His Evil-Sweet Luna
Updated at Sep 20, 2024, 21:47
“Still here?” he whispered in my ear, and my eyes sprung open. That was not Josh’s voice! Startled, I turned my head, locking eyes with a stranger whose expression mirrored my own shock. What was happening? This wasn’t my bedroom! I instinctively pushed the stranger away and glanced around, my mind racing to make sense of the situation. Memories flooded back—waking up alone, heading to the kitchen for breakfast—and then... choking. Someone must have found me, right? That would explain why I was here, in this bed. I was alive! “Sienna?” “Sienna?” I repeated, meeting the stranger’s bewildered gaze. Something was terribly wrong. I leaped from the bed, clutching the sheets around me as I dashed into the bathroom. A voice inside me urged me to find a mirror. I flicked on the lights and rushed to the sink, my heart pounding. My eyes widened as I stared at the reflection before me. That wasn’t me! *** Summer, the kind-hearted and destined queen, faces an unexpected twist when a mysterious tea plunges her into darkness. Awakening in the body of a notorious and despised Luna, Summer finds herself in a perilous new reality filled with enemies. Beside her is Ashton, her new mate, who has been scarred by years of abuse from the very person she has now become. As she strives to win Ashton’s trust and love, Summer must uncover the truth behind her death. But will she find a way back to her former life, or is she doomed to remain the evil Luna, surrounded by enemies? #starywritingacademyVI This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

Their Runaway Omega
Updated at Sep 18, 2024, 20:51
Anastasia, cursed by her father's betrayal, is forced to the bottom of her werewolf pack despite her omega genes, which are supposed to protect and attract mates. The young alpha, Bruce, patiently waits for her to turn 18 to claim her, but Anastasia dreams only of escape. After her mother's death, she prepares to leave, but before she can act, Bruce’s desperate actions force her into a bond with him and his beta, Quinn. When Bruce is dispatched on a mission, Anastasia is taken and removed from the packl. She finds refuge working for the enigmatic hybrid CEO, Gabriel, who is immediately captivated by her. But her life becomes more complicated when she meets Lukas, the cold lycan crown prince, at a high-society event, and their undeniable chemistry challenges everything she has built. Caught in a mess of desire and destiny, Anastasia must figure out how to handle her many mate bonds. But will she choose all of them or only one? **** “What?” I whispered. “Bruce, is that not your old t-shirt?” I took an extra look at Ana before she disappeared down the hallway, and I realized that was my shirt! My heart froze in my chest, remembering when I had given it to her, the day I had come back from Alpha training and seen her bullied. The fabric was very worn, which was why I had not been able to recognize it at first, and that meant the little Omega had been using it! “Holy sh*t,” I whispered. And here we had thought Ana hadn’t desired us as well or even thought much about us, always hiding and trying to get away as fast as she could. All this time she had been sleeping in my old t-shirt! At first, I couldn’t really breathe because the realization shocked and pleased me so much at the same time, but then I felt my entire body shake with delight. I turned to Quinn, who was smiling from ear to ear, something he rarely did. I mostly got small smiles from him, but now he looked absolutely elated like myself. “I can’t f*cking believe this,” I said before we heard Ana return, looking confused at us. “Something the matter?” she asked, and it was obvious because of how sleepy she was, she hadn’t realized what she had put on. “No,” I replied, my heart hammering in my chest. “All right, then, didn’t you have work to do?” “We did. You’re right.” I pushed Quinn forward, and Ana followed us to the door once more. Quinn left first, and just as I was about to pass Ana, I stopped, gazing down at her with a big smile. She looked confused up at me, not understanding what was making me this way. “Is everything okay?” she asked. “Everything is perfect.” “Um… okay.” I stared at her for a moment longer, then I glanced down at her body. “Nice t-shirt,” I told her before walking out, and Quinn began chuckling as I followed him to the car. When we turned, Ana stood frozen in the doorway, watching us with a shocked expression on her face, realizing what she had been wearing. “She is going to think long and hard about that,” Quinn chuckled as we got inside the car. “I couldn’t help it. It looks so good on her,” I said. “I know. It’s going to look better on the floor though,” he said as we drove back to the pack house.

An Alpha's Choice
Updated at Sep 14, 2024, 09:53
“You didn’t see me. You hear me?” she asked with a warning in her tone. Oh, she was a bossy one, wasn’t she? Why did I like that so much? I was always the one in control, strapping people down and doing with them as I pleased, but an image of her having me tied down to the bed, as she did to me as she pleased, had my c*ck straining painfully against the zipper in my pants. Sh*t, ten seconds with this female and I was enchanted. I was like a little lost puppy finding a master … or mistress. She slowly moved her hand, thinking I would not say anything, and as I stayed frozen and quiet, she seemed to relax a little. “Good boy,” she said, clapping me on my chest a few times. What the f*ck did she just call me? Okay, that awoke the f*cking alpha in me, and as she tried to get up, I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close. She gasped, before she placed her hands on my shoulders, trying to push herself free. “I don’t think you understand who you are talking to, little mate,” I said in a dark tone, before licking over the soft skin on her neck. I felt her shiver in my arms, and her scent turning even sweeter. “An a**hole that was not taught to not touch a lady without her permission,” she sneered. It had me laughing. Oh, she liked to talk back, didn’t she? I was certain we could put her mouth to better use, like around my c*ck. F*cking hell, I could already see those sweet pink lips spread around the shaft, as her green eyes looked up at me so sweetly. It almost had me coming in my pants. “Is that how you speak to your alpha?” I growled with a smile on my lips. “Hah! You aren’t my alpha, and I don’t know what makes you think I’ll ever want you as my alpha,” she said. Mhmm, this female had claws and teeth. I liked it. Correction. I f*cking loved it. It would be a fight getting her to submit and it would be a fight I would love. She would bite and scratch before I could have her on her knees as I f*cked her from behind, but let us not fool ourselves. We all knew the females ran the show. I would never touch her if she told me she didn’t want me to. I wouldn’t do anything she didn’t want me to, but even now, while she told me to f*ck off, her hands were grabbing tightly onto my jacket. She wasn’t pushing me away anymore but wanted me closer. I wasn’t sure if she even noticed it. She still had a slight spicy smell mixed with her sweet scent. She was annoyed. “Who the f*ck are you even?” she growled, pulling back. “Does it matter?” I asked. “I know who you are, Kaytlyn.” She looked at me confused, but I just gave her a smug smile. She rolled her eyes, clearly not liking this little game. “And you are supposed to be dead,” I said. “Sorry to disappoint,” she said and crossed her arms. She was not sorry at all. She even seemed amused that I was pointing it out. “No, you’re not,” I said. She shrugged arrogantly. “So? What are you going to do about it, whoever you are?" *** Chris is forced to be mated to Madeleine, the young daughter of a powerful alpha and luna, who his father is close with. Trapped Between Alpha Mates
Updated at Aug 30, 2024, 05:34
“What?” he asked. “She is my mate. I need her back, Killian.” “What?” he questioned. “She is my mate. I need her back, Killian.” He lowered his gun and holstered it, then shook his head as he placed his hands on his hips. Seconds later, he burst into laughter, baffling both me and my fighters. Why was he laughing? “Oh, no, no, no, no,” he countered. “She isn’t.” “She is!” “No, she damn well isn’t!” he shouted. I stood up, weary of this back and forth. “Helena is mine.” “She can’t be!” he snarled. “Why not?” “Because Helena is my mate!” he shouted, pointing to himself. “Why do you think I took her?” *** Helena is a lone wolf with a big heart, always believing that hard work will bring good things her way. But on her eighteenth birthday, her life shatters. She is assaulted by the father of her true mate, only to be rejected and cast aside by her mate, who refuses to accept a lone wolf and servant as his Luna. The pain of rejection changes Helena forever. Years later, tragedy strikes again when her mother dies in a car crash, leaving Helena with nothing but a letter instructing her to find a man who can help her. Her search leads to a dead end—or so she thinks. Instead, she discovers the nephew of the man she's looking for, Wylder, who turns out to be her second chance mate. Despite her reluctance, Wylder insists she stay with him. Yet their fragile peace is shattered when Wylder’s pack is attacked, and Helena is kidnapped by Wylder's mortal enemy, Killian. Waking up after being taken, Helena learns that Killian is her mate too. Caught between two alphas who refuse to share, Helena finds herself in the midst of a battle she never expected. My Cursed Love
Updated at Aug 29, 2024, 01:26
“I don’t care if Marcus gets his hands on me and tortures me for the rest of my life,” Elena admitted. I disliked hearing her speak as if she was willing to throw her life away, and I couldn’t help but growl softly. “As long as my sister is safe, then it will be okay with me.” “Well, it won’t be okay with me!” I shouted, surprising her with the force of my response. Her eyes widened, and her mouth opened slightly. I mentally chastised myself for the outburst. But I had come to realize that I was not only a slave to Marcus but also to the bond I felt with Elena. “Why?” she whispered, her voice soft and confused. I didn’t answer. What could I say? “You’re my mate”? She wouldn’t understand those words, and I couldn’t explain them because I didn’t fully understand them myself. I only knew that I wanted her and only her. “Why?” she asked again, stepping closer. I still didn’t answer, avoiding her eyes. I could feel her drawing even closer, and my wolf struggled to break free, urging me toward her. “Why?” she demanded, her voice deeper and more insistent. “Because you are mine, Elena!” I shouted, cupping her cheeks and pulling her face close to mine. “I can’t breathe without you. I need you near me all the time. Every time you run away, it feels like I’m dying a little more. I want to give you everything I have… even though it isn’t much, I want you to have it all.” I couldn’t stop the flood of words. The one I had yearned for so long was right in front of me, and I wanted her more than anything. *** Elena, a young human girl, is abducted along with twelve others to serve a deranged alpha and his pack. As she makes a desperate escape, she nearly dies, only to be saved by a mysterious stranger with red eyes. From that moment on, he becomes enchanted by her. Revenge, an outsider from birth, has always struggled to prove his worth within his pack. Despite his efforts to lead and protect, he never anticipated that he would find himself tied to a human—let alone one as captivating as Elena. Bound by destiny and unable to release her from his heart, Revenge must navigate the complexities of his newfound bond while fulfilling his role as a leader. But can he, a cursed child, ever overpower the demons within him? *Book One*

