the choice, she would lock herself in a library for the rest of her life. Her undeniable beauty has always attracted unwanted attention, which she despises. She craves solitude, but her father insists she should become the next queen. Despite having sisters, he believes her beauty will capture the king's interest. However, an attack leaves Valindra scarred and undesired. Though she is dragged to a party held by the king out of obligation, her father no longer sees her as a viable candidate. Ironically, her scars only draw the king's attention more. And every harsh word and cold look she directs at him only deepens his intrigue. *Book Six* Recommended to first read: A Dragon's Call, A Dragon's Love, A Dragon's Fight, The True Northern King - James and The Mystery Man - Mefan This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

The Mystery Man - Mefan
Updated at Jul 8, 2024, 21:25
I slowly stood up straight, and his eyes ran over me, from my eyes and down my body, over my bare chest, and for some reason, it felt like something was going on between us, like a force pulling us toward one another... a pull. It was almost electric, and I had no idea how to explain it. I had never before felt anything like it, and then his usual cruel smile spread across his lips. The left side of his mouth curled upward. He crossed his broad arms over his chest, and then he slowly turned around, walking inside again, leaving me confused about what had happened. This was not normal! It had to do with the fact that he had brought me back. How else did I explain my racing heart, the goosebumps on my skin, or the fact that my throat felt so dry that I downed the rest of the wine? How else? I ran one of my hands over my face before rubbing my eyes with two fingers, just trying to shake this feeling... this... this need almost. I found myself almost wanting to go over there, but to do what? What was happening to me? *** Carter has been brought back to life by Mefan after nearly dying in the war against his uncle. Upon his revival, Carter quickly learns the consequences of this second chance at life, feeling almost numb. However, he becomes increasingly intrigued by the mystery man who seems unable to let him go, an attraction that confounds him. Matters are further complicated by his bond to Mefan, which prevents him from straying too far without beginning to die again. Mefan lost his true love many years ago and has watched her reincarnate repeatedly, each time finding her new self lacking. So why does a certain prince suddenly captivate him? He wants to resist the urge to touch or be touched by Carter, but when Carter reveals his connection to Mefan, ignoring these growing feelings becomes nearly impossible. *Book Five* Recommended to read: A Dragon's Call, A Dragon's Love, A Dragon's Fight and The True Northern King - James This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

An Alpha's Favor
Updated at Jul 8, 2024, 01:56
What is that smell? Something musky, like spices. It had my head spinning, and for a moment, I couldn’t focus on anything else. I had to find the source of it. I had never encountered a scent like this before, and then a small gap formed in the crowd. My heart began to race, and I felt strangely hot all over. My skin itched beneath my clothes, and I wanted to whimper at the hungry look this magnificent male shot me with his yellow eyes. “So, this is the famous Angela,” he said. His deep, warm voice resonated within me, tightening my core with need. It was as if he knew exactly what was happening to me. Mate! my wolf cried out. Oh, fuck me… I thought. Yes, please! I gulped, my wolf already scheming ways to get him alone, to mate with us until there was no doubt we belonged to him. A smile spread across his lips, and his eyes held dark promises—promises to fulfill my every need… and I would let him. He looked like he had stepped out of a movie. The sharp lines of his face, his intense yellow eyes, the short blond hair falling slightly forward, and the dark blue suit he wore fit him perfectly. He emanated power. Power and… to me, safety. In that moment, I wanted to run over, let him wrap his arms around me, and tell me everything would be all right. Fuck, this is not the time, I thought. “She isn’t for you,” my brother growled at him, shielding me from the alpha’s eyes. “No?” the alpha asked, sounding surprised. “No!” my brother insisted. *** Angela has escaped the cruel grip of her father and now hopes to stay far away from him. But she is no fool—she knows he is coming for her, determined to use her in his dark plans to overthrow the king. Her life feels like a tangled mess, and things are only made worse by the fact that the ruthless Hunter is her mate, intent on taking her away from her brother. Hunter has never thought his life was lacking anything, until a world-shattering revelation shifts everything. Suddenly, he’s searching for a mate and someone who can give him an heir. What he doesn’t expect, however, is to find his true mate in Angela—and to drag his oldest friend into his plans. Elijah is desperate to escape his past, the life he left behind in England. He’s trying to erase it all, pretending to be the good guy. But when Hunter pulls him back into his world, Elijah realizes he can’t escape—especially not after meeting Angela. *Book Eight* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart, An Alpha's Choice, An Alpha's Dark Secret, and A Luna's Power

