"How old are you small stuff?" His voice was gruff like he spent a lifetime doing things someone would regret. "I'm old enough." I grit out. "Old enough to what? Sing us a lullaby?" He laughed, a deep gravelly sound that honestly scared me. When his laugh turned into a choking cough I questioned for a moment if he was ok or if I needed to put my C in health to good usage. But after a few seconds of more choking laughs he seemed to be ok. "Hey I don't judge on what your mother sang to you but mine never sang to me." "Daniel! Leave the girl alone let's at least hear her sing we did say all ages welcome." The slender female next to him finally spoke up. She was the complete opposite of his muscular, gruff looking physic and pale skin with her small yet curvy physic and tan skin. They were on polar-opposite sides of the spectrum yet when he looked at her you could see how easily he melted to her whim and she to him. They didn't try to find a little of themselves in one another; they just marveled at the fact that there was none and that was the most beautiful thing. "Ok sweetie you can start whenever you are ready." "Do you know where your heart is?Do you think you can find it?Or did you trade it for somethingSomewhere better just to have it?Do you know where your love is?Do you think that you lost it?You felt it so strong, butNothing's turned out how you wantedWell, bless my soulYou're a lonely soul Cause you won't let goOf anything you holdWell, all I needIs the air I breatheAnd a place to rest my headDo you know what your fate is?And are you trying to shake it?You're doing your best dance,Your best lookYou're praying that you make itWell, all I needIs the air I breatheAnd a place to rest my head(say) all I needIs the air I breatheAnd a place to rest my headDo you think you can find it?Do you think you can find it?Do you think you can find it?Better than you had itDo you think you can find it?Yeah, better than you had it (better than you had it)(say) all I needIs the air I breatheAnd a place to rest my headDo you know where the end is?Do you think you can see it?Well, until you get thereGo on, go ahead and scream itJust say" "Well I'll be damned Ava the mini can sing" Daniel breathed out after a few moments of silence to my singing. I decided on the ride over to the audition to change my song choice opting for a simpler song. to really showcase my vocal range; is what I like to tell myself but in reality it's one of my moms favorite songs and I thought that in some way she would be in the room with me giving me strength if I sang it. Ava just smiled at me, a bright full mouth, sparkling white smile, and responded with. "Tweety let's call her tweety."