The Dragon Prince - Ladon
Updated at Jul 12, 2024, 22:29
I wasn’t even sure why he wanted to assist me. I could only assume he sought information from me. “Who says I am still offering?” he asked me with a cruel smile on his lips. I glanced at him, noting the way his yellow eyes seemed to darken. “Why don’t you just leave me alone?” I yelled at him. “I am worth nothing to you!” “I don’t believe that,” he said, pushing off the rock and striding over to me again. He placed his hands on the tree trunk and then applied pressure once more. I screamed so loudly that a few birds took flight from the trees. “Stop!” “What was that?” he asked, easing the pressure slightly. “You’re going to tell me everything you know about you and your little human gang?” “F*ck you!” I shouted, tears streaming from my eyes. He shook his head, appearing disappointed in me, and then applied pressure to the tree again. I screamed and screamed, reinforcing the rumors about him. He was cruel. Even more so than his older brother. “Stop! Please, God!” I yelled. “There is no God here,” he said, releasing the pressure once more. *** Ladon, the young dragon prince, is haunted by memories of his past, leaving him feeling hollow and unable to connect with those around him. Despite this, he dutifully helps his brother manage their kingdom. But his life takes a dramatic turn when he comes into close contact with Rivanna, a determined leader of a human group bent on overthrowing the dragons. Ladon believes he has the upper hand, but their encounter leaves him scarred. Rivanna has dedicated her life to the cause of liberating humans from dragon rule, serving the legacy of the late King James, Laelia's deceased brother. She firmly believes humans will thrive without dragons, but her first meeting with Ladon leaves a profound mark on both of them. As their paths cross again and become increasingly intertwined, Rivanna must confront her deepest beliefs: Can she let go of her convictions to follow her heart? *Book Seven* Recommended to first read: The Dragon's Call, The Dragon's Love, The Dragon's Fight, The True Northern King - James, The Mystery Man - Mefan and The Elf King - Rathilion This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

A Luna's True Mate
Updated at Jul 6, 2024, 07:54
He was practically drooling, and I found it funny, but then again, it had been a long time since we were affected by the bond like this. “You mean when someone wasn't expected to compliment me?” she asked. I nodded. “I mean a serious and genuine compliment.” “I can’t remember,” she told me. “That long?” She nodded and looked a bit embarrassed, and I moved closer to her, seeing a small smile spread on her lips. “You look incredible,” I complimented. The energy between us shifted as we stood close together. It was thick with tension, and I noticed her gaze briefly flick to my lips before returning to my eyes and then darting away. Perhaps she’d been taught not to linger too long or match her mate’s intensity with her own gaze. “Thank you,” she whispered. “You look very handsome too.” “I appreciate it,” I responded, then turned and gestured for her to follow. “So, where are we headed?” she inquired. “That’s a surprise.” I led her over to where my bike was parked, and she seemed surprised as I handed her a helmet. “A motorcycle?” she remarked. I nodded. “My daughter isn’t the only one who can ride one,” I remarked. Lauren smiled excitedly as she took the helmet, and I donned one as well. After helping her onto the bike, she wrapped her arms around me without hesitation, and my heart quickened. We swiftly rode out of there and into the city, where I parked in front of a bar. As we dismounted and removed our helmets, I allowed Lauren to take in the surroundings. “A bar?” she remarked, smiling at me. I nodded. “I thought you might prefer some greasy food, beers, and a game of pool, but if I was mistaken—” “I already told you that you weren’t. This is perfect!” she exclaimed enthusiastically. Hearing a luna describe it as perfect surprised me, even though I had suggested it. I didn’t recall Victoria being particularly interested in such places, but Lauren was different in so many ways. I thought I had her figured out, but I was clearly mistaken. “Shall we?” I held out my hand, and she took it. *** Lauren is finally free of Connor, but when she awakens from the torment she endured after their connection was severed, she discovers that the Goddess is not yet finished with her. She learns that Logan, Lara's father, is her true mate. However, Lauren is uncertain about her feelings. She has a lot to figure out, not only about Logan but also about who will lead her pack now. Logan hasn't been fortunate when it comes to mates. Victoria, his first true mate, abandoned him. Camilla, the mate he chose, died. Now, he discovers that Lauren, previously mated to the unstable Connor, is his mate. An Alpha King's Revenge
Updated at Jul 6, 2024, 07:26
“Think very hard about what would be smartest right now. Lying or the truth,” I interrupted before he could claim ignorance. I was going to find Connor. Someone had to know where he was, and even if I had to travel the world to punish all those who wanted to get rid of me, then so be it. I would gladly show my power if they needed me to, but I knew once word spread around that I was hunting down the traitors, people would soon fall in line. They couldn’t help themselves. “Well?” I prompted. Julian seemed close to snapping, and I knew it was just a matter of time before… Suddenly, Julian went for the gun, grabbing it and pointing it at me. I just smiled and leaned back in my seat, and the others didn’t move either. “He will bring a better world,” Julian declared. “He will get us all killed. The humans will never accept us. They can’t handle it.” “We will kill them!” he insisted. I shook my head. “Maybe there was a time when we could overpower them. The thing is, they have evolved. They no longer use swords and spears. Now it is guns and missiles. We simply cannot win,” I countered. “And that right there is why no one will ever follow you! You are weak!” he retorted. “Well, if I am so weak, what are you waiting for?” I challenged. “Pull the trigger.” *** The world has spiraled into chaos. Chris is dead, Kate has vanished, Hope has been kidnapped, and Phoenix has lost his mind. In this maelstrom, Octavia and Valerio are desperately fighting to reclaim what’s their power. Despite the overwhelming darkness, none of them are willing to surrender. They are driven by a burning need for vengeance against Connor and the ruthless Dark Soldiers. The end of this brutal war is within sight, but survival is uncertain. Will our heroes emerge unscathed, or will more lives be claimed by the darkness? A Beta's Half-Blood