“Get out,” I told him. “Are you going to come with me?” he asked calmly. “I already gave you my answer!” He shook his head. “Are you going to come with me, sweet Harper, or am I going to have to take you with kicking and screaming? Because I promised you, I would,” he reminded me. I walked closer and jabbed my finger into his chest. “You don’t get to do anything to me! Or tell me what to do! I make my own choices, and I do not let myself be bullied, so you and my father, and my cousin, and whoever else out there who won’t leave me ALONE can go to hell!” I sneered angrily. “I am not leaving!” “Is that your final answer?” “Do I need to repeat myself?” I inquired, crossing my arms. “I. Am. Not. Leaving!” He nodded slowly, then grabbed his jacket from the back of the chair. “Very well,” he conceded. “Just remember this moment.” “What?” I questioned. “The moment you had a choice,” he elucidated. *** Harper isn't just stubborn. She's fiercely protective of herself, scarred by past disappointments that leave a lasting mark. Determined never to relinquish control again, she decides her life is hers alone to govern, refusing to be swayed by those who claim to know better. She promises herself that she won't succumb to any wolf's allure or be drawn into their world. But she hadn't anticipated the magnetic pull of Archer. Archer isn't kind or gentle. He's shrouded in darkness, a product of Hunter's influence. He's the wolf determined to possess Harper, willing to dismantle and reconstruct her to suit his desires. A Spiritual's Mark
Updated at Jun 28, 2024, 02:20
Sh*t, this was not good, I thought. Even half-conscious as I was, my body reacted to the mental images in my mind. I really was sick, wanting to f*ck the little female with blood on my hands, but what could I say? I had a strange thirst for it and her, and combined, it would be ten thousand times better. Sh*t, I would f*cking leave bruises wherever my hands would dig into her skin as I took her hard over and over. I knew I would never get enough. My c*ck had grown hard just from thinking about it, and that was a pretty good indication that she already had me completely at her mercy. I didn’t like being touched very much. Whoever I did end up screwing was always bound, or I made sure to keep their hands away. But something in me craved to feel her even closer, feel her hands on me, and leave my scent all over her skin like she would leave hers on mine. I would never just want a quick shower afterwards. I would never just think of her as a way to scratch an itch. I would be so f*cking obsessed. “Phoenix?” Chris called. “Yeah?” I asked. “You know we aren’t getting out, right?” he inquired. “You think I am plotting our escape right now?” “Well, you said you were thinking,” he countered. “Yeah well, not about a plan.” “No? Is it a certain person who has come to mind?” he suggested, his voice indicating that he saw right through me. “Something like that...” I murmured. *** Hope's heart is shattered into countless pieces. She can't shake the realization that Phoenix doesn't want her, and the weight of dragging everyone else down with her burdens her with guilt. She knows what she must do. She must leave so Phoenix can return home and reunite with his family. Unfortunately, things are far from straightforward. Phoenix's initial reaction upon seeing Hope is to flee. He's acutely aware of the darkness within him and fears tainting her with his malevolence. Yet, when he is kidnapped and locked away with Octavia and Chris, he discovers an undeniable pull towards Hope. He craves her presence, knowing he can never release her once he finds her again. Can Phoenix overcome his malevolent past and confront his demons, or will he unwittingly entangle Hope in his darkness? The Vampire's Sweet Secret
Updated at Apr 26, 2024, 22:32
Oh, sh*t! At first, I wasn’t sure what it was, but as I inhaled, my heart started to pound faster. When I did it again, it felt like I was drugged with the strongest and sweetest scent I had ever smelled. It was a mixture of rain and forest, something that reminded me of the old days when I used to be a knight and a fighter. It reminded me of the days I had traveled and all those nights under the open sky, surrounded by the vast forests that no longer existed. I couldn’t explain it, but I had never been affected like this by a scent alone. Her sweet fragrance almost overpowered her usual werewolf scent. I turned in my chair, slowly bringing the person into view. I had said she was pretty, but now that she stood in front of me and I got a real look at her and smelled her, I suddenly saw the most beautiful woman I had ever laid my eyes on. Her beauty wasn’t the kind where you would look at her and think she was made to perfection. No, she was hidden well, wearing a black dress that I could see she was uncomfortable in and a blazer too big for her. She had her hair up in a messy ponytail and no makeup on. It looked like she had truly tried to make herself look composed and important, but she seemed like a fish out of water. No wonder she was so unqualified. She definitely didn’t fit in here, and yet I didn’t tell her to go. No, I couldn’t. I felt almost enchanted by her. She couldn’t really look at me, so nervous and insecure she was. I had no idea what she expected to happen by coming here, but I would listen to her anyway, just so I could keep looking at her some more. “Well, Calliope, you have 10 minutes. Use them well,” I said, leaning back in my chair as I gestured for her to take a seat in front of me, and she quickly did. *** Everly, finally liberated from her family's grasp, revels in her newfound role as CEO. