“Blessed be,” Maria and Grace say as he opens the door to his and Michael’s house. Their baby girl, May, strapped to Maria’s chest.
“Blessed be, come in. Michael is in the yard getting the fire going. Come through,” Daniel welcomes his friends.
“Thank you. This was such a good idea, just having a small thing for solstice this year. Not sure May is ready for the whole circle,” Maria says as they walk to the back of the house and out into the yard.
Michael spots them right away and comes over, greeting everyone with kisses, including May. Seeing Michael with May these past few months has had Daniel thinking about having kids seriously for the first time in his life.