“Get out,” I told him. “Are you going to come with me?” he asked calmly. “I already gave you my answer!” He shook his head. “Are you going to come with me, sweet Harper, or am I going to have to take you with kicking and screaming? Because I promised you, I would,” he reminded me. I walked closer and jabbed my finger into his chest. “You don’t get to do anything to me! Or tell me what to do! I make my own choices, and I do not let myself be bullied, so you and my father, and my cousin, and whoever else out there who won’t leave me ALONE can go to hell!” I sneered angrily. “I am not leaving!” “Is that your final answer?” “Do I need to repeat myself?” I inquired, crossing my arms. “I. Am. Not. Leaving!” He nodded slowly, then grabbed his jacket from the back of the chair. “Very well,” he conceded. “Just remember this moment.” “What?” I questioned. “The moment you had a choice,” he elucidated. *** Harper isn't just stubborn. She's fiercely protective of herself, scarred by past disappointments that leave a lasting mark. Determined never to relinquish control again, she decides her life is hers alone to govern, refusing to be swayed by those who claim to know better. She promises herself that she won't succumb to any wolf's allure or be drawn into their world. But she hadn't anticipated the magnetic pull of Archer. Archer isn't kind or gentle. He's shrouded in darkness, a product of Hunter's influence. He's the wolf determined to possess Harper, willing to dismantle and reconstruct her to suit his desires. An Alpha's Love And Fire
Updated at Mar 2, 2023, 02:50
“How can you know that when you haven’t even tried?” I questioned. She sighed and glanced at the ground for a moment before meeting my gaze again, pain evident in her eyes. How broken she appeared. Despite having her mark removed, she had lost herself. “I pour my heart into everything I do,” she confessed. “I pour my soul into it, and I can’t take that risk because I know the outcome.” “You don’t know,” I insisted. “But I do. I do know.” “Cecilia...” I began. “Don’t... Don’t give me some long speech about why I should give this a chance,” she interrupted. “I can’t...” “Why?” I implored. “Because I’ll fall in love with you,” she admitted. I stood there stunned, surprised to hear her say those words. It was everything I desired—her love. I wanted her to fall in love with me, and I knew she saw it in my eyes. She knew I wanted her to. Okay, forget dinner. We’re taking her straight to the bedroom. No, wait... Forget the bedroom. Use the wall, the floor. She can be on top, so she doesn’t have to lie on it! We’re going to make her fall in love with us right now! I almost wanted to laugh because I felt so elated, knowing without a doubt my mate would fall in love with me. But Cecilia didn’t look happy. She appeared scared, or... terrified. *** Lucian has long yearned to find his mate, but it seems the Goddess has other plans. An Alpha's Favor
Updated at Mar 1, 2023, 08:24
What was that smell? Something … musky or like spices. It had my head spinning and for a moment it was like I couldn’t focus on anything else. I just had to find the source of it. I had never tried scenting anything like this before, and then a small gap formed in the big crowd. My heart started to beat faster, while I felt strangely hot all over. My skin suddenly itched from my clothes, and I wanted to whimper from the hungry look this magnificent male was shooting me with his yellow eyes. “So, this is the famous Angela,” he said. His deep and warm voice went straight to my core, making it tighten with need, and it was like he knew what was going on with me. Mate! Oh f*ck me … Yes please! I gulped, my wolf already planning on ways we could get him alone, so he could mate with us good and hard, until there was no doubt that we were his. A smile spread on his lips, and he seemed to have a look in his eyes that held dark promises … promises of fulfilling my every need. And I would let him. He was something out of a movie. The sharp lines that formed his face, his intense yellow eyes, the short blond hair standing a little in the front, and the dark blue suit he was wearing fit him perfectly and he emanated power. Power and, to me, safety. In a way, I found myself wanting to run right over there and have him hug me close to his body while telling me everything was going to be alright. Maybe he would even growl a low, deep tone, that would make me feel all centered and good again. Chris had done that when I had been a kid and fallen down and got hurt, but I didn’t want it from my brother. I wanted it from this intense and intimidating alpha, who apparently was my mate. F*ck, this was not the time! “She isn’t for you,” my brother growled at him, shielding me from his eyes. “No?” he asked. “No!” *** Angela has escaped the evil claws of her father, and now hopes to be able to stay far away from him, but she is no fool and knows he is coming for her, using her for his evil plans to take down the king. Her life feels so messy, and it doesn't help the cruel Hunter is her mate and wants to take her away from her brother. Hunter has never thought his life was missing anything, but then he learns something world-shattering and is suddenly on the lookout for a mate and someone who can give him an heir, he just didn't expect to find his real mate and even ends up pulling his oldest friend into his plans. Elijah is trying to escape his old life, the life he had in England. He is trying to erase the past by pretending to be the good guy, but then Hunter suddenly pulls him into his world again, and he can't escape, not now ... not after meeting Angela. *Book Eight* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart, An Alpha's Choice, An Alpha's Dark Secret, and A Luna's Power

A Queen's Dark Prison

“I'm not sorry to tell you that I prefer another female in my bed,” I informed her. She didn’t seem very satisfied with that, glaring at me. I just rolled my eyes and walked away, going into the bathroom, quickly undressing, and getting under the warm water, but I wasn’t there for long. I knew the quicker I got some sleep, the quicker I could get back to work. So I showered at lightning speed before drying off and walking back into the bedroom naked. The cat seemed already to be sleeping, and I quickly got under the covers too. I didn’t care if I pushed her. This was my bed! And I hadn’t invited her, but as soon as I got under the covers, the little furball lifted her head and then got up so she could lie on my stomach. “No!” I protested, but there was no stopping her. She climbed on top of me and started making herself comfortable. She ended up lying down so she could face me, and once again, it looked like she was smiling. “What can I do to get rid of you?!” I grumbled, but she just lay there, closing her eyes and looking so damn comfortable that I didn’t have the heart to move her. I fell down on the bed, sighing deeply, before I pushed an arm under my pillow and got comfortable. The little cat started to softly purr, and I was surprised when the sound actually seemed to calm me. Soon, I was fast asleep. For the first time in a long time, it wasn’t a nightmare that held me trapped. No, I actually dreamt a good dream about my mate. Her, in my arms, naked and still breathing heavily after a good round of mating. Her head was on my chest, and one leg was over mine. I stroked my hand down the side of her face, and she was looking up at me with those unbelievable eyes. I had never seen anything like it, and my own eyes were yellow. But I had grown up with people around me who shared the same color. Octavia was the last of her kind, and she was all mine. *** Octavia has become a mere shadow of herself. After enduring relentless abuse, she finds herself ensnared in her wolf form, unable to claw her way back to her humanity. With each passing day, fragments of her former self slip away, swallowed by the ever-encroaching darkness. She views everyone through a lens of suspicion, leaving a trail of lifeless bodies in her wake. Both virtuous and villainous individuals pursue her, each harboring their own agenda. Connor seeks to harness her as a weapon, while her mate longs to cradle her once more in his embrace. Valerio, consumed by the loss of Octavia, finds a glimmer of clarity in the alliance with Hunter. With renewed focus, he returns to his kingdom, assuming his role as king. Yet, despite this semblance of stability, his heart remains fractured, incomplete without his queen by his side. Desperately, he reaches out to others for aid, knowing he cannot salvage his fractured kingdom alone. But can they rescue Octavia from the clutches of her primal instincts and mend her shattered soul, or is she forever condemned to roam the wild, lost to her own nature? A Spiritual's Mark

Sh*t, this was not good, I thought. Even half-conscious as I was, my body reacted to the mental images in my mind. I really was sick, wanting to f*ck the little female with blood on my hands, but what could I say? I had a strange thirst for it and her, and combined, it would be ten thousand times better. Sh*t, I would f*cking leave bruises wherever my hands would dig into her skin as I took her hard over and over. I knew I would never get enough. My c*ck had grown hard just from thinking about it, and that was a pretty good indication that she already had me completely at her mercy. I didn’t like being touched very much. Whoever I did end up screwing was always bound, or I made sure to keep their hands away. But something in me craved to feel her even closer, feel her hands on me, and leave my scent all over her skin like she would leave hers on mine. I would never just want a quick shower afterwards. I would never just think of her as a way to scratch an itch. I would be so f*cking obsessed. “Phoenix?” Chris called. “Yeah?” I asked. “You know we aren’t getting out, right?” he inquired. “You think I am plotting our escape right now?” “Well, you said you were thinking,” he countered. “Yeah well, not about a plan.” “No? Is it a certain person who has come to mind?” he suggested, his voice indicating that he saw right through me. “Something like that...” I murmured. *** Hope's heart is shattered into countless pieces. She can't shake the realization that Phoenix doesn't want her, and the weight of dragging everyone else down with her burdens her with guilt. She knows what she must do. She must leave so Phoenix can return home and reunite with his family. Unfortunately, things are far from straightforward. Phoenix's initial reaction upon seeing Hope is to flee. He's acutely aware of the darkness within him and fears tainting her with his malevolence. Yet, when he is kidnapped and locked away with Octavia and Chris, he discovers an undeniable pull towards Hope. He craves her presence, knowing he can never release her once he finds her again. Can Phoenix overcome his malevolent past and confront his demons, or will he unwittingly entangle Hope in his darkness? My Alpha's Pain

“Let’s go find him,” Mary suggested, clearly understanding what was going on. The three of them left without even checking if I was following. I watched them vanish into the crowd of party people, then I turned around and left. But as soon as I stepped outside into the cold night and pulled out my phone, I realized I was stuck. Aiden had driven us here, and if I called Dean, Dad, or Kyle to come pick me up, everyone would just worry about me… again. I groaned in frustration. What was I supposed to do? I wanted to go home but had no way to get there. Even if I called a cab, they would still see me going inside. I glanced at the people outside, drinking, smoking, and enjoying each other’s company, then looked back at the party raging inside. I had no choice but to go back in. It was freezing out here, and I doubted anyone at the party was sober enough to give me a ride home, nor could I call anyone who was. Reluctantly, I walked back inside, pushing through the crowd, and tried to find my cousin in the sea of people. Where was she? It was impossible to find Mary among so many werewolves, so I sprinted to the nearest staircase, hoping for a better vantage point. Unfortunately, it didn’t help much. Frustrated, I climbed the stairs, thinking she might be on the next floor. The second floor was quieter, but a few people still lingered in the hallway, making it easier to navigate. I checked rooms with open doors but found no sign of my cousin. At the end of the hallway, I turned and ascended another flight of stairs. This level was almost deserted, and the music was faint. Most doors here were closed, but a few were slightly ajar. I peeked into the open rooms until there was only one left—the one with the door slightly cracked. I hesitated before slowly pushing it open. “Mary?” I called out. There was no response, but I spotted something—or rather, someone—sitting on a balcony, their legs hanging over the side, drink in hand. The male turned, and his strikingly blue eyes met mine. Mate… The word was murmured so quietly that I barely caught it, but I did hear it. Not again, I thought, as he swung his leg over the side and took a sip from his glass, his eyes scanning me with obvious desire. No, no, no, not again... *** Bella longs for her mate, especially as her friends and family have all found theirs. At a winter ball, she believes she has finally met her destined partner and surrenders herself to him, only to be heartbroken when he rejects her. Devastated, Bella isolates herself from those who cannot understand her sudden change. When her cousin drags her to another party, Bella encounters a second chance at love. However, she is wary, fearing this new potential mate might be just like her first and tries to keep her distance. Keith, tormented by his older brother’s death, refuses to accept his role as the next alpha. Determined to avoid the responsibility, he deliberately sabotages his reputation in hopes that it might ruin his father's plans of choosing him. Yet, when Keith discovers Bella is his mate, his perspective shifts. He now has a new purpose: to win her heart and prove himself worthy. *Book Three* Recommended to first read: My Cursed Love and My Luna's Revenge

