She had to put up a front for everyone though, and that was hardest when he hit her for the first time Sequel to His Greatest Mistake, but My Greatest Treasure. You can read this on its own, but it would be helpful to read the first book to get the context. I have been told that this story can be confusing, so this is a warning that it is more intricate and requires more thinking than my others. Rated Mature for descriptions of self-harm/suicide.
