Alexis Roberts is the daughter of a single working class mother who did everything so her daughter and son could have a good education and great life, at a young age Alexis was taught that money comes with hard work and that saving every penny she could, came with great benefits. a now twenty year old Alexis knew exactly why her mother taught her everything she did, Alexis had worked hard to finish her career as a Biological Oceanography major at Ambrose University in Virginia. Alexis wore a knee length backless dress that fit her body perfectly with a pair of black booties. they walked out of the dorm room and headed down the stairs to where Lynch and the rest of the gang was waiting. "i am heading off to New York tomorrow" she replied "i want to be able to settle in as soon as i can and do some sight seen before i begin to work. "aren't you going to see your mom before you leave" he asked it was the second time today that her mother was mentioned. "hello, Alexis speaking" she answered "hello this is the Emergency room at Clanahang Raleigh Hospital" said the operator "i would like to inform you that your mother Mrs. Roberts was in a accident and is battling for her life." without explaining Alexis turned and ran out of the pub and straight to were her beat up Kia Sorento was parked. after driving for almost three hours she finally parked her car in the parking lot at Clanahang Raleigh Hospital, she didn't care that she was still wearing the dress she wore to the pub. "hi my name is Alexis Roberts, can you direct me to my mothers room, her name is Elaine Roberts." she asked "i was told that she had been in a serious accident and was brought here. "I am doctor Williams  "Doctor, please how is my mother" she asked  "miss Roberts" said the doctor "i am sorry to say your mother has passed away, we did all we could to save her but her injuries were too severe." said the doctor Alexis was not paying attention to Doctor William anymore, all she kept replaying in her mind was the doctor telling her that her mother was dead' her world instantly shattered to pieces, all her dreams of going to New York came crashing down like a gigantic wave.
