“Yo.” Jordan shakes me smiling as I yawn sitting up. “Go shower stinky.” “Shut up.” I grumble rolling on Hazel as she groans. “Really? Jesus Christ.” She sits up rubbing her eyes as I laugh walking to the bathroom shutting the door. I shower washing the skunk out of my hair. Last night felt like a dream but I know it was real. I hope Theo isn’t too mad at me for being nosy. I walk out of the bathroom and Hazel goes in next. I go to the spare room where Theo has Hazel and I leave our extra clothes and uniforms in times of need or times when we sleepover. I start to dress looking at the time realizing it’s fairly early and I’m actually not that tired. “Jay.” Jordan smiles hugging me. “Be safe okay?” “I'm always safe.” I smile up at him. “I know, but I’m just reassuring you.” He kisses my nose as we both walk down stairs to Theo smoking in the kitchen by the window. “Damn Theo.” “What?” He glares at him taking a final drag before flicking it outside. “That can catch on fire.” I remind him as he shrugs grabbing his keys as Hazel speeds down the stairs. We all walk out and into the car driving to school. Today already started as a gloomy day hopefully the sun will come out during lunch. Once Theo Park the car we all get out and Hazel and Jordan take off not waiting for Theo and I. “I’m sorry.” “For what?” He ask lighting another cigarette glancing around the parking lot. I could see he’s on more alert now since yesterday. “Last night. Didn’t mean to interrupt.” I explain as he smiles down at me. “Don’t worry about that. You did nothing wrong.” He huffs leaning against the car. “But Xavier has taken a liking in you so.” “The f**k does that mean?” I scoff rolling my eyes at him. “He can take a liking all he wants from a distance.” “Okay.” Theo smirks flicking the cigarette and giving me the box as I put it in my bag. Hazel ended up giving him all the cigarette she tried hiding from him and then some. We walk into school as the bell rings heading to our first period. I could see Theo was annoyed but head to his class. I enter my first period slouching in my seat glancing out the window to see it has started raining. Thank god i kept my umbrella in Hazels locker. “Hey puppy.” I turn to Theos cousin Xavier as he sits next to me smiling. “I’m sorry for waking you in the middle of the night, but business never stops.” “I see that.” I tell him politely as the late bell rings and the teacher walks in passing us paper work before going to sit down at her desk. Students start talking and I realize she will not be teaching today, great. “So? You and Theo are cousin?” “Yeah we are.” He smiles turning so we was facing me. He stretched his long legs out and under my desk pulling me slightly closer to him. “You and my cousin f*****g?” “What? No.” I exclaim in disgust realizing I’m being too loud. “He’s my best friend.” “Best friends f**k all the time.” He smiles shrugging leaning back. “Well we aren’t those type of best friends.” I explain to him with an eye roll. “Would you like one?” He smirks as I frown at him taking his hands off my desk. “No I wouldn’t so if you don’t mind.” I tell him as he doesn’t move. “Come on. Okay we don’t have to be those type of friends, but we can be regular ones right? Your friends with my cousin be friends with me.” He says becoming more persistent. “Sure.” I smile as he finally leaves me alone so I could start the assignment at hand. Once the bell rings I pack my stuff quickly into my bag as Xavier grabs my wrist softly sending chills up my arm as I glance at him “Yeah?” “Can you help me with this schedule?” He ask shoving the paper in my face as I take it from his hand slowly. “Finding this class was hard enough.” “Next class is with Theo. We will meet him by Hazels locker.” I smile as he follows behind me. As we leave the class he grasp onto my hand again as I give him a look. “What are you doing?” “Holding your Hand.” He smirks following me through the crowd. “Uh.” Theo glancing at his cousin and our combined hands before stuffing his hand in his pockets feeling around. “f**k it.” “He has class with you next.” I mumble blushing stepping away from Xavier as our hands break apart and Hazel looks up from her phone to see an irritated Theo and a smirking Xavier. “What happened?” Hazel ask as I grab her arm as the bell rings. “Okay bye.” I wave at them walking away from the two boys and to our next class. “Sorry.” “Sorry?” Hazel laughs. “It was so tense I’m glad you ran with me as soon as possible.” “I wonder why Theo hates him.” I mumble more to myself. “Xavier is a mafia leader idiot.” Hazel giggles as I gasp at her new information. “You’re an i***t. Anyways Theo is suppose to take over after his father because with both Xavier and Theo they are unstoppable but Theo is putting it off as much as possible.” “Makes sense now.” I slap my forehead. “You’re so clueless.” ❧ Gym was officially my least favorite class now. Not only did we have to run a mile today but Xavier was in my class and boy was those girls drooling over how well he fit in the gym clothes and how his tattoos danced all over his exposed skin and - “b***h Are you Even hearing me? Fuck.” Hazel waves her hands in front of my face as I glance at her. “Huh?” I ask standing from where we were both sitting in the grass. “I asked your goofy ass if you wanted to hang out after school?” She smiles leaning on her elbows in the grass. “Theo will be dropping you and I at my house.” “Oh that works.” I smile glancing back to where Xavier stood and he had the same idea as he watches me with hungry eyes. He could have any girl here but wants to watch me as if I’m meat. “I need a shower.” “You know, if I knew we were going to run I would’ve brought extra under garments.” Hazel whines as the gym teacher calls us back to go inside. “f**k I didn’t think about that.” I groan realizing that I was about to go pantyless for my next few classes as well as bra less but that didn’t matter. “Today is Not a day.”
