My body instinctively reacted. I rushed forward to help him with the unconscious body that he was having a hard time carrying. I grab one side of the person and hear Malikai grunt in discomfort when the weight was lifted off of him. As soon as the body was laid down he nearly collapsed right next to me.
"Are you alright?" Nicholas quickly came over.
He looked over at the unconscious body while I rushed to check on Malikai. He looked exhausted and worn down. His uniform was rumpled and torn in places. There was blood all over him.
"Oh my god! You're head!" I nearly panic as I see there was a small abrasion at his temple that was bleeding before but seemed to have stopped.
"It's nothing, I'm okay." He winced when I went to check it with my fingers.
