Chapter- 5

“No!” he shook his head immediately. He will never marry a woman some random woman just for the sake of her inheritance? No way!

As if the letter burned him, he quickly put it back on the envelope and closed the luggage. He lay down on the bed, closing his eyes. The exhaustion took over his body, as it was already four in the morning. For some reason, he can't seem to fall asleep at all. The images of Cassy's naked body keep flashing in his mind like a bed scene in a steamy movie. Remembering the woman sleeping in the room next to where he is, gave him a hard-on, and that familiar heat sensation washed over him again.

“F*ck!” he cursed as he pulled his own hair. That woman is the very reason why he can't seem to fall asleep.

He got up after some time, giving up on trying to sleep, and decided to open her other luggage just beside the one he closed a while ago. Cassy was standing there just in a towel. It looked like she just finished showering. He pivoted fast and headed to the mini living room inside his suite. He decided that he’ll just wait for her there.

“Pack your things and leave!” he said turning his back on her. Instead, deciding that he needs to make Cassy leave to save himself from the temptation.

Cassy halted on her steps when she suddenly heard the man’s voice. She didn’t know that he came inside his own room while she was in the bathroom, showering. It was her fault for making the mistake of entering the wrong room last night. Still wearing his robe that she found inside the bathroom, she started to walk near him. Stopping when she was finally in front of him, but to her confusion, Delta turned his head away, seeming to avoid looking at her. She couldn’t help but blush, her face turning red when she realized that she’s only wearing a robe in front of him with no underwear. She’s not really used to being around men dressed like that. She felt self-conscious. His reaction bothers her though, is he being tempted that’s why he turned away, or is it because she’s too disgusting to look at? But she needed to swallow all her embarrassment away. Hoping that what she might do next might make him say yes to her proposal.

“Are you trying to seduce me, woman? Every time that I’m here, it feels like you’re trying to push yourself on me. It’s either you’re naked, or you’re only wearing a robe!” he said, sneering at her.

She felt the embarrassment crept on her cheeks, making her want to run and hide. But she can’t do that, she needs to swallow all her pride just for the sake of her mission.

“Why? Are you being seduced Mr. grumpy man?” she said sitting beside him. Trying to act as calm as possible when in reality she can hear her own heartbeat pounding against her ears.

He suddenly got up and pulled her to him, which caught her off guard.

He might not want to admit it, but he felt a different kind of joy inside, knowing that he’s the first guy in her life. The first one to be inside her. The first one to possess this goddess-like body. Thinking about it just increased the happiness that he’s already feeling.