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she hires Ava as her assistant, unaware that Ava is fleeing from an abusive mate. Pregnant and desperate for safety, Ava hides her identity in New York, where she secures a job at a tech company, finding solace in her newfound anonymity. Yet fate intervenes when she discovers her true mate: Everly. As their connection deepens, they must confront Ava's past and the looming threat of her former mate. Can their love withstand the secrets that threaten to tear them apart, or will Ava's past destroy their chance of happiness? The Hybrid King's Hidden Mate
Updated at Apr 26, 2024, 22:31
I saw nothing but a pair of boots in front of me at first. I slowly let my eyes travel higher. His legs were three times the size of mine. His upper body was big and broad, and his dark red eyes were staring right at me. Fuck, he is huge, I thought. I knew hybrid males were much bigger than hybrid females, but I had thought the books I read when I was younger were exaggerating. I hadn’t had much to do trapped in that little house my mother had kept me in. So, I had studied a lot about the world I was not allowed to venture into, but the books had not prepared me at all to sit in front of The Hybrid King. He was dressed nicely, but in all black, as if he was mourning. Fuck... my wolf whispered. I wanted to ask ‘what’, but my voice seemed to have gotten lost somewhere. I couldn’t speak. We can’t kill him... she stated. Again, I wanted to ask ‘what’, but I didn’t even get to think the word before my wolf whimpered loudly inside my head, as if in pain. I could see her writhing around like she was fighting something, until suddenly she was lying down, her tail tucked in, and she had a submissive look in her eyes. My wolf was nothing but submissive. She was sassy and quite fierce. This was unlike her, but then she offered me an explanation: Mate. Of fucking course, I growled internally. Of course, the last hybrid male left in the world was my mate! I had really hoped that even the Goddess, whom I had seen my mother pray to every night, would have wanted me, my freedom too. But instead, she had given me to the very person I had despised my entire life because I knew if he knew I existed, he would want one thing from me, and one thing only. Being mates would make it twice as hard to fight him, but I would fight him. My freedom was what mattered. Nothing more. *** In a world where hybrids are nearly extinct, Ronan, the grieving king, swore off love after losing his mate and child centuries ago. Meanwhile, Amber, forced into hiding to escape a predetermined fate, longs for freedom but finds herself ensnared by those who seek to use her for their own ends. As their paths intertwine, both Ronan and Amber face the relentless pressure of a society desperate for an heir. But amidst the political machinations and external threats, an unexpected bond begins to emerge between them—one that challenges everything they thought they knew about duty, destiny, and longing. Caught between their own desires and the demands of their world, Ronan and Amber must navigate a perilous journey to defy fate and forge their own path, all while grappling with the undeniable pull of their forbidden connection. Our Pointless Fights

“What did you do?!” I yelled as I walked closer, hoping to take them from him, before he did more damage. He threw them away, before I could reach the papers, and then grabbed my shoulders. “I love you,” he said. “It isn’t enough,” I whispered. My heart was beating like crazy. His words were bringing it to life again, and it almost wanted to jump out of my chest so it could be with him. Even though my mind didn’t agree, my heart was his. There was no doubt. “It is! It is enough because you love me too.” “I …” “I know you do,” he said. I pressed my eyes together, trying my hardest not to cry, and when I opened them again, he didn’t hesitate, as he kissed me hard. I couldn’t stop the tears as he kissed me. It was too good. It was like coming home. Like this was exactly where I should be. “You can’t,” I said and turned my head, but he didn’t listen. He pushed me down on the couch and then removed his jacket before getting on top of me. He kissed me again, and I responded. I couldn’t help myself. I really f*cking couldn’t. My body was heating up, readying itself, because even my body knew who it belonged to, and for a moment I didn’t want to fight it. I just wanted to listen. *** Betrayal weighs heavily on Megan's heart as she grapples with Nathan's initial intentions behind their marriage. Our Stupid Feelings
Updated at Apr 26, 2024, 22:28