My Luna's Revenge

“I’m not going to hurt you,” I leaned in and whispered in her ear. Although her scent had a threatening edge, she went still as I drew near. “Let. Me. Go,” she snarled, but I did not comply. This female wasn’t accepting our mating bond, which wasn’t surprising given the day I’d had. It was merely another bump in the awful road, but I wasn’t going to let her kill me. I was lost and alone, yes, but I refused to let Skylar’s death go unpunished or my father’s betrayal be forgotten. He hadn’t believed his own son and had cast me out without warning. He would pay for that. “Only if you calm down and stop trying to kill me,” I growled. She hissed at me, still attempting to break free, but I was too strong. I glanced around at the other females. They were hesitant, clearly unsure of what to do. “Tell them to lower their guns,” I ordered her. “I’m going to tell them to shoot,” she growled back. “Then we both die. Is that what you want?” She didn’t answer but looked absolutely furious. She wanted me dead, yet she was helplessly pinned beneath me. “Fine! Lower your guns!” The females exchanged uncertain glances, still reluctant to move. “Now!” she commanded. That did the trick, and they all lowered their guns. “Tell them to take three steps back and turn around,” I ordered. If looks could kill, I’d be buried deep in the ground by now. But I couldn’t help but offer a small smile at her angry expression. She resembled a child denied candy. “Take three steps back and turn around,” she said through gritted teeth. The females complied with her command. “Now I’ll take this,” I said, holding her wrists with one hand as I grabbed the knife from her other hand. “Argh!” she screamed, her anger flaring. “You’re going to calm down, and then we’re both going to get up from here.” “You’re dead the second you let go of me.” “What made you think I’d let you go?” *** Accused of murdering a member of his pack, Dean is exiled by his father and forbidden to return. Devastated by his father's betrayal and the loss of Skylar, the woman he believed to be his soulmate, Dean vows to seek justice for both her death and his own wrongful exile. But he's not alone in his quest for revenge. Cara harbors a deep-seated hatred for all males and alphas, fueled by the abuse and betrayal she and other women have endured. Leading a group of women who share her desire for retribution, Cara is determined to dismantle the oppressive patriarchy. However, her plans are thrown into turmoil when she meets Dean, her fated mate. As their paths collide, both driven by a thirst for vengeance, Cara struggles to let go of her past for the possibility of a future with Dean. But can he break through her defenses to win her love and trust, or is her heart locked away forever? *Book Two* Recommended to first read: My Cursed Love

A Luna's Power

I turned around the stairs, as I reached the bottom and then I walked down the hallway, until I came to the living room where she was waiting on her own, but just as I stood in front of the closed doors I felt something strange or more like … scented something. Why could I smell … vanilla? I looked around the empty hallway, but there was no explanation for the faint smell of vanilla that was invading my nose and had my mouth watering and my heart beating a little faster from … excitement? I was unsure but suddenly I found it hard to stay still and quickly reached for the handle, opening the door and then … I had never before been hit by such a power scent. I almost took a step back as it overpowered me. Where did that heavenly smell come from? I looked to the other end of the room, where a red-haired female stood with her back to me and had opened the doors leading out to the garden. She was enjoying the view as the wind blew through her hair and sent her powerful and intoxicating scent towards me. What the hell? She must have noticed my presence, because suddenly she started to turn around and … f*cking hell, she was so beautiful! Her face an oval shape, with flaming red hair to frame it and this pale skin with a few freckles dancing over her nose. She had deep chocolate-colored eyes that just drew me in. She wore a black top and ripped jeans together with some boots and dark gloves on her hands. She looked almost dangerous. Mate! Oh no … No … No … No … that wasn’t true. I refused to believe it was true, but my wolf, who had moved to a very dark part of my mind where I couldn’t reach him since Jane died, suddenly came crashing to the surface, now desperate for the little female in front of us. I shook my head, grabbing the handle harder to keep me in place. I had never before been so overpowered by him. Mate! Mark her! Mark her now! He clearly wanted her with a desperate need, most likely afraid she would be taken from us if we didn’t … he didn’t get to claim her, but I would not claim her. I loved only one female! I loved only Jane and she would always be my only mate. I would never have another! “F*cking sh*t,” I heard her breathe. It seemed like she had come to realize who I was to her as well, and even if I wanted to move and get out of there right away I just couldn’t move. My legs refused to listen to me. Goddess, why are you so cruel? I wondered. I had already had the perfect mate and she was taken from me. Now she sent me a new one? Did she just get off on torturing me?! The little redhaired female and I were staring at each other, both completely frozen and unable to do anything, but then slowly she narrowed her eyes at me, and I saw her hands turn into tight fists. A threatening aura came from her, and it looked like she wanted to … kill me? “You have got to be kidding me,” she said. I looked at her confused. Why was she mad? She walked over to me with determined steps, and her vanilla scent only got stronger, almost making me growl in a possessive way and also to show I did not approve of her threatening energy that was clearly meant for me. “Reject me! Reject me now!” she ordered me. She wanted me to do what? *** Lara wants to prove herself to be powerful. She wants to show everyone that she does not need an alpha at her side, and that she as a luna can rule on her own. Therefore, she has sworn to never be mated and to never hand over her power. She wants to change everything she believes is wrong with the system and prove to everyone that a female can be powerful. James is still haunted from losing Jane. He tries his best to get better so he can help everyone and protect what the king has built, but it becomes harder and harder as time goes by, and it isn't until he meets Lara, he finally starts to feel again. Unfortunately, like Lara, he has sworn that he will never be mated again and the two stubborn wolves refuse to give into the other creating a dark and twisted relationship in order to cope with their feelings for one another. Can the two of them learn to let go of their stubbornness and finally let each other in? Can they get past all the hurt and the pain in order to learn to love again? Or will their vows to stay alone destroy them both? *Book Seven* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart, An Alpha's Choice and An Alpha's Dark Secret.

An Alpha's Dark Secret
Updated at Feb 23, 2023, 03:05
All I saw was her, sitting beside Chris, smiling her sweet smile. Even if I only glanced at her, I still saw her clearly and I smelled her sweet lavender smell from far away. It was so intoxicating, it had me almost losing my mind and I almost just walked over there to have her right there and then. It was completely insane and not something I would ever consider, but I could not help it. My wolf was as crazy for her as I. Mine … I tried to block him out, as I sat down in front of her. I acted as if I didn’t see her, trying to keep my distance from her, but I knew when she was watching me, and when she spoke … It was like listening to the sweetest and purest singing ever. Her voice was so sweet and light, for a moment I forgot where I was. Let’s take her. Now! I groaned silently, acting as if I wasn’t listening to him at all. Luckily, no one noticed me, as they were all focused on Kate’s sister … Madeleine. Her name was as sweet as her, and when I heard Selene say it, it was close to pushing me over the edge and do what my wolf wanted. I kept myself under control for now, even if I was grabbing the chair’s armrests so hard, the chair creaked. I could almost imagine taking her right here in front of everyone, just so they all knew, who she belonged to. James, who sat beside me, glanced shortly at me, as he heard the chair creak, but I just shot him a look that said, ignore it. He turned away, but just then, as I turned my attention back to Madeleine, I saw Chris place his hand on her shoulder. F*CK NO! My wolf and I were pretty much in agreement here. While Chris was happily mated to Kate, and it showed clearly, she was the only female he wanted, especially after the sh*t those two had gone through together, there was no way he just got to touch her so casually. She was f*cking mine. I was growling so loudly, before I had even noticed it, and it had the all the glasses, plates, forks and knives on the table shaking and moving around. Everyone turned their heads to look at me, but my eyes were only on Madeleine, and the hand on her shoulder, which should not be there! I was up on my feet so fast, my hands slammed down on the table, and I was shooting Chris a deadly glare, that told him quite loudly, that if he valued his hand at all he removed it, before I would do it for him. “Do not touch her!” *** Madeleine has taken her sister's place and is now going to be mated to the powerful alpha Hunter Dayton, which means she will be moving away from everything she knows just so her sister can be happy, and her father will no longer cause trouble for the king and the rest. After being invited to the castle by her sister, she finds the last person she wanted to find. Her very own mate ... This could ruin everything. Evan has a dark past no one knows about. It haunts him and makes him incapable of letting anyone close. He has no desire to find his mate and just wants people to stay far away from him, but when he meets the beautiful Madeleine he soon realizes it isn't so easy to stay away, and soon he finds himself so attached he cannot let go, even if his past prevents him from letting her in. *Book Six* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love, A Second Chance Mate, A Luna's Broken Heart and An Alpha's Choice.

