And what he said next caught Seraphim by surprise. “Have we met before?” Jinri asked. Seraphim turned his body towards his mate and smiled, “today… We met today…” “I’ve seen you before, haven’t I?” Jinri asked with a smile. Seraphim’s heart flutters hearing Jinri’s heart match the pace of his, “where did you see me?” “I walked past you before… I think I have… I think I know you…” Jinri stood closer to him as the rain poured harder. Seraphim couldn’t take his eyes away from Jinri, “do you know who I am?” They stared at each other without any words to say. Jinri’s eyes start to water, “do I know you? Am I supposed to know who you are?” Seraphim couldn’t stop himself, he slowly lifted his hand and cupped Jinri’s face. The moment his thumb touched his mate's lips, tears fell from the corner of Jinri's eyes. Seraphim wiped mate's tears, “try and remember who I am.”
