Every day, millions of people accessed the Eternal Empire forums especially the section of the Quests and Events Video Feeds. Of course, no one is interested on the videos and blogs uploaded by low level players. It is always an assumption that the higher the level of the uploader, the more interesting the content is. Though it is true 99% of the time, it is not always the case. There are still some instances where that slim 1% can actually create an uproar that none among the subscribers of the website would expect.

Just a couple of days ago, a new blogger going by the name of HeroSeeker had uploaded a three-hour video regarding a Class C+ Event Quest that transpired within the territory of Latona, a city which was supposedly a Beginner’s Area. At first, the users were skeptical when they read the description of the video’s content. But the moment that they began watching, the word instantly created a ripple effect throughout the site and throughout the net.

The video then hit the 40,000,000+ views and the 100,000+ comments just within the span of 24 hours and of those that saw it were very much content. It was like something that came out from an Epic Fantasy-Action film where the Heroes fight against the forces of evil, overcome a large amount of adversities, and reign victorious in the end.

Title: The Amradias Incident Part One

When I woke up that day and logged in into my Eternal Empire account, I thought that my gaming day will be normal as usual. We will hunt, we will practice, and then Master Bart will teach us something new again.

It was a routine that I had been used to for the last month in the game. And though the training had detached me from the rest of the world, it was a price that I was happy to pay for in return, I had gained new experiences, skills, and items that I could never dream of acquiring outside our training and most of all, on my own.

However, that fated day ended up differently for me and my fellow disciples. Since for only a few hours later after we started our practice, the training ground and the rest of the forest was suddenly clad in thick darkness.

[Dark Shackles] has been activated by an unknown source.

The souls of the users within the vicinity of the Black Mist are now captured by the caster of the Dark Shackles. Users whose soul has been captured will have their resurrection point forcibly changed into their current area within the Black Mist. In addition, users are unable logout from the game or to exit the area influenced by the Dark Shackles as long as the caster lives.

Well, I will skip on the most chaotic parts that occur after that. Since to be honest, I don’t really remember much about those fleeting minutes when we were fighting for our lives against the Ghouls. All I know is that due to that sudden attack, we lost Ecks and Gust, two of our Party’s most crucial members.

“Basche!” Deidre shouted as she aimed her arrow towards me.

Understanding what it means, I squat quickly and her arrow hit the eye of the Ghoul lunging at me from behind.

“Magnum Impact!” I then struck the undead several times until it shatter into pieces.

“Damn! There’s no end to them.” Trevol said as he, along with Louie and Kylo obliterated a group of Ghouls, but at the same time, must face a new emerging batch from the woods.

“Rapid Fire!”

Deidre used her ‘Rapid Fire’ to the enemies heading towards Trevol’s group. It’s an Archery skill that doubles the firing speed and accuracy in the expense of reducing the arrows’ attacking power by 80%. All the arrows perfectly hit the heads of the Ghouls. And though it didn’t inflict much damage, it had somehow slowed them down, giving a breathing space and attacking opportunity for the Trio.

“Earth Splitter!” The Trio simultaneously attacked.

And I, who had already cleared all my attackers, joined and assist them. “Magnum Impact!”

“Double Strafe!” Deidre launches before asking, “Hey! Where’s Gambit?”

“I don’t know,” Louie replied. “But the last time I saw him, he was heading to the woods while being chased by dozens of Ghouls.”

“Damn it!” Deidre cursed upon hearing that. “He was our last Buffer.”

“There nothing we can do about it,” said Trevol. “Let’s just hope he’ll survive and join us later.”

“Tsk!” Though Deidre understood the circumstances, she couldn’t still help gritting her teeth in frustration. Ecks and Gambit had been our main source of support from the very beginning. So now that they are gone, it is in no exaggeration that our attacking power is shredded by half.

But right when we were in the middle of those arguments, Master Bart finally arrives.

And for a brief moment then, we were happy and relieved that he’d joined us. He is our mentor and the one who imparted to us our current strength. If there is someone who can save us from this peril it will be none other but him.

However, that joy was short-lived.

GRRRR, ROAAAR!

A roar exploded from the rear of the Ghouls. And the undead monsters that had been ceaselessly pressing parted to the sides as an enormous monster appeared.

The Emissary of Darkness, Many Eyed Demon [Amradias] has appeared

Amradias was a Goat Demon with 12 red eyes. His hulking body stood at 10 meters tall which was fully covered with black armor while his weapon is a giant hammer that’s even taller than him.