The Elf King - Rathilion
Updated at Feb 23, 2023, 03:05
“Or perhaps your frustration stems from elsewhere? Maybe there’s a woman who holds your heart already?” she probed. I met her gaze, noting the slight smile on her lips and the sparkle of knowing in her eyes. She always saw through me. “I often see Sarya in the hallways,” she remarked. “Sneaking in and out of your room.” I averted my eyes. Sarya doesn't hold my heart, I mused as I drained the last of my wine. “Or perhaps it’s a formidable queen you still think about?” she suggested, already aware of the answer. “She’s already taken,” I admitted. “Then look ahead,” she urged. “Not back.” “I know I need to look forward. I understand what I must do, which is why I’m doing this.” “You make it sound like you’re going to battle,” she remarked. “In a sense, I am. I never fancied these sorts of parties. I know how to fight, but this… this is not my forte, and marriage, I fear I might be even worse at. Nonetheless, the throne requires a successor, and perhaps… perhaps it might just bridge the rift between my father and me.” “So, you sacrifice your own happiness for him?” “What do you want me to do, Mother?” I responded. “I can’t have the woman I want.” “And Sarya isn’t a woman you could want?” she probed. “It isn’t like that between us, and besides, that wouldn’t really please Father.” “No, but she does make you happy.” “Yes,” I acknowledged. “All I want, my son,” she said, drawing closer to me and placing her hands on my cheeks. She was only slightly shorter than me, a tall and striking woman with white hair like mine and pale skin, adorned in a flowing white dress. She exuded a regal air, akin to that of a goddess, a sentiment echoed by many. “Is your happiness.” *** Rathilion, now The King of The Elves, rose to power by standing up for his beliefs and turning his people against his father. This decision has created a rift between him and the former king. In an attempt to mend their relationship and secure a future heir for the elves, Rathilion decides to marry, hoping it might bring some good and help him forget about the lovely Laelia, who is already promised to another. Valindra has never wanted to marry. If given the choice, she would lock herself in a library for the rest of her life. Her undeniable beauty has always attracted unwanted attention, which she despises. She craves solitude, but her father insists she should become the next queen. Despite having sisters, he believes her beauty will capture the king's interest. However, an attack leaves Valindra scarred and undesired. Though she is dragged to a party held by the king out of obligation, her father no longer sees her as a viable candidate. Ironically, her scars only draw the king's attention more. And every harsh word and cold look she directs at him only deepens his intrigue. *Book Six* Recommended to first read: A Dragon's Call, A Dragon's Love, A Dragon's Fight, The True Northern King - James and The Mystery Man - Mefan This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

The Mystery Man - Mefan
Updated at Feb 23, 2023, 03:05
I slowly stood up straight, and his eyes ran over me, from my eyes and down my body, over my bare chest, and for some reason, it felt like something was going on between us, like a force pulling us toward one another... a pull. It was almost electric, and I had no idea how to explain it. I had never before felt anything like it, and then his usual cruel smile spread across his lips. The left side of his mouth curled upward. He crossed his broad arms over his chest, and then he slowly turned around, walking inside again, leaving me confused about what had happened. This was not normal! It had to do with the fact that he had brought me back. How else did I explain my racing heart, the goosebumps on my skin, or the fact that my throat felt so dry that I downed the rest of the wine? How else? I ran one of my hands over my face before rubbing my eyes with two fingers, just trying to shake this feeling... this... this need almost. I found myself almost wanting to go over there, but to do what? What was happening to me? *** Carter has been brought back to life by Mefan after nearly dying in the war against his uncle. Upon his revival, Carter quickly learns the consequences of this second chance at life, feeling almost numb. However, he becomes increasingly intrigued by the mystery man who seems unable to let him go, an attraction that confounds him. Matters are further complicated by his bond to Mefan, which prevents him from straying too far without beginning to die again. Mefan lost his true love many years ago and has watched her reincarnate repeatedly, each time finding her new self lacking. So why does a certain prince suddenly captivate him? He wants to resist the urge to touch or be touched by Carter, but when Carter reveals his connection to Mefan, ignoring these growing feelings becomes nearly impossible. *Book Five* Recommended to read: A Dragon's Call, A Dragon's Love, A Dragon's Fight and The True Northern King - James This book can now be bought as a paperback on am@zon

“Is there anyone I should call for you? Or do you want to call them?” Her sweet green eyes held nothing but honesty, as she shook her head. “There is only me now.” “Now?” She lifted her hand and started to bite her nails. It looked like she was getting nervous or anxious, and I feared I might have triggered something in her, but then she started to smile, and the smile soon turned to a soft laughter. Was she really laughing, I wondered, as I looked at her shocked. She continued to do so, until she noticed my strange look on my face, then she stopped herself and removed her hand. “Sorry, I must look like a crazy person, suddenly just laughing out of the blue. I’m just so … happy!” “I can see that,” I said, still a bit confused by her behavior. “When you asked me if I had someone you could call, and I said no, it … it just made me realize there really wasn’t anyone for you to call and it made me happy.” “It made you happy not to have anyone to call?” “I know how that must sound like, but yes. It did!” Was she actually crazy, I thought, just for a second, before reminding myself, I didn’t know her whole story. Maybe she had had an abusive boyfriend or mate, or something and the person had died. Maybe she was just happy to be free of them. “Well, I will let you get some more rest then. Your doctor said it was important you got a lot of rest and food, so you could recover,” I said and got up from the bed. “You don’t want to ask me my story?” she asked, confused. “I told you. You don’t have to tell me anything you’re not comfortable telling me. It’s your story. You tell it to me or you don’t or you tell it to someone else. You decide.” She smiled sweetly at me, but when I turned to leave, she grabbed my hand. With my help, she slowly got up from the bed. “What are you doing? You should stay on the bed,” I said, worried, but only tightened my grip on her hand, when I saw she was trying to get up. She let out a deep exhausted breath, as she finally stood on her feet again. Then her green eyes stared at mine. They were deep and serious, and I wondered what she was going to tell me, but she didn’t say a word. Instead, she lifted her hand and lightly brushed the side of my blazer away, so my covered shoulder came into view. The white shirt was a little see-through, and when it covered me you could just barely glimpse the mark that was now nothing but a painful reminder of a past I was trying to forget. I stared back at Cecilia almost terrified, before I let go of her and took a step back. I quickly covered myself and asked: “What do you think you’re doing?” “It hurts. Doesn’t it?” I just stared at her confused. “When they mark you and then they throw you away for someone else.” The happy woman I had just met a few minutes ago had disappeared, and a dark version now stood in front of me. Her eyes were still on my shoulder, even though it was covered now, but then she turned her eyes to me. The green now looked like glass, as if there was nothing behind them. “I think you’ll want to hear my story.” *** Selene tries to return to normal after months of being isolated from the upper-class world, she was once famous in, but being thrown away by the king for a traitor's daughter has made her the joke of the society. A new resident comes to her home for abused and left behind mates, but she is so much different from the rest of the residents … She is happy. Intrigued by the new resident and her story, Selene learns how she can cut her last tie to Valerio and maybe finally be able to claim back her life, but she does not know at what cost. Rider was presumed dead by everyone, even his own brother Valerio. He stayed hidden, too damaged by his family’s, and most of all his twin brother Ryker’s death. He decided to put down his weapons and choose another way, to save life instead of taking them. Riders finds James, a very important person to his brother Valerio, who had been missing for months, and decides to help get James home, but James is not easy to convince, and it forces Rider out of hiding. *Book Four* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King, A Beta's Undying Love and A Second Chance Mate

A Second Chance Mate
Updated at Feb 21, 2023, 07:26
Mate. No, no, no. That was a hard no! I refused to listen to my wolf, who practically shouted the word in my head. There was only one female for me, and that was Amelia. No one else! I refused it! I refused her! My wolf growled threateningly at me, as I spoke the words inside of myself. He clearly didn’t agree, and all I could think was traitor! Our Amelia was the only one for us, so why was he suddenly so interested in this little female in front of us? This half-blood, who had turned up out of the blue. I couldn’t let this happen. Amelia was the one, and she was waiting for me on the other side and here I stood and almost drooled over someone else. No, I refused her. Right now. I was going to say the words. “What’s your name?” Chris asked the little one, as he turned to her. This took her beautiful brown eyes off me. Thank the Goddess, but then I noticed her hand in Chris’s, and I was just about ready to jump between them and beat the sh*t out of Chris just for touching her, but then I reminded myself, she wasn’t mine, and stating such an obvious claim would be admitting I had accepted her. “Isabella,” she said in a small delicate voice. F*ck, that voice. It almost sent me to my knees. Her voice reached me in places nothing else could, and it warmed me. Sh*t this was dangerous because I wanted to hear her keep talking. I didn’t care about what, I just needed to hear that sweet voice. Maybe I could make her talk about the weather? Or maybe even better make her moan my name, as I buried myself deep between her thighs, marking her as mine … Oh no, this was bad. Very very bad! This could not happen! I shook my head trying to get myself under control. My wolf was clawing to be let loose and take this female as ours, making sure this time we didn’t fail in marking her completely and keeping her away from anyone who tried to hurt her. Mine. It was a no! No mine. No ours! I wasn’t having any of it, but unfortunately the Goddess seemed to like torturing me, because suddenly Chris asked: “Where do you live? We’ll gladly take you home.” The female suddenly got a sad expression in her eyes, and she let go of Chris’s hand. That part I was glad about, but her sudden insecure energy and the way she looked like she was ready to run, made me shift my weight back and forth. As if I was once again ready to run over there and state my claim, so I could be the one comforting her and making sure she was safe. *** Isabella is a half-blood who is seeking revenge for her dead brother. Thanks to the wolves rising up against Valerio the king of wolves, who they believe is weak for falling in love with a traitor, Isabella gets her chance for revenge, but it is not the king she is after. It is Damian, third in command to the king. Damian is haunted by his memories of his dead mate Amelia, and all he wants is to join her on the other side, but fate has other plans for him. Isabella is the one person, that seems to be able to reach his cold heart and forget his loyalty to his one and only. Will Damian hold on to his wish to be with his first mate? Or will his need for Isabella become too strong? And what will happen when Isabella realizes that it is her mate who killed the one person, who had ever cared about her? *Book Three* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King and A Beta's Undying Love