“I haven’t had sex in over six months, assh*le. All because you! So, yes, I am slightly pissed.” I didn’t really plan to admit this. I mean, I had no plans of marrying Jax, but my words could easily be interpreted in ways that they shouldn’t be, and I could see they surprised him. “Thought you had switched me out for someone else,” he said, as he started to smile that evil smile again. I was so angry right now. He was purposely pushing me, and he knew what it was doing to me. Like him, I didn’t like to be cornered. I didn’t like that someone was forcing me to admit some things I wasn’t ready to really talk about. I was a private person. He was too. Maybe why we worked so well together, sadly, it also made it impossible for us to really let the other in. We didn’t like it when things came too close, but Jax had clearly spent those six months working on that, because now he seemed all in. “I haven’t seen Luke since I went out with Megan, shortly after she came back to Chicago,” I told him. He seemed even more surprised. “And I haven’t slept with anyone else. So, I am not going to apologize if I feel slightly hurt that you are now rejecting me, when it is clear that you did this to me! You f*cked with my head!” “What happened?” he just asked. “What?” “That night? Why did that night change anything for you?” he asked me, making me swallow hard. I didn’t remember that much about that night, but I did remember what I confessed to Megan. There was no way I was telling him, though. He was playing with me, and I didn’t like that, so there was no way I was giving him anything. “That doesn’t matter,” I said. “You are the one being a jerk tonight.” “For taking you out?” “You know what you are doing!” “Oh?” he just asked. I wanted to pull my hair because he was pushing me a lot tonight. Normally, he wouldn’t go so hard on me. I loved our banter. I loved our teasing and challenging the other, but things were different tonight. He was purposely trying to push me to my limits, and I didn’t like it. *** Kat is a firm believer in the solo life, convinced that relationships only complicate matters. She's content with her independence and sees no reason to change, until Jax makes her a promise that challenges everything she thought she knew. Despite her best efforts to keep her guard up, Jax's mere presence quickens her heartbeat, leaving her questioning her resolve. Meanwhile, Jax is certain that Kat is the one for him. He's determined to make her his wife, but he knows it won't be easy. With Kat's tendency to run, he's prepared to work hard to win her over and seal the deal with a ring. As their romantic game unfolds, can they navigate the complexities of marriage? Will Kat give in to Jax's advances and accept his proposal, or will her fear of commitment drive her to flee once again? Our Loveless Marriage
Updated at Apr 25, 2024, 22:47
“Why is it so hard for you to even try?! You are making me play this cruel game!” she snarled lowly. “I hate lying!” “Well, you just have to suck it up,” I told her. She let her arms fall, only to clench her hands into tight fists like she was ready to punch me. For a second, I believed she might. “Why am I the only one having to suck it up?!” she asked. “Why can’t you give something in return?! Like going to the Bahamas and not abandoning me like some sad little wife, whose own husband can’t even stand to be with her for one second longer than he has to?!” I walked closer to her, ready to tell her that there was a big difference between us spending time together because we had to and because we chose to. But then I heard voices coming closer, and instead, I wrapped my arms around Megan, pulling her against me, before turning us and pressing her up against the counter. “What are you-“ But she didn’t get to finish that sentence before I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers. We hadn’t kissed before. She hadn’t let me at the wedding and instead turned her head at the last second, so I kissed her cheek. Now she had no chance to prepare, and I claimed her lips in a hard and hungry kiss, that made her completely melt into me, and it gave me a chance to deepen it, letting my tongue slide into her mouth and tangle with hers. Damn, she had a sweetness to her. It was twirled together with the chocolate cake she had eaten and the small glass of red wine. She let out this soft moan too, just before the doors opened, and in came a drunk and laughing Mrs. Johnson. *** Megan, the second daughter of the prestigious Johnson family and heiress to a vast fortune, is thrust into an arranged marriage with Nathan, the son of a family friend. Nathan, driven by ambition and indifferent to Megan, manipulates her to regain his family's favor. Despite her reservations, Megan reluctantly goes along with Nathan's plans, hoping to alleviate the strain of their forced union. As they navigate the facade of their relationship, Megan struggles to fake affection, holding onto the hope that their pretense might eventually lead to genuine love. However, as emotions become entangled and Nathan's possessiveness emerges, Megan begins to question whether his indifference might be preferable to his unpredictable displays of affection. With the fear of inevitable heartbreak looming, Megan wrestles with the concept of love and its potential to wreak havoc. Amidst the complexities of their marriage, Megan and Nathan face the daunting task of forging a real connection amidst the shadows of obligation and manipulation. Can they overcome the weight of expectation and deceit to find true love, or will their relationship unravel before Nathan's anticipated ascension to power as his family's successor?