“A demon…?” I shuddered as my brain process the sight that unveils before me.

The rest were also the same, they also find their selves frozen while staring at Amradias in both fear and awe.

“My disciples!” And if it weren’t for Master Bart’s voice reaching out for us, the fear might have consumed us and we would have died pathetically back then.

“Master Bart!” “Sir Bart!” We all responded, like soldiers saluting to our commanding officer.

He stabbed his sword to the ground and activated ‘Grand Heal.’ A wide range Holy Type AOE skill that heals allies and inflict damage to undead creatures. And though its power was halved due to the Black Mist, its effect, after four activations, still managed to fully restore our Health and exterminate the remaining Ghouls in the area, thus, vacating the training ground of everything else aside from us and Amradias.

He then instructed us to prepare for battle, in which we immediately complied. And while battling the demon, he gradually explained to us what are transpiring as well as the identity of Amradias.

According to Master Bart, Amradias is a Demon of Destruction that was defeated and sealed by his predecessors in the past. And unfortunately, not so long ago, that seal had loses its effect, freeing him.

“Concentrated attack!” Deidre instructed to us while ceaselessly shooting arrows.

“Magnum Impact!” “Earth Splitter!” We bombarded him for countless times with our finishing attacks but Amradias didn’t even turn his head. It’s like none of our attacks are even worth of his attention.

“Kekekekee, foolish hairless apes!” Amradias laughed and he swung to us his giant hammer.

We were blown away by shockwave created by the hammer’s impact which was followed by the sound of our gears and weapons cracking and shattering. That was the last thing I remembered regarding that specific confrontation before everything went black.

Afterwards, I woke up from the curative effect of Master Bart’s ‘Grand Heal.’ And with the help of those that had recovered first before me, specifically Kylo, who assisted me back to my feet, we consume several Health recovery items and equipped our reserved armors and weapons in order to resume fighting.

But similar to our earlier attempts, our strongest attacks remain ineffective against the tough defense of Amradias. While the demon is barely taking a scratch, we on the other hand, are growing tired, running out of Health and Mana while the durability of our armors and weapons are steadily depleting. It was the point where despair began to sink in into me and probably towards the others as well.

How in the world are we going to defeat this monster? That was a question that keeps on replaying on my head again and again as I continue fighting the seemingly hopeless battle.

But as I was having those thoughts, a familiar voice roared out of nowhere.

“Magnum Impact!”

And when I looked up, an explosion had already ignited at the back of Amradias neck.

And guys, I will really tell you all, at that moment, I really thought that I was dreaming when that sight unveils before me. Seriously, after fighting Amradias for a prolonged time and still not do much damage despite the help from our Master, I was completely convince that there’s nothing that can hurt that bastard. But for the first time of what seems like forever, I’d finally seen him took a significant hit as he collapse to the ground.

However, what follows after that was far more unbelievable than Amradias’ fall. And it was the revelation of who inflicted that knockout blow.

“All of you! Attack him now!”

“Brother Grimm!?” I exclaimed as I watch him in a daze as he descend like an Angel with wings made out of swords towards Amradias’ head.

“Nine Headed Naga Strike!” He stabbed Amradias’ eyes and his wings disperse and simultaneously stabbed the Demon’s head.

I somehow heard Master Bart called it the Phantasmal Blade, but I wasn’t quite sure. My attention back then was too focused on Brother Grimm’s battle that I fail to pay any attention to everything else.

“Hey!” In a scolding manner, he shouted towards us again. “Didn’t you guys hear me!? He’s down, it’s our chance!”

“Y-yeah!” We all stuttered as we snapped out of our daze and resume attacking Amradias.

We bombarded the Demon with continuous attacks once again. But unlike our earlier struggles, our weapons land a solid blow this time. And it is all thanks to Brother Grimm’s successful tearing on Amradias defense.

However, when we thought that we are about to win. An alert message popped before us, notifying that Amradias activated a Special Skill.

Amradias has used ‘Stronghold of the Tainted Souls’

All the Ghouls within the 50 meter radius will be instantly transported towards Amdarias’ location.

Number of Ghouls: 32

Upon that message, those 32 Ghouls immediately emerged around Amradias before charging towards us. And though we manage to defeat the Ghouls, Amradias used the commotion to escape.