“Lily. Look at me,” his dark voice said, and I couldn’t help but feel compelled to do as he said. My eyes slowly rose from the ground, and met his deep ocean blue ones. I was drowning in them the second that I looked into them, and knew I had made a stupid mistake, doing what he had told me to. “Please. I need to get back to work,” I heard myself whisper, yet I did not move from my spot. I was captured by his strong and powerful gaze, not that I wanted to move, even if I could. Everything about him was so intoxicating. His looks, his piercing eyes and his strong musky scent. It made my heart skip a beat, whenever I took a breath in. It was hard not to wonder what it was going to feel like being touched by him, and not just something as innocent as his hand on my cheek. No, my thoughts were much darker and with a lot less clothes on for both parts. You need to stop yourself! No, don’t stop! Kiss him. He is so close! Stop yourself! No. Don’t! Yes, stop! My heart and head were fighting each other in an intense battle about what to do. My head told me to leave, but my heart wanted something completely different. I knew the right thing, was to listen to my head. So I quieted my heart and told myself it was time to get up, but before I could even get the change to move, two strong big hands placed themselves on my neck, and pulled me onto warm lips, that hungrily yet softly tasted me. *** Valerio's beta Garrett is searching desperately for his mate. He has always been fond of females and has habit of believing they are his mates, but as the king's best friend, he is quick to discover none of them are and are only interested in the king. He fears he might never find her, but at a visit to his sick mother, who he is keeping a secret, he discovers his mate. Lily. Lily is a tough person who loves to take care of people, but when she learns that she is once again battling cancer, she loses hope, that she will ever have a future. What will happen when the two lost souls meet? And not just Lily's sickness is working against them, but the fact they are from two completely different worlds? *Book Two* Recommended to first read: A Bite From An Alpha King

The True Northern King - James
Updated at Feb 20, 2023, 04:10
“Happy birthday your highness,” a beautiful older woman said. She bowed elegantly and then moved a little out of the way to make room for a younger version of her. She couldn’t be older than eleven maybe. “Serina, bow to the prince. It is his birthday,” she said. The young girl was dressed in this awful pink dress that made her look like a big pillow or something. I almost wanted to laugh at the sight, yet despite the ugliness of her dress, she was still very pretty. She had long blond hair and very blue eyes. I had no idea why it was so hard for me to look away and why I almost felt a need to tease her and the ugly dress she was wearing. “Happy birthday, prince,” she said in this small and very light voice. I wanted to roll my eyes at it. Who even had such a light voice? She curtsied as she wished me a happy birthday and then slowly looked up. I just smiled a bit cruelly and then looked away, making it look like I was awfully bored by her. She didn’t like that, and I could even hear her huff. For some reason, I liked her reaction. It was fun to see, and I wanted to make her even angrier. Her cheeks got this funny red color. “Say thank you, boy.” My father slammed his hard against my back, so I had to move a step closer, and stood right in front of the little girl. I looked annoyed up at my father. He was standing by my side, making conversation with the older lords and ladies, while he made sure I was polite and greeted our guests and thanked them for the many presents. My father just raised an eyebrow at me, not understanding why I was hesitating, but as I turned, I saw the girl’s smug look, and I did not like it. I wanted to annoy her so I could see her face go all red again, but instead I had to thank her. “Thank you …” I mumbled. “Louder James,” my father said. I glared at him from over my shoulder, and then saw the smile only spread on the little girl’s lips. Serina was her name. What a ridiculous name. It sounded like you were trying to make an animal sound, but it just came out wrong. “Thank you,” I said louder. She crossed her arms and looked like she had won some kind of battle between us, but I promised myself this wasn’t over. I mean, who even stood like that? Was she not a lady? She looked like a young boy when she crossed her arms like that. “Come, Serina, let the prince greet the next ones,” her mother said. She gently took her daughter’s hand and started to walk away. I watched them, and then suddenly Serina turned her head and poked her tongue out. It made me angrier than I could describe. I was not used to such a feeling and that only angered me more. “James!” My father brought my attention back to the guests who continued to arrive, and I quickly masked my anger, but I promised myself I would find that ugly little girl later and show her who exactly was the future king, and you did not disrespect the next king like that. It took a while though before I could get away from all the guests and their happy birthday wishes, and all that, yet through it all, all I could think about was that annoying little girl. I looked around for her, as I moved through the big crowd. Where was she? Then suddenly I saw her. She was dancing around on the dancefloor with … Henry?! *** James the protective older brother, the peacemaker and the future king. He was believed to lead the North into a great future, but as it is already known, the North never became his. He was used by his uncle and eventually died, but every great king always has a story behind them. This one is ... his. *Book Four* Recommended to read: A Dragon's Call, A Dragon's Love and A Dragon's fight

The Dragon's Fight
Updated at Feb 20, 2023, 04:09
“We are just trying to make sure you actually will be able to be crowned queen,” Liam said. “Going to war … many die.” I could see the pain in my brother’s eyes. He had before been sent out like the rest, fighting against other humans trying to take more control over the lands. My father could not have such traitors running around causing trouble for him, so my brothers had been sent out together with a big army and had taken care of these things. I had seen only half of that army return. Sadly. “I can protect myself. “You have never fought in one!” Liam said. “Now I will …” “Laelia …” “Am I the white dragon, or are you?” I asked him. He sighed, closing his eyes for a little while before answering, “You are.” “And am I the one who will sit on the throne ruling the North and the South?” “Yes …” “Then why should I not fight in this war? I can’t speak to these people asking them to give up their lives, if I am not even willing to risk mine!” I said. “But they aren’t the future queen!” “No, but a queen is nothing without her people! I cannot ask them to risk so much if I am not willing to fight along side them. They are my people and I will protect them with everything in me.” *** Laelia now knows the truth about everything. Her uncle's betrayal ... She needs together with Ashes and her brothers to find help around Acardia and assemble an army ready to fight her uncle, who now rules the North and the South, but things are never easy, and making people go to war, is harder than she believed it would be. Ashes brothers are dead, but sadly the crown is still not his. Him and Laelia stand stronger than ever, but the two of them are again pulled in different directions. Will the two of them finally be able to sit on the throne together? Or will this war take everything from them? *Book Three* Recommended to first read: The Dragon's Call and The Dragon's Love

The Dragon's Love

“You don’t know her as I do,” I said. “She is as fierce as the northern wind. She will not bow. Neither will her people.” The third person I still could not see, that was hiding behind my brothers, shifted uneasily as we spoke of Laelia. Who was he? I wondered. “She is but one woman. She will not stand in our way.” “We will see.” “Are you scared of some woman?” Sirrush asked mockingly. “Me? No, but you should be.” “Really?” I nodded. “Laelia is different. She is someone people look up to. She is a force, a belief, maybe even a goddess, in some people’s eyes. She makes people love her without really trying. She makes them hope. Even if you kill me, they will look at her. They will always follow her.” It was clear even to me, the admiration in my voice. I truly did admire her. I had for the first time she looked at me. She was different. Strong and fierce, but also gentle and kind. She was not touched by darkness like we were but was shining with light and beauty. She was someone people believed in, and that was why my father wanted me to marry her. Now I was more than happy that I had. She made me believe too. She made me see I could be better, that I did not have to walk on a lone path. She would walk it with me. “You are a fool in love,” Sirrush said. “And you will die as one.” *** Laelia is tired of just sitting around waiting for Ashes and her brothers to come back. It makes her lose hope for them all, and when Samuel finally comes back half dead, she decides to go find the rest and save them from Blaze and Sirrush. Ashes has been trapped by his brothers, only the thought of Laelia giving him warmth, but he knows the end has come. When he finally is freed and Laelia asks him to let go of the throne, he cannot. He needs to claim back what he has lost, even if it means risking losing her. *Book Two* Recommended to first read: The Dragon's Call

