Gang

The class went by smooth and I don’t know why Theo was so worried. Even one of the guys asked me for help and was polite. I shake off my nervousness as the bell rings and I gather my supplies. “Thanks again Jade.” Landon waves at me, the one I helped, and to Theo disapproval as I wave back. “Just because I said relax don’t mean make friends.” He flicks my forehead with his big fingers as I glare at him rubbing the spot. “Theo Just because you’re a guy don’t mean I can’t whoop your ass.” I tell him as he walk out the class making him laugh. “Sorry princess.” He says digging his hand in his pocket sighing. I know he forgot that he gave his cigarettes to Hazel to hold. “Don’t tease me.” “I won’t.” I smile at him as he glares at me. “Scouts honor. Let’s meet up with Hazel but you have to wait till after school to hit.” “You’re Not my mom or my girlfriend.” He points out. “You think your girlfriend wants a man that smokes?” “That’s the point of getting one that does.” He pats my head as we see Hazel leaning against her locker popping her gum and glaring at her phone. “Also I want you to know you gave those guys a show of your hot pink lace underwear.” “What?” I blush embarrassed as glare up at Theo as he laughs and I pull at my uniform skirt. These were the same skirts I wore last year and they always covered everything. “I told you you need to get it tailored longer.” He smiles as we reach Hazel. “Hazel tell Jade that her skirt is too short.” “Very, but it’s a nice show.” Hazel winks at him as he laughs. “Yeah your ass did grow over the summer.” “It’s after she got that job.” Theo nods as Hazel leans off the locker and we all walk to our next class together. “They has you working and squatting.” “I’m so embarrassed.” I whine still can’t believe I flashed those guys. “What’s done is done.” Hazel smiles. “I’ll flash them too for you if you want.” “No it’s fine.” I laugh linking arms with her. “Hey.” We turn to my brothers smiling face as he catches up to us. “We got this class together.” “Oh yay.” Hazel links her other arm around his as we all walk into class and sit with each other. Thankfully the day goes by quicker and I’m the first one at Theos car waiting for everyone else. “Hey Jade.” I look up to one of the guys who’s name I think was Ethan that I flashes and I feel some of the color from my face drain. He smirks slightly raising an eyebrow at me. “Looked like you seen a ghost.” “Uh no sorry, do you need something?” I ask as he shakes his head glancing behind me. “Nah just wondering about the ladies Theo hangs around.” He winks at me as I roll my eyes sighing. “Okay well if you aren’t here for Theo or Jordan keep it moving.” I tell him just as I feel someone yank me away from Ethan. “What do you want?” Theo snap at him as Ethan just laughs. “Relax man I didn’t touch your girl, your cousin said stop bailing on him.” Ethan says as Theo tenses up. “He knows where to find me.” Theo pushes Ethan away from his car putting em in the back seat. He gets in the front just as Jordan and Hazel joins us. Theo backs out quickly groaning as Hazel passes his cigarette pack back which he snatches thankfully opening it before glaring at her. “Where are my cigarettes?” “Well about that.” She smiles as he turns back to the road driving us straight to his house. He turns off the car leaning his back closing his eyes. “I need a smoke.” He grumbles as Jordan pats his shoulder passing him a stick as he moans happily. “Thank god.” “You’re addicted.” Hazel smirks. “I’m stressed.” He corrects her lighting it and taking a long drag as I step out the car smiling up at his house. We always seemed to hang at his place because it was always empty. Hazel has siblings and my mom was a stay at home while our father worked. “I’m heading to your room.” I tell Theo as he nods. “I’m coming with.” Hazel hops out the car quickly as we unlock the door and walking up to his room. We always knew that Theos family was into the mafia when we were in middle school and with the house they had with only two children not Theo doesn’t like to talk about it. I had no problem because his room was huge and I loved being in it. “Who was that guy that Theo Damn near beat up at the car?” “Some guy in our class.” I sigh flopping on his bed going through one of the manga books he had scattered on his bed. “Poor Theo. I hope his cousin doesn’t bother him for too long.” Hazel pouts turning on the tv just as the boys enter the room Theo still with the irritated look on his face. “I’m ordering takeout.” Theo says as his phone rings making him groan. “I’ll be back.” “Is Theo always this uptight?” Jordan as with a laugh. “He finished two sticks while we were down in the car.” “No he was down to two cigarettes a day last year but this was the first time I’ve seen him smoke more that three in a while.” Hazel tells him throwing him a bag of weed. Oh my god. “Want me to roll it?” He smirks as she nods. Times have not changed at all. When Theo finally comes back into his room he has bags of food dropping it on his bed as we all start to dig in. For the rest of the night we eat, smoke watch tv and talk. Around 11 we are all knocked out but I don’t sleep long when I hear loud talking outside of Theo room. I glance up to see light flash into his room where the door isn’t closed all the way. I climb over Hazel on the bed and open the door to see Theo talking to a guy that was as tall and fairly resembles him. Theo looked pissed while the other guy looked rather relaxed. The other guy had his friends with him and I notice Landon and Ethan among the 5 guys. I think that’s the cousin he keeps talking about. “Ah your pets up.” Ethan smirks and points at me as all the guys look over at me including the cousin who offers me a soft sexy smile. Sexy? I must be tired. “Hey little pet.” “Oh who’s this?” The cousin words sound like silk to my ears as his dancing eyes sizes me up. “Go back to bed Jade.” Theo says sternly ignoring his cousins question pointing at the door as I just blink at him. “You’re being loud.” I mumble as he walks to me pushing me softly into the room. “And Hazel keeps kicking me.” “I’ll try and be quiet.” He sighs watching me get back into the bed. I pull the blanket over me as he closes the door. “Who’s that?” The cousin ask as soon as the door closes. “Not your concern.” Theo answers back and that’s the last I hear of anyone for the night.
