Faren wiped his face, drenched in ice-cold water, with his hand.
His handsome face was marked with small ice shards, red and bruised.
Everyone around stopped and stared at them.
Faren cleaned the ice shards stuck to his blue work coveralls with a slight smile on his face. He carefully adjusted the outfit he wore in the engineering faculty.
"No woman has ever dared to treat me like this," he said quietly but in a menacing tone.
"I've never seen someone as despicable as you," said the brave girl, squeezing the plastic cup in her hand.
She stared at Faren angrily, seemingly forgetting the vast difference between them.
"Hehe," Faren chuckled lightly, never taking his eyes off Nam Khing.
"I can be even worse," Faren said in a low voice.
Suddenly, he grabbed Nam Khing by the collar of her thin student shirt and lifted her off the ground.
"Ah!" Nam Khing's slender body was hoisted into the air as her collar was pulled.
Pop! Pop!
The buttons of her shirt snapped off, hitting Faren's blue coveralls and exposing her chest.
Nam Khing immediately covered her chest with her hands, but she couldn't escape Faren's sharp eyes.
"Let go of me," she said, trying to hide her fear.
Faren yanked her shirt hard, ripping all the buttons off.
"Scumbag!" Nam Khing tried to cover herself quickly.
Faren let go of her collar.
"Today, I'll give you all a good show," Faren shouted in front of the engineering building.
He ripped open Nam Khing's student shirt, exposing her.
"Hey!" Nam Khing, in shock, tried to cover herself with her hands.
As the male students around them stared, Nam Khing clutched her shirt tightly and glared at Faren with fury.
"This isn't enough," Faren said, lowering his eyes to her chest.
"Because you humiliated me," Faren said, pointing at her.
"Let's go, Faren," a woman said, cleaning Faren's wet shirt.
"Let's go," Faren said, responding normally to the woman.
"Someone like you is only strong against the weak, Faren!" Nam Khing said, clutching her shirt.
"What did you say?" Faren asked with a blank expression.
"How much longer will you pay attention to Faren?" the woman said, turning to Nam Khing.
"Just know this," Nam Khing said, gritting her teeth.
"If you didn't come from a rich and powerful family," she said, looking him up and down.
"You'd be no different from a dog," Nam Khing said.
"You're just flaunting your parents' power," Nam Khing said.
"Always be this smart," Faren said, turning away.
Nam Khing quickly retreated to her faculty, her clothes in tatters.
On the way, she ran into Clint, who was running towards Faren.
"Faren, Windsor went to America," Clint said.
"Time said he moved his flight up," Clint said.
These words stopped Nam Khing because they concerned her close friend.
"Irene," Nam Khing thought of her friend.
"What?" Faren said, shocked.
Windsor leaving worried him. He tried to call Irene but got no answer.
"He was with Irene last night, I thought he'd give up," Faren said, worried.
"If Windsor really left, I'm done," Faren said, holding his head in his hands.
"This is Irene's friend, Nam Khing," Clint said, noticing Nam Khing.
Nam Khing quickly walked away because she didn't want to be there at that moment.

**NAM KHING'S PART**
I tried to reach Irene for a long time, and finally, she answered my call.
Irene said she wanted to be alone for a while. I thought it would be good for her to be alone so she could think about her relationship with Windsor and understand what made her happy.
After all, as a friend, my duty was to be there for her no matter what decision she made.
However, since Irene wanted to be alone at the moment, I took action to solve my problems.
Each issue was heavy and difficult.

**XSO Bar**
I waited to meet with the owner of XSO bar. Finally, I met with him.
"Mr. YC," I said, stepping in front of him.
"Who are you?" he said, looking me up and down.
"Apply inside for a job," he said, pointing to the back door.
"I'm not here to apply for a job; I came to talk about Je Dao's dismissal," I said. YC frowned.
"The employee who was fired this morning," I said.
"I'm the only one who angered Faren, please just fire me," I said.
"I don't want to lose a really good employee," YC said.
"If it were anyone else, I might object, but this is Faren."
"If Faren is unhappy, my bar could be shut down," YC said.
"But Je Dao's situation is very tough, she shouldn't be jobless," I said.
"Alright, I'll arrange a job for her," YC said, patting my shoulder.
"The same position, the same salary, just at another bar," YC said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes, really," YC said.
"Thank you," I said, feeling relieved.
"You're good, accepting your mistake and taking responsibility," YC said, patting my shoulder.
"But asking for more work would be shameful," I said.
"Okay?" YC said.
"Okay," I said.
"Good luck," YC said and walked towards his partner.

**Student Dormitory, Room 269**
I looked at the money I had saved and my eyes filled with tears.
"I have to work at the ice cream shop, no earnings today," I said, marking another day on my monthly calendar.
"I was fired from the side job without pay," I said, burying my head in my hands.

Phone Rings
-Dad-
I looked at the phone screen, tears streaming down my face. I didn't answer the call.
The phone rang three or four times, then stopped.
---
**Knocking on the Door**
The door knocked, I wiped my tears and ran to the door. Usually, my friends come to study or Irene asks me to stay with her.
"I'm coming," I said, opening the door.
When the door opened, an uninvited guest walked in with an evil smile.
"You?" I said, stepping back.
"What are you doing here?" I said, trying to push him out.
Bang!
Faren kicked the door shut.
"Get out!"
"I'll scream for help," I said, trying to hide my fear.
"What will you do?" he said, getting close to my face.
I stepped back, and with each step, he got closer.
---
When he got too close:
"You weren't this strong outside," he said, blowing cigarette smoke in my face.