The Prince And The Pagan
Updated at Feb 20, 2023, 04:09
“You wouldn’t think such a small woman was so strong,” Cole said, as he looked over at Helena. “I couldn’t even resist.” I laughed at that, as I looked up at him, and he turned his head, smiling down at me before leaning a little closer. “Want to show me the steps?” he asked. I probably shouldn’t. This dance wasn’t for kids, but the alcohol had made me make bad decisions, and I just felt like I wanted to do something I didn’t usually do. So, I smiled cheekily at him before turning around and moving my back to his front. I pushed my long red hair over my shoulder before I moved my hips at a slow pace before turning around, my feet easily gliding over the dry leaves and branches, placing my hands on his chest, running them down his body, feeling all those hard muscles underneath. He smiled a crooked smile at me, as I kept one of my hands on him and slowly walked around him, dragging my hand carefully over him. He kept watching me, with those hungry eyes. That was the only way I could describe them. Then as I came around him, I grabbed his arms and wrapped them around me, while snaking an arm around him and showing him to sway his body together with mine, feeling the music move through our bodies. The alcohol made it so easy for me not to think about all those confusing feelings he brought out in me, and just enjoy the moment, but then over his shoulder I saw someone watching us … F*cking hell. *** With his father, the king, dead, Cole ascends to the throne fueled by a burning desire for revenge against the pagans he believes killed his father. His quest for vengeance nearly costs him his life, but when he finds himself living among the very people he sought to destroy, he discovers they are not the monsters he imagined. As he begins to understand their way of life, he realizes why his father never wanted them eradicated. Raven, a pagan whose family was slaughtered when she was a child, was taken in and raised by a new clan. When Cole, the prince and grandson of the man responsible for her family’s death, ends up living with them after a disastrous encounter with the followers of The God of Death, Raven sees an opportunity for vengeance. Yet, as she gets to know Cole, she finds he is not at all like his grandfather. Caught between her thirst for revenge and the truth of Cole’s character, Raven must figure out what truly matters. But can she let the past go? *Book Two* Recommended to first read: My Broken Knight

My Broken Knight

“It has nothing to do with me,” I said simply. She groaned, frustrated and stepped closer. “So, you do not care I have to spend the rest of my life with an old man?” she asked. “No,” I told her coldly. “How can you say that? Do you not have a heart?” No, I didn’t. It had been ripped out by a dark-haired beauty that had claimed it, only to rip it from my chest and stomp on it. So, no, I didn’t have a heart. I was certain only a hole remained there now. "Do you not believe in love?" she asked. I looked at the princess before me. A true beauty, yet what hid beneath the surface could be as ugly as the face of a toad. "Do you?" I asked. She smiled a beautiful smile. The sun's rays were getting caught in her golden hair and the wind slightly biting her cheeks. "Of course," she said. "Even if I don't get to experience it. It is real. I have seen it. Haven't you?" I thought over her question for a little while, before looking over her shoulder towards the little lake in front of us. "Believing in love is like believing in magic ... It isn't real. It is just another fairytale for kids." *** William, a steadfast believer in true love, endures seven brutal years of war in the icy northern kingdom of Seeka. His sole comfort is the thought of his beloved Vanessa, who he has promised to marry upon his return. However, at his homecoming, scarred by the loss of a friend and the horrors of battle, he finds Vanessa already married, having chosen a lord over him. Devastated, William vows never to love again. Meanwhile, Princess Grace, the only daughter of King Richard of Etheria, faces a loveless marriage arranged to fill the pockets of her country, who has lost much because of the war in Seeka. Her father’s choice is an old king who promises to restore prosperity, but leaves Grace with only loneliness. As she tries to fight her fate, her heart unexpectedly begins to beat for her new protector, Sir William. But can William, hardened by heartbreak, find solace in this unexpected affection? And can Grace's belief in love free her from her cruel destiny? *Book One*

Our Loveless Marriage

“Why is it so hard for you to even try?! You are making me play this cruel game!” she snarled lowly. “I hate lying!” “Well, you just have to suck it up,” I told her. She let her arms fall, only to clench her hands into tight fists like she was ready to punch me. For a second, I believed she might. “Why am I the only one having to suck it up?!” she asked. “Why can’t you give something in return?! Like going to the Bahamas and not abandoning me like some sad little wife, whose own husband can’t even stand to be with her for one second longer than he has to?!” I walked closer to her, ready to tell her that there was a big difference between us spending time together because we had to and because we chose to. But then I heard voices coming closer, and instead, I wrapped my arms around Megan, pulling her against me, before turning us and pressing her up against the counter. “What are you-“ But she didn’t get to finish that sentence before I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers. We hadn’t kissed before. She hadn’t let me at the wedding and instead turned her head at the last second, so I kissed her cheek. Now she had no chance to prepare, and I claimed her lips in a hard and hungry kiss, that made her completely melt into me, and it gave me a chance to deepen it, letting my tongue slide into her mouth and tangle with hers. Damn, she had a sweetness to her. It was twirled together with the chocolate cake she had eaten and the small glass of red wine. She let out this soft moan too, just before the doors opened, and in came a drunk and laughing Mrs. Johnson. *** Megan, the second daughter of the prestigious Johnson family and heiress to a vast fortune, is thrust into an arranged marriage with Nathan, the son of a family friend. Nathan, driven by ambition and indifferent to Megan, manipulates her to regain his family's favor. Despite her reservations, Megan reluctantly goes along with Nathan's plans, hoping to alleviate the strain of their forced union. As they navigate the facade of their relationship, Megan struggles to fake affection, holding onto the hope that their pretense might eventually lead to genuine love. However, as emotions become entangled and Nathan's possessiveness emerges, Megan begins to question whether his indifference might be preferable to his unpredictable displays of affection. With the fear of inevitable heartbreak looming, Megan wrestles with the concept of love and its potential to wreak havoc. Amidst the complexities of their marriage, Megan and Nathan face the daunting task of forging a real connection amidst the shadows of obligation and manipulation. Can they overcome the weight of expectation and deceit to find true love, or will their relationship unravel before Nathan's anticipated ascension to power as his family's successor? “What did you do?!” I yelled as I walked closer, hoping to take them from him, before he did more damage. He threw them away, before I could reach the papers, and then grabbed my shoulders. “I love you,” he said. “It isn’t enough,” I whispered. My heart was beating like crazy. His words were bringing it to life again, and it almost wanted to jump out of my chest so it could be with him. Even though my mind didn’t agree, my heart was his. There was no doubt. “It is! It is enough because you love me too.” “I …” “I know you do,” he said. I pressed my eyes together, trying my hardest not to cry, and when I opened them again, he didn’t hesitate, as he kissed me hard. I couldn’t stop the tears as he kissed me. It was too good. It was like coming home. Like this was exactly where I should be. “You can’t,” I said and turned my head, but he didn’t listen. He pushed me down on the couch and then removed his jacket before getting on top of me. He kissed me again, and I responded. I couldn’t help myself. I really f*cking couldn’t. My body was heating up, readying itself, because even my body knew who it belonged to, and for a moment I didn’t want to fight it. I just wanted to listen. *** Betrayal weighs heavily on Megan's heart as she grapples with Nathan's initial intentions behind their marriage. She can't shake the feeling that she's merely a pawn in his game. Little does she know, Nathan has sacrificed everything for her. Seeking solace, Megan seeks refuge with her sister, who urges her toward the path of freedom through divorce. Our Stupid Feelings
Updated at Feb 19, 2023, 13:29
“I haven’t had sex in over six months, assh*le. All because you! So, yes, I am slightly pissed.” I didn’t really plan to admit this. I mean, I had no plans of marrying Jax, but my words could easily be interpreted in ways that they shouldn’t be, and I could see they surprised him. “Thought you had switched me out for someone else,” he said, as he started to smile that evil smile again. I was so angry right now. He was purposely pushing me, and he knew what it was doing to me. Like him, I didn’t like to be cornered. I didn’t like that someone was forcing me to admit some things I wasn’t ready to really talk about. I was a private person. He was too. Maybe why we worked so well together, sadly, it also made it impossible for us to really let the other in. We didn’t like it when things came too close, but Jax had clearly spent those six months working on that, because now he seemed all in. “I haven’t seen Luke since I went out with Megan, shortly after she came back to Chicago,” I told him. He seemed even more surprised. “And I haven’t slept with anyone else. So, I am not going to apologize if I feel slightly hurt that you are now rejecting me, when it is clear that you did this to me! You f*cked with my head!” “What happened?” he just asked. “What?” “That night? Why did that night change anything for you?” he asked me, making me swallow hard. I didn’t remember that much about that night, but I did remember what I confessed to Megan. There was no way I was telling him, though. He was playing with me, and I didn’t like that, so there was no way I was giving him anything. “That doesn’t matter,” I said. “You are the one being a jerk tonight.” “For taking you out?” “You know what you are doing!” “Oh?” he just asked. I wanted to pull my hair because he was pushing me a lot tonight. Normally, he wouldn’t go so hard on me. I loved our banter. I loved our teasing and challenging the other, but things were different tonight. He was purposely trying to push me to my limits, and I didn’t like it. *** Kat is a firm believer in the solo life, convinced that relationships only complicate matters. She's content with her independence and sees no reason to change, until Jax makes her a promise that challenges everything she thought she knew. Despite her best efforts to keep her guard up, Jax's mere presence quickens her heartbeat, leaving her questioning her resolve. Meanwhile, Jax is certain that Kat is the one for him. He's determined to make her his wife, but he knows it won't be easy. With Kat's tendency to run, he's prepared to work hard to win her over and seal the deal with a ring. As their romantic game unfolds, can they navigate the complexities of marriage? Will Kat give in to Jax's advances and accept his proposal, or will her fear of commitment drive her to flee once again? The Princess's Stolen Body
Updated at Feb 19, 2023, 13:28
I froze. My eyes caught the image in front of me, and that was when I remembered what I had seen in my dreams. She had been looking through the mirror in my dream too. I let out a small scream, turning around myself, but no one was there. I turned around again, seeing her look through the mirror. Scared, I took a step back, thinking she would grab me again, but she just stared back at me, not doing anything. I looked behind myself again, and that was when I saw it … This wasn’t my room! This was a very small room with brown wooden walls, and a small door, where you had to duck to get out. I ran over to the mirror again, reaching out for the glass, touching it and … “No, no, no, no,” I whispered, shaking my head. It was not possible! Something like this was not possible! It couldn’t be … but then how else did I explain what I was seeing? How else did I explain she was looking right back at me with the same scared and shocked expression as me?! “Oh no. It can’t be,” I whispered. “I just … can’t.” “Elisa!” I heard someone calling. Elisa?! Was that her name? I looked around, not knowing what to do. What did I say? What did I do?! *** Liana, gifted with the power to see the future, is deceived by a pagan woman when seeking help for her nightmares. The woman tricks Liana into a body swap, leaving her to try to convince her family she is truly the princess, all while trying to find a way back to her own body. Yet they refused to see the truth. Her only hope suddenly lies in Jonah, a thief with a heart of gold who steals from the wealthy to aid the poor. Jonah, who once tried to rob Liana, is taken aback by her unexpected kindness and her decision to release him instead of punishing him. When Liana seeks Jonah's help to regain her true identity, he finds it impossible to refuse her. The Vampire's Sweet Secret
Updated at Dec 29, 2022, 06:59
Oh, sh*t! At first, I wasn’t sure what it was, but as I inhaled, my heart started to pound faster. When I did it again, it felt like I was drugged with the strongest and sweetest scent I had ever smelled. It was a mixture of rain and forest, something that reminded me of the old days when I used to be a knight and a fighter. It reminded me of the days I had traveled and all those nights under the open sky, surrounded by the vast forests that no longer existed. I couldn’t explain it, but I had never been affected like this by a scent alone. Her sweet fragrance almost overpowered her usual werewolf scent. I turned in my chair, slowly bringing the person into view. I had said she was pretty, but now that she stood in front of me and I got a real look at her and smelled her, I suddenly saw the most beautiful woman I had ever laid my eyes on. Her beauty wasn’t the kind where you would look at her and think she was made to perfection. No, she was hidden well, wearing a black dress that I could see she was uncomfortable in and a blazer too big for her. She had her hair up in a messy ponytail and no makeup on. It looked like she had truly tried to make herself look composed and important, but she seemed like a fish out of water. No wonder she was so unqualified. She definitely didn’t fit in here, and yet I didn’t tell her to go. No, I couldn’t. I felt almost enchanted by her. She couldn’t really look at me, so nervous and insecure she was. I had no idea what she expected to happen by coming here, but I would listen to her anyway, just so I could keep looking at her some more. “Well, Calliope, you have 10 minutes. Use them well,” I said, leaning back in my chair as I gestured for her to take a seat in front of me, and she quickly did. *** Everly, finally liberated from her family's grasp, revels in her newfound role as CEO. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she hires Ava as her assistant, unaware that Ava is fleeing from an abusive mate. Pregnant and desperate for safety, Ava hides her identity in New York, where she secures a job at a tech company, finding solace in her newfound anonymity. Yet fate intervenes when she discovers her true mate: Everly. As their connection deepens, they must confront Ava's past and the looming threat of her former mate. Can their love withstand the secrets that threaten to tear them apart, or will Ava's past destroy their chance of happiness? The Dragon's Call

He wore a golden armor, with a dragon on his chest. He had a sword by his side, his hand resting lightly on the handle. Was he the one who was going to kill me? “Who are you?” I asked, my voice a bit stronger. “My apologize princess for interrupting your wedding night.” The people around him, who were casually roaming through my father’s things, all chuckled at his "apology". “Your husband is…” He turned to look at the man beside me. “Dead.” “Oh, so perhaps I shouldn’t congratulate you but give you my condolences.” “As if you didn’t know he was dead. You probably ordered it!” I sneered. The man looked surprised for a second, as if he hadn’t expected me to talk back to him, but I was not some simple little girl. I was a princess! A princess of the North. “Who are you?” I repeated as the man took another step closer to me. “I’m Ashes, son of Acheron. King of the dragons.” *** Laelia, the princess of the North, the human kingdom. Her father has arranged for her to be married to protect the humans from the upcoming attack, planned by the dragons. Laelia refuses to be married away to a stranger, but with no place to run and her father as the king, she has no choice but the marry the arrogant Lord Keplin, who only sees her as his chance to become a prince. Ashes, the third son of the dragon king, has been ordered together with his brothers, to travel to the North and kill King James, ending the humans’ rule over the North forever and thereby securing the safety of the dragons in the South. Unfortunately, he had not expected the princess to be so feisty and refuse to bow to anyone, even him. What will happen, when Ashes bring Laelia back to the South with him? A bite from an Alpha King
Updated at Dec 11, 2022, 02:51
I could hear leather giving in as a powerful body was expanding, leaving little room in the jacket. The king’s body was suddenly so close to me as he leaned in and took a deep breath. I could hear him growling satisfied, as he smelled me. When he pulled away, his eyes had a dark glow to it and I could feel my body shake for some unknown reason. What was happening to me? “Now little one, can you tell me why my own mate is trying to have me killed?” he asked in a husky and deep voice. He licked his lips as he looked at me. Suddenly, I was very self-conscious as he was eyeing me. Something about the way he looked at me gave me goosebumps, but I wasn’t sure if it was a good or bad feeling. I took a quick glance down at me, suddenly doubting if I was actually wearing clothes. I was dressed in complete black clothes with short shorts that sat tightly around my strong body, combat boots and a tight sleeveless crop top that only covered my breasts, oh and no bra. My hair was braided in a long braid that went all the way down to my ass. I looked back at the king after reassuring myself I was actually wearing clothes, but he still had a hungry look in his eyes and I couldn’t understand why. “Are you not going to answer me?” he asked, almost threatening, as he tightened the grip around my throat. I gasped as I felt no air was able to pass through. Goddess he was strong. I had fought other rogues, strong male rogues and other boys at my old pack. I was always the winner, but now with the male in front of me, I was suddenly left so powerless. I couldn’t even loosen his grip. It was as if I was nothing but a weak female in front of a hungry wolf. “L-…” I tried speaking but nothing would come out. The grip was too tight and I was getting weaker by the minute. The king looked curiously at me as he slowly leaned forward again to try and hear what I was saying, but his confused eyes were soon replaced with shock and realization because, as he leaned towards me, I saw an opening. I pulled the silver knife from my back pocket and plunged it with all the force I had left in me right into his chest. He gasped as he looked down at the knife in shock. His eyes then turned to me, looking almost horrified at me as I smiled my evil smile. “Long live my father,” I whispered, almost without a sound. *** Octavia is seeking revenge for her father the late king. She has been trained since birth to be a deadly killer by her father, but he was brutally murdered by the new king. When Octavia on her nineteenth birthday, finally sees an opening to get back at the king for killing her father she sets out to kill him, but his yellow eyes couldn't be mistaken, and she learns something she would rather have lived without. Valerio has finally gotten the throne and now has to keep the promise to an old friend who helped him get it. He has to be mated to his daughter. The Hybrid King's Hidden Mate
Updated at Dec 9, 2022, 10:59
I saw nothing but a pair of boots in front of me at first. I slowly let my eyes travel higher. His legs were three times the size of mine. His upper body was big and broad, and his dark red eyes were staring right at me. Fuck, he is huge, I thought. I knew hybrid males were much bigger than hybrid females, but I had thought the books I read when I was younger were exaggerating. I hadn’t had much to do trapped in that little house my mother had kept me in. So, I had studied a lot about the world I was not allowed to venture into, but the books had not prepared me at all to sit in front of The Hybrid King. He was dressed nicely, but in all black, as if he was mourning. Fuck... my wolf whispered. I wanted to ask ‘what’, but my voice seemed to have gotten lost somewhere. I couldn’t speak. We can’t kill him... she stated. Again, I wanted to ask ‘what’, but I didn’t even get to think the word before my wolf whimpered loudly inside my head, as if in pain. I could see her writhing around like she was fighting something, until suddenly she was lying down, her tail tucked in, and she had a submissive look in her eyes. My wolf was nothing but submissive. She was sassy and quite fierce. This was unlike her, but then she offered me an explanation: Mate. Of fucking course, I growled internally. Of course, the last hybrid male left in the world was my mate! I had really hoped that even the Goddess, whom I had seen my mother pray to every night, would have wanted me, my freedom too. But instead, she had given me to the very person I had despised my entire life because I knew if he knew I existed, he would want one thing from me, and one thing only. Being mates would make it twice as hard to fight him, but I would fight him. My freedom was what mattered. Nothing more. *** In a world where hybrids are nearly extinct, Ronan, the grieving king, swore off love after losing his mate and child centuries ago. Meanwhile, Amber, forced into hiding to escape a predetermined fate, longs for freedom but finds herself ensnared by those who seek to use her for their own ends.
